@@gitrox412 🤔 I think some Samsung Earbuds and other Soundcore. But the other ones Soundcore were too big in my opinion. But don't remember exactly. These were perfect at the moment. at medium volumes, the A40 I find doesn't have much bass feel. my liberty 3 pro I feel bass at basically every volume level but I guess that's what you get with an aperture that is dedicated to bass. I love my A40 because I got them for comfort, compact, and battery life for when I'm at work. I can go a whole shift with higher volume, ambient sound on, and get through an entire shift
Trust me, these are awesome! I found them to have an insane amount of bass response, almost too much even for this basshead. However, I was able to tame it by going into my Galaxy S24U's equalizer and use the treble boost which gave me exactly the amount of bass needed to fill my ears. Just bought these on Newegg and sold my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros. They just wouldn't stay in my ears even with the spin fit earbud tips. My backups will be my Galaxy Buds 2. The buds 2 are fine but the sound quality of Soundcore is so much clearer and balanced. By far, my favorite headphones are the Soundcore Q30.
Such a detailed review, as usual. I watched 3 of your reviews in a row and I'm not fed up, so thanks! You've been very useful for my research on True Wireless at a decent price.

Love the review! I got a pair of L3Ps because of you and ABSOLUTELY loving them! I'd love to know how these two different price points compare though. The one issue I have being a lower battery life on the L3Ps. Thanks for the reviews, as always!
The Space A40's are great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I also have the Space Q45 headphones and they are also excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I recommend both of these highly!
Coming from the Soundcore Life Dot 2, the Space A40 is a great upgrade. I work in a warehouse and I sneak in an earbud while working because you best believe I'm not doing an 8 hour shift with the sound of machinery non stop. The Life Dot 2's always had good noise canceling but that flashing white light was becoming a big "HEY Look at me!!!". The Space A40 are better in every way I can think especially with blocking out the machine sounds at work. The app, the LDAC (Which actually sounds good), Transparency/Normal/Noise Cancel modes are so necessary and convenient, The battery is solid, The size of the case and buds are smaller. Before I picked up the A40 I tried out the new PIxel buds pro hoping they'd go well with my Pixel 7 and they do but I wasn't in love with the sound. The A40's do everything the pixel buds pro and Life Dot 2 do but better. Can't recommend them enough.
I'm glad you posted this. I'm still using the Life Dot 2, but they are starting to fall apart. I'm glad to know these will probably be a good replacement.
I'm planning to change from my Life Dot 2 to these ones, but i've heard that the sound quality is a little meh, especially if you compare them with some other earbuds around this price (like edifier w240tn). Is really the sound quality that bad? I'm curious to know if they're similar to the Life Dot 2, because i love their sound and also their fit in my ear.
Wow ! Soundcore crush the entire industry with their products :) I’m impressed seriously ! I am about to buy space q45. I hesitate between q45 and sennheiser momemtum 4 (yes they are more expensive, but the extra cost worth it? ). Thank you El jefe, great video my friend !! It’s always a pleasure to listen to you 👍👍
Got my pair today! Looking forward to wearing them. As an Earfun fan, i was glad for the comparison study. Thanks for the excellent review. I'll be breaking these in soon....so testing testing 123
Soundcore seems to be the one company focused on earbuds technology. I'm still rocking the Liberty Pro 3's and they still get it done. I'm curious about these because of their size. I don't know if they match the sound of the Liberty 3 Pro's but these might be a good backup pair, especially when I run. Soundcore could do a little better with phone calls on these. Thanks El Jefe.
@@ELJefeReviews do liberty 3 pro have too much trebles? im looking for bassy sound tws earbuds under 150$. They cant bee too big, also latency needs to be fine because ill use them for youtube, netflix etc. Im also thinking about jabra elite 7 pro and buds 2
With a price difference of only like $30 would you recommend the Liberty 3 or these? My main concern is connectivity, fit and battery life with LDAC. I listen to a lot of high res music on Tidal and Qobuz and need something that lasts. I've heard iffy things about the Liberty 3, but they look like they'll stay in my ears better. I tend to have bad luck with earbuds slipping out.
Thanks for the review! I did buy the Soundcore Space A40 for use at the gym, and I like them. As you suggested, I also purchased the SpinFit CP1025 ear tips, and they fit my ear better than the ear tips supplied with the Soundcore earbuds and block more outside sound. I have average size ears for a man and purchased the SpinFit tip package with both the ML and L-size earpieces, and the L size blocked more outside noise. The Space A40, mobile phone app has an ear-tip test program, which made me believe that ear-tip fit matters when blocking outside noise.
Definitely gonna have to get these in a few weeks, Soundcore becoming my favorite brand for audio products, also quite possibly has the best companion app around. Great work on the review as always El Jeffe🤘
This, the single earbuds usage options with these earbuds is what I love about them and am eyeing to get them. I nearly always use only one earbuds at a time (usually just listening to RUclips videos, not music) so also having ambient mode on a single one and having a decent battery life sounds great.
@@ELJefeReviews Whelp, can't wait till tonight. Wife is gonna pick up a pair for me while I'm at work. Must admit your review looked good, so hoping they're gonna be good. Cheers!
@@sa1f43 generally I'm happy. They get loud enough even for my slightly weaker hearing. Sound quality is great to me. App is nice with several options for anc and transparency mode. The transparency mode is awesome, as if you're not wearing them. These are my first anc headphones so I can't really compare them to anything, but I get an it gets the job mostly done. Doesn't remove all the sound around you, for instance you'll still mostly hear cars passing by (which I actually like) but generally I've felt more comfortable riding on the bus with them. Having issues personally with the tip sizes. While you get 5 none feel just right for me so prolly gonna get aftermarket ones. Microphones aren't the very best but do a good job as long as there's a proper seal in your ear. If the earbuds is even a little out of the ear the other person on the call will hear themselves. Battery life is good and they quick charge nicely. Been using them with xiaomi 10t and worked flawlessly. Now using them with an xiaomi 12t for a week and having issues in the game "shop titans" where if using ldac the sounds are distorted and breaking up, but without ldac all is fine. I'm guessing that's just a miui bug of some sort. Generally I like them and would recommend them to other people.
@Tomislav Lepušić here's my story on why i bought them semi impulsively: I'm an overnight stocker for the candy aisle. I set my cheap worn out headphones (JVC) on one of the shelves and forgot about them. Went to grab em from my backpack after chatting with someone at the end of my shift. (We get out at 7am and store opens at 6am) They weren't there. I checked where I left them. They weren't there. Only place I didn't check (cause I was certain I didn't leave them there) for em was on a ladder cart I put away. I checked customer service (for lost and found) and gave up. But I felt this was an excuse to get a replacement. So I pop over to electronics and went looking for noise canceling over ear headphones. Saw the anker brand (I've heard good things about them when it comes to steam deck accessories) and then looked them up on the walmart app. (Didn't want to spend over 100) One of the non promotional reviews sold me on it. (There was only 1 1star with no text.) He said something like, "you don't need expensive earbuds to have good ones." He even says he thinks they are better than samsung and airpods. So I bought them. Found out it had transparency later. The last feature I looked for was mono. (One earbud is the rule at the store) Saw it had it. Now I can finally mostly ignore the crappy music that plays on walmart radio as well as the boring talks how's. No regrets. One complaint I had was I turned off the controls but they still were going off. Looks like I didn't notice you need to turn them off per mode or something.
Very good review, thank you. The few things that missing are - multipoint test and Windows\MacOS\Linux connectivity test. But, I will soon test those personally as I've ordered A40. and will use it as a shared headset for my personal\working PC. Right now the price is crazy - ~ 64$
Jefe I bought these last night after watching this review and have been loving them today; very comfortable, ANC is excellent and the app provides many useful options. You and Flossy have been insightful resources in the tech domain and I enjoy your videos.
Great review, once again, El Jefe! I've just got LP3, since you liked them so much... I've actually got them for less than 99$ 😏 The only downside of LP3 is fit, for me... Could you make a show comparison of a40 and LP3, please 🙏 Thanks in advance!
I'm thinking about getting these but I've heard several reviews say the sub Bass in these is weak, especially for soundcore and can even be distorted at times. Have you found this to be the case?
dont know about the distortion (i have soundcore headphones but i listen to rock and heavily distorted music 99% of the time lmao) but if the bass is weak, you can change the settings with the app
So I just purchased these ear buds on Amazon for $55 on sale. Going to drive these for a week and see how they do. Trying to find ear buds as a truck driver is pretty tough, and I rarely see anyone discussing this subject. Hoping that I can add to this comment later on to see what I have found. I don't listen to music too often, but I'm pretty big into audiobooks and podcasts.
Just bought these off your affiliate link! Thank you for testing all these out for us. Soundcore has been killing it! 🔥 I have a question, I’m a mobile gamer and I’m wondering how bad the latency is for video games?
I have the Soundcore life A3i. It's my first pair of buds. Have them for almost 3 years and really like them but looking to upgrade. Not a fan of the stem design. I mostly use my buds for listening to music and watching videos. Was thinking of the space A40's or what are some good alternatives?
Great review!! Love Soundcore, I have four different pair of their buds and couldn't be more pleased with their product. Their app is one of the best and a great tool that makes Soundcore buds even better. The Space A40 will be a definite add to the collection. Love the content!
Just got these 1 day ago and im absolutely loving them. I had Sony WF-C500s before these and I can say these Space A40s are better smaller and more comfortable.
Great and thorough review! How does the sound on these compare to the Life A3i's? They are cheaper and I've had my eye on them for a while. As far as the EQ modes, I've always been a big fan of the Acoustic setting but recently I took your advice on the Piano mode and it really brightened up my Q20s! Also, for those of us who gravitate more to EDM than Hip Hop, I highly recommend Freedom by Arty. The bass in that song is something to behold!
Hey Jefe, great video as always! I wanted to ask if you are prioritizing ANC above everything else, are the Jabra Elite 4 active the best tws earbuds under 100? And if so are they good enough to hold their own vs the 150-ish dollars range? The likes of LinkBuds S and 1more Evo or is the difference that big? Wondering if spending those extra 50 dollars is really worth it. Thanks!
if you actually priorities ANC over anything else, u don't get the Jabra, yes, they used to be one of the best, but since there's something like this A40, or other brand like edifier with their neobuds pro, those would be something u choose if ANC is your priority 1more also have one of the best ANC and sound in these price range with their comfobuds pro and yea, the difference with the likes of 1more evo is big, bcs yes it cost $150 ish, but it competes with a legitimate $200+ competition from the bigger brand, as with the liberty 3 pro, if $50 isn't really a big deal for you, don't even hesitate to choose either the evo or the 3 Pro
This has me sold halfway through before I even get to the sound quality and that's mainly what I wanted to hear about... or so I thought. All these features in the app have my mind blown after researching and watching reviews for other products. Even the high-end products I considered don't seem worth an extra $50 let alone an extra $100 or $200. I watched your review on the Sony vs Bowers & Wilkins and they don't seem worth it.
Perfect timing on the review. The right bud on my Liberty Air 2s died after 2 years of service so I'm in the market for a new pair. I was between the Liberty Air 2 Pros or one of the Jabra Elite models, then just found out about the Space A40s. As the guy who sold me on the Liberty Air 2s, I think now I'll be picking up a pair of these
Thanks for a great review. Purchased my pair after viewing… these are great. The only thing I would note that telephone calls in a noisy environment are not good- I can hear great but the other party hears the noise- so much that I can’t use these in an airport. This is so frustrating. I don’t understand why air Bud makers cannot employ affective noise canceling on the microphone for telephone calls. I have several telephone call dedicated earpieces that work great but none of my earbuds can compare, and thus I am forced to carry two different sets - One for music and one for Tele phone calls.
Jeffe you should have told them about the volume slider for transparency ANC modes. I am in total agreement with you. I love sound core products but they have to listen to their buyers if they want to push company to next level. Excellent review. I was looking for a pair of ear buds I could wear while sleeping withouot any discomfort.
Used your code, copied and paste, for a pair of white ones and saved $20 on Amazon. I am a big Soundcore fan and your review sealed the deal. These have enough upgrades to replace my P3's (which were great).
@@ELJefeReviews I found out about these buds due to me accidentally stumbling onto your channel...Thanks so much for the info Jefe !!! Liked and subbed
Pulled the trigger on these bad boys, and mannn so much better than using these cheap $20 - $30 headphones I been using. The ANC is great for me, and it's crazy how the transparency mode works. Now to try this bamboo song lol
Your reviews are brilliant! I only stumbed onto your channel a few days back. Some excellent content and you helped me make up my mind on purchasing these ✌️ from the UK
... good, well put-together review... as for the A40, they are all that's said, except they are NOT-comfortable-side-sleeping (least in my experience)... when side sleeping pressure is exerted, they are very uncomfortable, and have a tendency of falling out, resulting in having to look for them to be re-inserted... not what was looking for, need to return them and continue searching
I really wish these had triple tap so that I can put the same control layout as my Liberty 3 Pro, right now I have to sacrifice volume control if I want to keep ambient/ANC + smart assistant + next/previous track.
Another great review Jeff. I ordered the earfun Air S, for phone calls only. Cheapest multipoint since Plantronics! Hanging on to the Liberty 3 pro for now for sound. Although the wings on those have really begun to slip. I was saved by your spinfit recommendation though. Like the look and small size of the space A40s they may be coming soon.
How does the EQ shift when turning on ANC compare to that of the Q30 and the Liberty 3 pro? Really hated that issue on the Q30, so it would be a deal breaker for me
I recently got a pair of space a40's and I have noticed a problem. At low volumes (maybe 15% of max) the audio starts clipping, and the earbuds don't play any sound at all on quiet parts of songs. This only happens in normal mode. Does any one else have this problem, and is there a solution?
Question for EL JEFE, please. I sunk my charging case and wonder whether the A20i case is the same setup as the A40 case. The charging terminals look very similar, and was hoping to buy the A20i earbuds (cheaper)and charge my A40's!

Love the review! I got a pair of L3Ps because of you and ABSOLUTELY loving them! I'd love to know how these two different price points compare though. The one issue I have being a lower battery life on the L3Ps. Thanks for the reviews, as always!
Liberty 3 Pro offer better sound quality overall. But these get surprisingly close and have superior battery life as I showed in this review.
I have both the A40 and the Sleep A10. Very happy with them!
The Space A40's are great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I also have the Space Q45 headphones and they are also excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I recommend both of these highly!
Yeah the volume is good for both of these. I'm a hard rock listener and they're loud enough for me.
Best review of these ive seen. Thank you for this. You have me sold. Most reviews forget to mention single earbud mode.
Glad I could help!
Nice!
I'm glad you posted this. I'm still using the Life Dot 2, but they are starting to fall apart. I'm glad to know these will probably be a good replacement.
how do you feel about the fit. i loved the way the dot 2s fit in my ear but i worried about these slipping out
I'm planning to change from my Life Dot 2 to these ones, but i've heard that the sound quality is a little meh, especially if you compare them with some other earbuds around this price (like edifier w240tn). Is really the sound quality that bad? I'm curious to know if they're similar to the Life Dot 2, because i love their sound and also their fit in my ear.
i just ordered these. they are on sale for 53 bucks. its gonna be great for me to be able to hook up to my pc and my phone at home
Nice!
Wow ! Soundcore crush the entire industry with their products :)
I’m impressed seriously ! I am about to buy space q45. I hesitate between q45 and sennheiser momemtum 4 (yes they are more expensive, but the extra cost worth it? ). Thank you El jefe, great video my friend !! It’s always a pleasure to listen to you 👍👍
Thanks so much for including the correct model spinfit tips to get for these, ordered them along with these and so happy I did.
Happy to help!
Awesome review, awesome product! It’s gonna be a fun few months seeing how things stack up against these in the budget space.
Agreed bro!
Got my pair today! Looking forward to wearing them. As an Earfun fan, i was glad for the comparison study.
Thanks for the excellent review. I'll be breaking these in soon....so testing testing 123
Lets go!!!
Liberty 3 Pro offer better sound quality overall. But these get surprisingly close and have superior battery life as I showed in this review.
@@ELJefeReviews Yes, that's why they sit in my cart. My arm is twisting so much, it might snap any moment El Jefe. lol

Fantastic video and fantastic buds! Cheers Jefe!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you bro!
@@ELJefeReviews you're welcome! Can't wait to get my hands on these soon🤘
This, the single earbuds usage options with these earbuds is what I love about them and am eyeing to get them. I nearly always use only one earbuds at a time (usually just listening to RUclips videos, not music) so also having ambient mode on a single one and having a decent battery life sounds great.
Couldn't agree more!
@@ELJefeReviews Whelp, can't wait till tonight. Wife is gonna pick up a pair for me while I'm at work. Must admit your review looked good, so hoping they're gonna be good. Cheers!
@@syntextoxyronin1399 so how were they?
Right now the price is crazy - ~ 64$
thank you. are they better than the Liberty 3 Pro?
Liberty 3 Pro offer better sound quality overall. But these get surprisingly close and have superior battery life as I showed in this review.
Just got these, very pleased with them. Just one thing, anyone trying out the fit test, apparently it doesn't work in LDAC, just AAC.
Jefe I bought these last night after watching this review and have been loving them today; very comfortable, ANC is excellent and the app provides many useful options. You and Flossy have been insightful resources in the tech domain and I enjoy your videos.
Glad you like them!
Do they have wear in ear detection ?? Also how strong are the magnets ???
Great review, once again, El Jefe!
I've just got LP3, since you liked them so much... I've actually got them for less than 99$ 😏
The only downside of LP3 is fit, for me...
Could you make a show comparison of a40 and LP3, please 🙏
Thanks in advance!
These are substantially smaller and should fit most people better than L3P.
this isnt stuff i watch regularly, but i want to say that i appreciate you, thanks for being lovely and making lovely content
I appreciate that!
It's minimal. The Space A40 have a low-latency gaming mode!
I have the Soundcore life A3i. It's my first pair of buds. Have them for almost 3 years and really like them but looking to upgrade. Not a fan of the stem design. I mostly use my buds for listening to music and watching videos. Was thinking of the space A40's or what are some good alternatives?
Liberty 3 Pro if you want a real upgrade.
@@ELJefeReviews thank you sir. If I do have a change of heart and opt to go the stem style way, what would you recommend?
Great review!! Love Soundcore, I have four different pair of their buds and couldn't be more pleased with their product. Their app is one of the best and a great tool that makes Soundcore buds even better. The Space A40 will be a definite add to the collection. Love the content!

@@ELJefeReviews one more quick question. You talked abut the size, how do they compare to the Life A3i. Thanks
@@stanmakowski1985 I'm also looking to know this
Just got these 1 day ago and im absolutely loving them. I had Sony WF-C500s before these and I can say these Space A40s are better smaller and more comfortable.
Thanks for such a professional review
Glad it was helpful!
I bought the space q45 a few weeks ago. I'm thinking about getting these, too. Good video, man.
@el jefe reviews appreciate the in depth review and the song rec, bamboo. haven't heard that in a minute. Yeee
Glad I could help!
Thanks!
if you actually priorities ANC over anything else, u don't get the Jabra, yes, they used to be one of the best, but since there's something like this A40, or other brand like edifier with their neobuds pro, those would be something u choose if ANC is your priority
1more also have one of the best ANC and sound in these price range with their comfobuds pro
and yea, the difference with the likes of 1more evo is big, bcs yes it cost $150 ish, but it competes with a legitimate $200+ competition from the bigger brand, as with the liberty 3 pro, if $50 isn't really a big deal for you, don't even hesitate to choose either the evo or the 3 Pro
Ok, I pulled the trigger. Should be here tomorrow. (Monday) I didn't want to miss out on the 20% discount either. hehe.
Right on! I hope you enjoy them!
As the guy who sold me on the Liberty Air 2s, I think now I'll be picking up a pair of these
That is seriously good timing. Make sure you use that 20% off code I left in the video description.
Ótima análise! Parabéns pelo trabalho de qualidade. E obrigado pelas dicas de músicas!!!

I actually did. I included that in my notes to their engineers.
Got em for 59 bucks in an Amazon last minute offer, waiting to get my hands on next Saturday!
Hope you enjoy it!
Used your code, copied and paste, for a pair of white ones and saved $20 on Amazon. I am a big Soundcore fan and your review sealed the deal. These have enough upgrades to replace my P3's (which were great).

... good, well put-together review... as for the A40, they are all that's said, except they are NOT-comfortable-side-sleeping (least in my experience)... when side sleeping pressure is exerted, they are very uncomfortable, and have a tendency of falling out, resulting in having to look for them to be re-inserted... not what was looking for, need to return them and continue searching
Do these or the Sennhesier cx tw earbuds sound better? Sound is my only priority, so I want to know which will be better for that.
You deserve more attention, have your like foo 🤙🏼

I really wish these had triple tap so that I can put the same control layout as my Liberty 3 Pro, right now I have to sacrifice volume control if I want to keep ambient/ANC + smart assistant + next/previous track.
Could prob get added as a firmware update.
