When you got on scene you didn’t take over because you’re the owner. To me that is a true sign of a leader. You picked up trash, etc while allowing Mike to do the recovery. Anybody can be a boss but not everyone can be a leader. Much respect from the great state of South Carolina.

Yeah I admired that too. Ron seems like a great boss as he is not afraid to do the grunt work that most employers force the employees to do. IE: picking up trash and not interrupting Mike while he was trying work.

I miss Missouri, but watching Ron's video bring a smile to my face.
Also understand the liability of starting the engine, was a Firefighter and the department was sued for cutting someone out of a vehicle to get them out for causing excessive damage to their vehicle. By the way the judge laughed them out of court.

Former LEO, I broke a car window to help extricate a very large individual. Car was sinking in a flooded street and no time to wait for the Fire Department... Paper tag on the back wasn't even in the computer system yet and the paperwork in a very soggy glove box said it had been purchased less than 2 hours before. "Karen" decided to make a complaint about it, when the dash cam showed her flying through my flare line and past me into the water, well the complaint was closed as unfounded thankfully or a combination of the department and I could have been liable for the cost of the vehicle damages, which were in excess of $80k. And that was more than 10 years ago now, still miss the job from time to time. But I'll never miss dealing with people like her.

To all those managers, this was a masterclass in man managment, Ron yes is the owner of the business, and usually on here we see Ron in charge. but this was Mikes recovery, Ron who has employed and trained Mike, he also has respect, this Mike's recovery he just stood back and watched and assisted when needed, even saying the the officer "I came to help Mike", setting out the rigging and lighting, picking up trash and generally being number 2. Ron as ever you are an inspiration to us all, you never pretend to be perfect, but you do strive for excellence. As ever thank you, stay safe God Bless.

Not that he needed it, but at times it's good to have the extra help even if its not needed its welcomed like pulling that 2×4 or while loading & securing. It helped him clear quicker. At times you never know you need the hell till a. help gets there & gived you s hand or b. You realize a bit too late you need more help & the help is 20-30min away. So great job Mike & Ron. clearly, Mike knows what he is doing. Door does not latch, he comes up, wastes no time, pocket knife already open and goes straight for the latch mechanism to check if it is jammed shut. A jiggle here a door slam there and a pat on the door handle at the right moment and it's done, door is latched. That's a 10 out of 10 in my book!

Mikey came a long way. I am proud to see how much he picked up already and how he can run it all on it's own. Love to see the human crowbar in action. I hope you well recovered form your ammonia. It looks like you fully did. Next time put a wheel block under the rear tire while you winch slowly . Them rubber one works like excellent and helps the tire to dig in and to flip the truck quicker. You could also use a 4*4 3-4' to get the pull leverage but I prefer the wheel block kicked under the tire those ABS rubber are acting like a curb. I send you $10 to help you out with your channel and work. You always be so kind so it's time I give back when I can do too.

At a former job I was the safety manager for a fleet of 180 mixed vehicles. (Vans and small buses) I would respond to our accidents, and document everything, investigate the cause, and do all the follow up work. Since I didn't always get to park in a great place, I installed amber lights behind my grill and in my back window for better visibility. The first time my boss actually showed up to an accident he was more concerned with how he could get amber lights than he was in helping at the scene. If it has been on its side, oil will be in all sorts of places in the engine, including perhaps cylinder bores. Would need to be cranked with no plugs in to ensure the engine isn't trashed when attempted to start. Given a half-decent engine is something insurers like when it comes to selling on the wreck, best to just leave alone.

it depends on how long it was on its side but if it had good piston rings oil wouldntr have got in and been just fine over the winter a lady was gonna hit me and to save her car i put mine in a ditch it went on its side my seatbeltdidnt lock no airbags diployed i smacked my hip on the center console and my face on the dash and steering wheel i didnt have insurance so it was totaled the tow driver were rookies and when towwing it out of the ditch i had to hold the rear of the car down so it didnt roll even helped them winch it needles to say the point is we got it on flat ground it fired right up so we could use the power steering to help get it on the truck the tow company sold the car to pay for the tow fee and i had to walk 30miles home with amessed up neck it hurt like hell but it is what it is id rather get hurt then someone else or someone elses property or vehicle get damaged in this case it was probably ok to start just like the nissan that he recovered that slid into the water but liability wise he can not start it

Better watch it quick before YT decide to take it down because it shows scenes of reality.

RUclips moderating system is a bitch since several months... Takes down 100% legit videos that passes all ToS and SHOULD be 100% fine but still gets taken down...

Good evening from Western Australia. Around 8pm Friday night is when I look forward to your videos. Mike looks like he had somewhere else to be that night. Working a x2 thw pace. I'm sure he works at that speed even when your not there, which means he is the perfect employee. Hooks in and get a the job done, no f***ing around

Mike did a good job. It’s interesting to follow along and see them as trainees and then qualified out on their own. I might’ve missed it in a past video not sure, but I haven’t seen your son-in-law in quite a while is he doing OK is he still working with you?
