I always learn growing up to keep your bow up after you shoot. I notice a lot of people dropping their bows to the left after they shoot like you do. Is there a benefit or any reason behind that?

If your having a surprise shot using back tension that “explosion” from your release firing causes your release hand to come back and your bow arm to go opposite

I'm just asking because I'm NOT a bow hunter and pretty much know next to nothing about it. Would any of you bow hunters take this shot in real life. I'm just asking because I really do NOT know

Definitely not. Most hunters are 40 yards and less, some go out as far as 70 or 80 yards on elk, moose or caribou, (because they are big) but its Definitely not the norm

I'm never one to give advice but thats exactly what I noticed too..bow hand held at Target and release hand held in position after release is a good follow through
