Finished Maus I and II. Great story and illustration. Also received Henderson’s Rain King and read chapter one tonight. So far it’s very good.
I am glad that you liked Maus. I love the two stories. There is the war story and the sub-text of the father's psychology. It is a brilliant book. Your thoughts are appreciated. Lots going on. I have created a forum for us to connect and interact. Also, much in my mind about Henderson. I have a pretty extensive library and hope to introduce readers to some great books. Thank you again for your participation.
Chris Reich I liked how the author wove in his family experience along with his fathers experience of being an extermination camp survivor. Outstanding series, sad for it to end. I would recommend ‘Night’ by Elie Wiesel and if you like graphic novels ‘A Sailors Story’ by Sam Glanzman. Both are excellent excellent

It's a fun book. I would like others to see that the top class books are not necessarily difficult.

Chris Reich Maus is excellent....Superb. Maybe at some point you can do it on the channel as well? I ordered The Rain King and expected arrival is next Monday. I’m going to put my Nietzsche Beyond Good and Evil and Dostoevsky The Idiot on the back-burner for now.
