I’d say this due to ergonomics and quality control given that sar all be it out of Turkey has had a lot of time in firearms manufacturing for nato military and law enforcement backgrounds and the testing that has been done on the sar 9 line of pistols. I’ve shot both but personally own a sar 9 full-size for transparencies sake.
The fact that this rep had to balls to pretty much lie in front of this famous guntuber saying they have had 150,000 rounds through one of the guns without a part change is absolutely Ludicrous. I have made my time very dedicated to watching reliability and durability pistol reviews so i can get a good understanding one the pure quality of the build of these guns. And id say HK is on the upper end of that and the most i think i have heard a HK pistol go is like 60k maybe more with out part change in even i believe it was the p30 they made changes to it because it had a part break at 40k so they beefed it up more to make it go more. That was a crazy statement that this man made! No question i do believe these are well built guns and u do get a lot for your money but 150k claim is out of this world insane and was probably either a lie or well a lie!! and if proof comes out down the road and these do have the ability to go that long without issues then every fucking one should put old glock down and pick one up. Ill have one soon when the socoms are realest and ill start my testing lol. Love TFBTV i learn a lot from this channel! TFBTV dives deep into manufacturers and i love that!!
I’m really surprised everyone’s acting this way about this statement. Not saying the 150,000 is true or false but literally every review video from them and a few other guntubers has stated this test was done. Even if it’s a lie they’ve been regurgitating it since the first gen was released. Kind of late for the outrage but I get it.
Very good firearms for the money, liking the new flat face trigger and night sights. Also like the chassis FCG which is not for lightweights to service. SAR doesn't yet have the Glock OEM and aftermarket support. Wish SAR would have kept the safety on the compacts, probably removed it on the behalf of squawking armchair Rambos.
The original Sar 9 is advertised to have been put through the 150k round count, whether that's true or not I'm not certain. I own one and it's great, compares to a Glock 17.
Seems that the interviewee needed the interviewer to help him explain his product, not impressed. Something that cost several hundred dollars varies in price simply by color? Try again. The buyer base is sick and tired of petty markups for slightly different variants. I don't see anything here that my canik cannot do, at a more competitive price.

@transtubular Because I already have one, and have zero interest in another.
This or the Tisas PX-9 that takes 226 mags...?
I’d say this due to ergonomics and quality control given that sar all be it out of Turkey has had a lot of time in firearms manufacturing for nato military and law enforcement backgrounds and the testing that has been done on the sar 9 line of pistols. I’ve shot both but personally own a sar 9 full-size for transparencies sake.
The PX9 gen 3 takes 226 mags. Not sure about previous generations.
The magazines are also reasonable prices and available on their website at a better price point than I often find 226 mags
Probably a toss up, both Sar and Tisas make pretty high quality stuff. It will mostly be a matter of whichever feels better in your hand.
I don't like how he LIED saying SAR is an American company. They are a Turkish company.
I've got 200k rounds through my G19 without a hiccup or a single part swapped... "not a joke!"
"it's just a great gun I don't know..." not first time triggercon, but these guys need a bit training.
Hey if multiple sources are saying its legit then im excited to own own one soon@@georgepeak861
150.000 rounds and American made. Muy interesante
American Imported :)
My only issue is that they added an optics cut but no ambidextrous slide release. Even Glock does that these days.
I don't like holes in my firearms.
But speed holes makes it cooler fo yo IG pics
SAR, hire me for your next show!! I'll BRING IT!!
Represent Turkey, no thanks!
@@Phone-sh7jg That is a good point. I'm merely speaking from a marketing perspective.
Any variants with a manual thumb safety coming soon for the MicroSubcompact or the Compact?
the 150k rounds is def bs. I own a SAR B6p and carry it a lot because of how much i trust it. Still bs lie
👍
👍🏻👍🏻🍺🍺
I’m sure it’s reliable and a good go to option, but 150k rounds come on man. I bet it has a near 25/30k round life.
The original Sar 9 is advertised to have been put through the 150k round count, whether that's true or not I'm not certain. I own one and it's great, compares to a Glock 17.
@@KrankyYankyee they’re a great Glock/Canik Alternative for sure.
For that price...yeah, no. I can get 2 PSA Daggers.
"JAG"
Just another Glock
150,000 rounds through a single handgun without having to change any parts. 2:20. You heard it here first folks. The boldest lie of Triggercon.
I seen a SAR 9 being used in Ukraine covered in mud and he mag dumps it into a bunker! It definitely runs in mud!
Is TriggrCon the dumping ground for turkish firearms? Jeez
I really like 2 of these pistols, but the triggers are hideous. Don't care for the look at all. Put a normal trigger on them and I would buy several.
These days an pistol needs ambi controls, im lefty.
Sarsilmaz makes a lot of great guns but for some reason I don't like the Sar9. It is not appealing to me!
