    Just trying to tame the cylinders to get better control over the discharge chute directional control.
    This will work for many different applications. We add flow control valves!! to control the speed of movement

    First thing I did with my used tractor with leaks all over the hydraulics, was to remove every damn bit of teflon tape the previous owner put on...I agree, it is the kiss of death...

      The issue is the flow rate. This is what the flow controls are overcoming. It's using the relief to dump off the excess flow. As you know the best way is to slow the pump but that means slowing the motor. These tractors do not have metering spools, so rather than ad an auxiliary valve bank the flow controls were the cheapest and easiest

    Think the flow control valves are installed in the wrong flow direction. There’s a flow diagram typically on the side of the valves, take a look.

      Flow control out of a cylinder not in. The flow control produces resistance. This is the best control

    Hey there.
    I have the same blower on my McCormick Tractor. Do you put any lubricant on the rack and pinion gear system that turns the chute? Something that won't just wash off.
    Thanks !

    • @JimsNBHomestead
      @JimsNBHomestead  2 года назад +1

      I don't think it would make a difference really chain lube spray would definitely not do any harm

      @@JimsNBHomestead Ok thanks, 👍 nice job slowing down the Chute I have the same issue. I can never set the deflector it's either all the way up or it curls way down at the ground, to get it to stop half way is a struggle !
