Malia you have such a delightful personality
I totally changed my diet to carnivore 6 months ago and Im feeling great, I would suggest reading book called The 21 Former doctor secrets by Rachel Morgan, she opened my eyes about industry
omg I love that book ! I highly recommend it to everyone
props to dr. Rachel she is so amazing!
wow Im so curious now
I have to read this, thanks for sharing
I’ve been carnivore only since 2017. So going on 7 years now. Zero deficiencies. I started it to cure my type 2 diabetes. My blood glucose went from an hourly avg of 250 to 85, measured every waking hour. And that happened in the first 24 hours. Diabetes is a sugar problem, not a fat problem. 4 months later confirmed cures by an HbA1c of 5.5% down from 11.8%. CURED.
Also reversed my cancer. It began to shrink twice as fast as it had been growing. NO MORE CANCER. This is a well known side effect of not eating carbs for a very long time now. Dont feed cancer what it needs, and it dies. It must have sugar to ferment for fuel. Dont eat carbs, starve the cancer. Cancer goes away. And in no particular order, cured the following problems I had for at leadt 20 years….
- Kidney stones gone. At least one per month for at least two years before starting carnivore. GONE.
- IBS gone
- Asthma gone
- Arthritis gone
- Seasonal allergies gone
- Mouth ulcers, previously about 3 or 4 times a year would erupt, making it very painful to even drink water, and eating was near impossible. GONE!
- Yeast infections/heat rash/candida GONE
- mental clarity! What an understatment!!!!
- weight loss from 250 pounds to 190 pounds in 30 days. 60 pounds in one month! Hell yea!!
- skin problems cleared up. Looked like psoriasis, never was diagnosed, but it went away, and has not returned.
All of those things happened within the first couple of months or faster. I did not expect to have any affect on anything but diabetes. So I was pleasantly surprised. I am not going back to plants. For any reason. I take only vitamin D3 supplements because I get so little sun. And I eat about 10,000 mg of salt a day. All other supplements are ZERO. Nada. Zip. Zilch. And I have bloodwork down at least once a year. Pisses of the docs at the V.A. For sure. They want me to take statins. I tell them to F-off. And where they can stick their statins.
What the hell, here is my blood work for last year.

Cheat meals just remind me that I'm doing the right thing. I feel so physically bad after eating processed junk food.
Its not even that nice to eat! Often its the anticipation of hyper palatable food that makes us go for it. I was out with friends a while back and had KFC - after not eating any for ages, I was like "How did I even like this before" xD
I've gone off carnivore and I felt HORRIBLE the following day. For some reason, it seems like I need a reminder lol (luckily it's rare).
I even get bad results from very basic "cheat" foods now. Most bread will certainly do it. A lot of seasonings will as well. I naturally prefer just a nice salt anyway though.
Not me... I've been "carnivore" for little over 2 months but sometimes my body wants a big bowl of mashed potatoes and I feel great after I eat it.
Eating foods other than animal products isn't all "processed junk food".
It's like giving a cigarette to someone who stopped smoking
I'm almost 11 months carnivore. I reversed fatty liver, diabetes and diverticulitis. I've suffered from panic attacks and depression for years. I no longer take any medications!! Meat heals💪🥩

@@mohammadnajjar3114A carnivore diet doesn't make a lot of waste because it is so nutrient dense. It is normal to have bowel evacuation every 2 to 3 days or longer. It's important to eat a lot of healthy fats to make evacuation smooth, painless and easy. How do you define constipation?
So happy to hear❤🎉 im so excited to start! Do you have tips on when you go out with family/friend outings? I see where ordering meat wont be an issue if its a restaurant but i am worried about sweet treats. Like me and my family often go get ice cream, etc. I dont mind making my own to take with me from heavy cream and honey, but i heard honey is bad for carnivore, is that something youve eliminated from your lifestyle change?
You look very good
I haven't cheated once in 12 months of carnivore. I'm not even sensitive to carbs, I just don't want this addiction in my life anymore.
I understand you so much. I know if I touch carbs, I will eat 10 kilos immediately. 😂 It's dangerous.
I have a theory that even when we don't immediately notice any negative effects from carbs they are silent killers and doing major damage. Eventually we reach a point where we feel it. Knowing what we know it's probably wise to greatly reduce or quit all carbs.
Me too. 366 days Carnivore. No cheats because I have a big *WHY*. Do you have a why also?
Bet your wifes glad.
I don't call it cheating but since I have recovered from veganism I can eat vegetables. But maybe I need to rethink that even though I grow the veggies myself.
"I'm refusing to give up almost a year on Carnivore. Despite struggling with chronic pain, mental health challenges, & super morbid obesity, I'm pushing forward no matter how much it hurts with God on my side, determination & grit. I'm working hard on my fitness journey & creating content for RUclips. Malia and Kerry God bless you & awesome work.
What are you eating? You shouldn't have that pain on Carnivore.
@@andredaedone5 was thinking that. Also if your a year in it should be pretty easy now. Also goin back to that poisonous food will make them worse
What is your diet? Try 100% rare / medium rare steak.
You can get chick rolls for $4 / lb and process them easily. 2 lbs of meat a day for $8
@@CarnivoreThePowerofHealing have you looked into iodine or thiamine deficiency? some of us that are dealing with chronic illnesses need some supplements at the beginning of carnivore.. check out Dr Elizabeth Bright and Eliot Overton, both have channels on RUclips
If you're a year or more into it and still have these issues there are ONLY two possibilities:
(1) You are doing it wrong ...
OR
(2) Whatever your issues are, they aren't diet related.
I was poisoned by glyphosate while working as an Engineer from 1996 to 2003 in cornfields building manufacturing plants. We were always around the stuff because the farmers sprayed it, I could smell it in my clothes and in my car every day. By 2003 my health started to deteriorate in a way that I saw as 'ageing' related stuff, IBS, brain fog, dizziness, anxiety. By 2018 I had lymphoma. I recovered, but still had a lot of gut related issues, brain fog, dizziness, etc etc. I went the elimination route and kicked alcohol, then sugar and then fell on carnivore on July 2023. By November '23 all of the age related stuff had gone away.
Now, I am free of all that crap. Age 57, feel like I am 23. Strong, muscular, lean, agile, sharp minded, quick witted excited about the future. A friend asked me to be his personal trainer. I said you must change your diet first or I'm wasting your time. He went animal based and lost 19 pounds in 30 days while gaining 30% increase in strength in the gym. He looks like a new person, same results as Kerry here. I can even see it in his eyes...they sort of 'sparkle' with life. Its real. Our microbiome is our life. Its everything. We must treat it that way.
So happy for your transformation!
You didn’t know better stay away from that smell during 7 years?
Such a great recovery. ❤
So glad you got better and now helping others
Same age as you. Carnivore 3 years and feel like I'm in my 20s also.
I went on carnivore and felt beyond amazing. Silly me, I felt like I was missing out not eating the fun stuff. My husband told me one day. "I have never seen someone become such a different person after eating sugar." He told me I become angry and have such a change in personality. I knew he was right. I didn't like hearing it, but I could feel it. After eating certain foods, I felt hot and irritable. I would get upset. My stomach would swell. I felt out of control. Maintaining in front of people became difficult. The next morning, I always felt better because the hours while sleeping without food almost felt like a do over an actual reset. As the day went on, I was right back to hating my life and feeling sick. I decided to love myself more and fight for a better life for me! Health is so important. ❤ Thank you
Sugar is poison. That's why my heart goes out to the kids who have major meltdowns soon after their parents allow them to have it.
@jhenyalovering41 you are so right. I've seen it in my friends children.
Keep on keeping on Kimberly. Sugar addiction is nasty. Thank goodness we have an ‘out’. 👋🏻🇦🇺
❤
Exactly what happened to me! Besides all those benefits I've lost 20k/40lb in under 6 months, without starving.
My severe restless leg syndrome disappeared and my constant leg cramps went away when I change my diet to only eating meat and my shaky hands stopped shaking too. No sugar, no carbohydrates........only meat and butter, Himalayan salt and water. It was an amazing feeling to not spend hours fighting with my legs to go to sleep night after night.
Symptoms of b1 and b12 issues. Try some supplements for a good year for a boost.
No thanks. No restless legs means falling to sleep right away. Not having leg and toe cramps waking me up every morning. No more supplements.
I take whole food vitamin and mineral for folate, omega3, iodine, and other micronutrients that may be lacking in my grocery store generic meat.
@@ActivateMission2ThisTimeline
What vitamin do you take?
This is basically what dissuades me from cheating(still cheat here and there): I know what's coming afterwards. I can still cheat with maybe 100 to 200 calories worth of carbs, but if I overdo it I know what I am in for.
I like when Malia says that you can rewire your brain. There is hope for those who struggle.

Thank you for sharing this , I'm 5 months strict Carnivore, my journey is very difficult, I've been sick for 9 years, different autoimmune issues, gut issues, I'm still not fat adapted, I'm still not feeling well,. I'm so jealous of people that feel so much better in just a few weeks. It's hard but I'll hang in there.
Hmmm 5 months is long time not to be fat adapted
Maybe you have an underlying issue like CIRS or an environmental toxin, like mold poisoning, that is preventing your healing.
I’ve been carnivore for 7.5 years, but I tend to cheat about every few months and that can take weeks to get back on the wagon. I finally put a separate fridge in the pantry for hubby and have my own cabinet with just my salts and tallow and ghee. No more cheating.
@@kiwikim5163 I don’t want to be sick again which stops me from cheating. I was on 230 units Tresiba when I started carnivore 2-1/2 years ago and haven’t taken anything in almost 2 years.
If it is the healing diet your husband should eventually catch on...
@@kiwikim5163 the key as said is the gut biome. If you add proper ferments like kimchi, sauerkraut and kefir to your “carnivore” diet not only your health will improve but actually you will be fine eating carbs once in a while. Is not cheating is life. Maybe time to heal the relationship with food. As Carnivore influencer says compare to what? So yes Carnivore is definitely better than SAD diet. And if you lose weight definitely your health will improve, not necessarily because of Carnivore but because the lost weight. Not advice try it on your own. Biodiversity is key. It would be great if the information was backed by empirical data rather than opinions. Middle path tends to be more healthy in life that is no extremes. (In my view an experience, I am sure I am totally delusional for many in the Carnivore community got kicked out for talking about the gut biome and look now, we are talking about it …)

Carnivore zen...
My wife has complained that I am not as social since I went carnivore (13 months).
She's right and this explains it. There are people who I avoid and didn't know why.
Hi chris….you do you
That's a beautiful aspect of the carnivore effect. I am much less triggered by anyone in public, but this was after years of mentally training myself not to be toxic or aggressive towards ignorant people, eating meat and eggs seems to be the best way to simply forget to be upset by it. I'm actually more social at work, which helps maintain a healthy work environment, and I make more money (I am a server and bartender, so it's my job to be social and engaging). Having the mental clarity to emotionally slow because I'm not socially anxious (because I don't have to mask as much to maintain my composer), makes being open more comfortable and I enjoy it more (and I'm an extrovert, but I'm also neurodiverse). It helps regulate my mental stability, emotional calmness and balance (being able to mentally regulate with lots of personality types at work), which allows me to make genuine emotional connections with people (and I love love ❤️). Enjoy whatever zen it gives you 🥰
I had brain damage for 17 years. From nutrition and learning over the years I've been healed. The Bible was a big factor as I was in many healing prayer ministry sessions. So, nutrition helped so much ans I thank the Lord. And now, I'm heading towards carnivore for an even better life. I'm finally making money as an aqua fitness instructor and a writer. I can buy food, get my car fixed, and now be
specific about what foods I buy. I am so grateful. Beyond. 🙏
Amazing! God Bless you 💯🙏🏻
Thank You for sharing, that is encouraging!

"healing prayer ministry sessions" did not helped. Carnivore diet helped but you still "thank the Lord". Lol! Dude, your brain is still damaged!
I like being the healthy unicorn in my family, friends, acquaintances lives. I am proud to call myself a Carnivore and have no problem refusing crappy food and drink. It actually interests people and they start asking questions, especially as I look remarkably fit and healthy at 62.
You found a key to quality of Life. 😊
I wouldn't be surprised if serotonin producing gut bacteria only live on fat and protein: ever since I went carnivore 2 months ago, I, for the first time in my life - and I'm 56 - feel content just BEING.
No need to leap tall buildings to get that dopamine rush!
I can actually not care if I lose an argument or if someone is being obnoxious - that's HIS or HER problem, not mine!
I just learned that anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds damage the colon. I learned the GUT controls anxiety and depression, not the brain. And those meds along with NSAIDS are the major reasons behind gut issues along with proton-pump meds.
@@lydialedbetter2041 Seems like TPTB have known about all this for a long time and have been GASLIGHTING us into thinking vegies are good for us - no wonder depression is such a widepsread phenomenon!

I am in the middle of my third week on carnivore. I have had zero cravings or physical withdrawals. At the completion of week two my little girl and I made strawberry short cake cupcakes for her birthday party. As I thought about the long game I’m playing here, I thought, “I think it will be alright if I enjoy a cupcake in celebration of my daughter turning 5. I mean it’s made with freshly milled organic wheat, coconut sugar, farm fresh eggs, raw milk and cream cheese, home made vanilla extract. It’ll be fine.”
The next morning I woke up with a painfully sore throat, bright yellow mucus all throughout my sinuses, and my gums and jaw were swollen and sore.” It has been four days and I’m still not at 100%. Hopeful for tomorrow and grateful for the feedback that my body gave me. It wasn’t worth it. I didn’t need it, my body wasn’t craving it. It was a completely emotional thought.
Dont feed it to your little girl either
Indeed ! Let us stop worshipping the sugar plum fairy ! Let us NOT eat CAKE ! @@brendahinz1203 Valid question. And, I can appreciate that you are farther along on this carnivore journey than I am. This was the first experience that brought me to awareness of this impact. After having this experience, I do not plan to continue past behavior. My children have observed me go through this reaction. They got to experience a week of mama not being tired, and having an increased capacity, and now having to recover from a poor choice. I am not doing this alone. I cheated yesterday by eating a burger with a bun and had some fruit. Not only did i sleep like shit, today I've been to the toilet more than 7 times. "but meat is bad for you...." smh
For several reasons on these latest weeks, I've cheated way more than usual! Lo & behold bad sleeping, stomach issues, gases... They all stroked back! What about that. The best way to convince one self to DON'T cheat. Is precisely by cheating and see all the crappy things come back!!
It convince me right away to straighten up! BTW I call carnivore a MIRACLE. Yes, with capital letter. ;-)
I feel you... Wedding reception last weekend. So much inflammation, terrible sleep, terrible energy, why do I do this to myself lol
Most places will lettuce wrap the burger, and maybe ask for them to use butter or lard if they are a fancy place and you have issues they’ll probably accommodate.
Having recently started carnivore what I found -even after just 2 days- was that my body and mind felt really calm. Bloating and wind -gone. Headaches -gone. Sinusitis -gone.
I never realised cheat days could be so detrimental, 2 years to completely clear the bad bacteria? Damn, i feel terrible now since i was strict last year for 10 months and messed up for a couple weeks, and this year strict for 6 months, and just messed up for a couple days, i feel like such an idiot now.
Don't stay there!! Move forward...we can do this...learning is the answer! I've gotta be better also. ❤
It's not your fault. And now you know what's happening and gained another tool to deal with such thing! Stay strong 💪
Neat trick, if I have a certain food addiction, I buy alot of it and eat too much to a point of almost sickness. After that my cravings are gone. My problem was donuts. Have not had one for a year now! Regards
Don't believe everything you hear from one single person, and do your own investigations. This was all nonsense, your microbiome adapts within a day or two. Don't believe me, but do your research.
At least with this way of eating, if we stumble, get right back on the trail.
Thank you so much for this information. I started 2 months ago and i'm 95 percent carnivore and 5 percent keto. I had clinical depression when I was prescribed Zoloft and was on it for 5 years! Wasn't sad crying but wasn't ever really happy or excited which is my real personality.
After some professional Christian counseling I came to the realization that the stress of my dad dying, my loveless 14 year marriage wasn't the reason for my depression. My guts were churning, I was eating anything for comfort, gained a lot of weight. Doctor put me on synthoid for my thyroid ( on it for 8 years, blood tests every 6 months, finally in covid year doctor tells me my numbers have been good for the last few years 🤪 took me off synthoid and wanted to put me on cholesterol medicine 💊! What?! I said, I'll change my diet and I'm exercising, I'm quitting cigs, I'm not taking cholesterol medicine)

Yes, for a large family of 7 children! I have 8 children myself and 31 grands. I feel amazing after 2.5 years Carnivore at age 67. This video would also be a good opportunity to point out the benefits of fasting and how it has even more benefits than even eating carnivore every day... since when fasting you are not only not getting any sugars but you are allowing your whole digestive system to rest and the body and brain will go into overdrive on healing.
But it takes 4 weeks to kill this pathogenic bakteria as this woman said, fasting 4 weeks is very hard and dangerous(my max fasting 5 days)

Dang... this one really hit hard. For me, not making a big deal of having a cheat day once in a while helps me stay committed mentally, knowing i'll always return to my home base of carnivore, no matter what. I figure it helps me avoid spinning into an uncontrolled binge where i just feel like i blew it anyway so why bother? Disordered eating i've been struggling with my whole life. But 2 years with a little starch?! That's insane...
Cheat days for me might mean going back to sugar and alcohol addiction. So I don’t.
I don't do cheat days as a rule but just the fear fact that a little starch will set me/my gut two years back is a bit intense. I once accidental ate some peanuts, walked past a bowl of peanuts and raisins at my Mom's and just took a handful without thinking.. enjoyed them and then eek I realised what I had done.. too late. Then last Sunday ate out with the family and my plate had some lettuce tomato and cucumber. I just ate it all (been carnivore for 2.5 years) now I am like sherbet was there carbs I those salad things... And what else have I been doing to sabotage my poor gut... Occassional milk, cream, and cheese There's carbs in those... So blah I am undone
We love to tell ourselves stupid theories so we can indulge. If you’re honest, a cheat day is nothing but a backward move.
@@rozbailey6889 I’ve learned that accepting you’ll make mistakes and not being overly ashamed makes it much more likely to get back on track when you do. Otherwise, if you expect perfection from yourself, when you do inevitably slip up, you’ll feel like you’ve betrayed your entire identity, and that shame may throw you off track for a long time.
@@wavepotterwellness This. We cannot expect perfection from anyone, including ourselves. It may not be wise for some people to allow frequent "cheat days" depending on their habits, but none of us should be so self-righteous that we don't allow a single mistake in our diet. Thank you so much for this interview; it has shed light on why I am struggling with an ongoing skin condition and dandruff and why it may take longer to heal when so many other things have already been completely resolved. I am 11 months into Carnivore but I realise now that perhaps it will take 2 years or more to completely heal my microbiome. I have recently discovered that my skin has improved once I started eating more fat, but not meat fat but instead grass-fed butter and in just a few weeks, it is making such a difference. Clearly the bacteria in my gut have been craving butter fat as I was avoiding dairy totally for so many months. I am now eating a lot more butter each day, and dry skin problems are also disappearing, which is a first in years. Thank you again for all that you do.😀
Carnivore labs 10 days ago. Cholesterol 216 - HDL 59 - LDL 142 - Triglycerides 77 - Vitamin D 107 and drum roll please - fasting Insulin 3.8
David Dad, drumroll
DDDDDDDDDDDD!
That looks so great! Good triglycerides good HDL excellent vitamin D. How long have you been carnivore?
I just got my first lot of results, been on carnivore for 3 months. I don’t understand what is good, but my overall cholesterol is 269, HDL 55, Triglycerides 74. So comparing to you I think I am doing ok?
Wow, vitamin D is great. What exactly do you eat? A lot of lard or something? 😮
David, excellent! 👏
There's still room for improvement in the hdl to triglycerides ratio (higher hdl to lower triglycerides is more beneficial). Keep taking care of your health, happy carnivoring! 🥩
Temind of an old indian legend: we have two wolves within us. A good and kind one and an evil one. Which one grows the most? The one you feed the most. Good bacteria vs bad bacteria.
Ah-ho
From the evolutionary perspective of a couple of million years: when our hunter-gatherer ancestors walked by a patch of blueberries, they did not say "I'm a carnivore, I'm not going to eat this". Instead, they gorged themselves, of course. Same with wild honey and other fruit and tubers. Hence, calling having some carbs "cheating" is our modern fixation on rules and guidelines and strictness, etc.
Now I admit that some people may have so much damage to their gut and loads of harmful biome that they have to stick to pure carnivore. Also, yes, the fruit in the store are sugar bombs with negligible nutrition. Yet when I go backpacking, watch me enjoy the raspberries, huckleberries, persimmons, etc. Yum!
That's exactly right
Can you share what you eat on a multiple night backpacking trip as a carnivore? Very curious about this as it’s something I’d like to do. Not sure how to make it work.
@@wormholefarms1565 Ah, a great question. Here is what I bring: canned sardines and cod liver, salmon pouches from REI, Kerrygold butter (they have a nice plastic container that lasts some 6 days) or Ghee butter, some beef jerky and dried sausages from Lowfeld Soul Food, some sheep cheese, like Manchego. I also bring about 4-6 eggs. And, where it is OK to make campfires, I bring pre-packaged ribeye or NY strip in a tight plastic pouch (Whole Foods or Natural Grocers sell these) - it’s not exactly like canned food, yet it keeps for some days, especially if frozen before heading out. And then broil on the fire . Then, Wild Zora sells some freeze-dried meals that are close enough to Paleo/Carnivore. And fried pig skins for snacks - they have much volume yet very light. Much of the time there is something out there to forage yet if not, I bring some dried blueberries from REI for snack. And some dark chocolate, yeah.
I'm on my day 20 into carnivore and i can feel my intestine is struggling. Bad bacteria is obviously against my diet. I hope i can combat those bad guys and repopulate it with good ones. 😊
You will! My first month was rough. Had bad diarrhea at times. 6 months in I've never felt better and my bowel movements are glorious every time.
Thank you 😊 @@papertowel9490

I ate horrible food and my sisters house yesterday and at a eight-year-old’s birthday party😢 i’m typically so good about my diet, I had to do so many things to try to reverse the symptoms. It helped, but didn’t completely reverse them. I did enema. I took activated charcoal vitamin B one and apple cider vinegar water.

@@pluckybellhop66hello p..so true …I need a lot of work
Thank you for the interview. Been on carnivore for 4 years and learned a ton from Dr Shawn Baker’s private community. He speaks of the micro gut. He relates that it mostly resides in the colon. That being said, people have their colon removed all the time and still life a healthy life. When you’re eating a meat diet your small intestines digest the food. That is just what I’ve heard from Dr Shawn Baker.
I'm primarily carnivore but I'm not a cultist about it. I'll have pizza every now and then, but next day I am back on board. Important thing is being consistent 90-95 percent of the time. Perfection doesn't exist.
What a GREAT interview. Thank you, Kerry.
That was so interesting and informative. I really wish I knew some carnivores in person, but alas I only communicate with them on here and group forums, so only talk in general, and most of them are in the USA, and I'm in the UK. Most of my friends eat the standard western diet and a few are vegetarians, they think I'm a bit weird, I think. Even though they can see the many improvements I've had to my health in the four short months I've been a carnivore. Quite a few are on medication for one thing or another, whereas I'm on none now, I was on over ten medications before.
UK here too, my fam thinks I'm mad but the results speak for themselves, meds dropped, weight dropped, inflammation gone. RLS gone. I still battle with treats, but they don't help my brain wants them the body says no. I've since discovered I cannot eat bread, that was a game changer, and milk. My get up and go was none, its coming back, and I'm about 16 months in. My stomach was bleeding I had a camera down Sept 21 I took no meds to help, but ginger & hot water first thing in the morning. Stomach is rock solid now. I had RA/FM do I still have it? I don't know.
That's great! Keep stressing how great you feel not having to take any meds. Eventually maybe some will start to come around.
Hi Kent in UK as well and found this so helpful. Well done no meds !!
I still have cheat times and takes ages to get back on track. Makes sense now !! watched Joe Rogan and Jordon about 4 years ago it was when he talked about depression and that was my trigger to go carnivore. also pre diabetic Now medication free, not chubby anymore and more in control, will certainly stop cheating. Ps my family and friends think I'm nuts but I just know how much better I feel.
Be great if we had carnivore restaurants to meet fellow meat lovers but sadly would encourage more riots!!!
Me too. Lone Carnivore here. 🙋♀️ These channels are needed.
Interested on your kicking your meds journey.
I'm just 3 days in & have meds I want off of too. Tapering on one as we speak. No withdrawals (I think).
🔥 Malia is one of the top 3 informational guests you've had! Fantastic interview!! I'm listening again to try to absorb all that I can. Thank you!!!! 🔥
Hands down, the best video I've seen in a very long time concerning carnivore! Blessings!
Agreed!!!
I have been a fan of carnivore for a couple years now.... but struggled to stay on it without cheating. Watching this has really opened my eyes to see where (when) I kept going wrong. This is fascinating! Thank you!!
I have had depression and put on Xanax and Zoloft when it first came out and the day they doubled my dosages I ended up overdosing 30 years ago. I had PTSD and panic attacks. I just fell off carnivore 4 days ago and last night my panic and anxiety and depression came on full force. This is no joke. Not just the sugar coma after eating but I feel so crabby. Two more days housesitting and I go back home alone where I do not have junk food in my apartment. I cannot wait to get back on carnivore. I am over my mood.
I have suffered from anxiety and depression since I was a child, I’m 31 now. PLEASE REPLY TO ME. Please help 🙏🏼 What do you eat? Please!! Thank you
Did you stop meds?
@@BrittanyRadford29did you find some help?
I am really struggling to stick to it. But I finally got off coffee and dairy. One day at a time. Food was everything. I loved baking from a young age and did that with my kids. They beg to bake with me again and it is so hard!!😢 Especially around the holidays. I have an autoimmune disease and I will stick with carnivore strict for a while until a holiday comes around, I’ll eat junk and then majority of my symptoms come back. So then I spend another month getting rid of them all over again. It’s disheartening. But I’m slowly learning this is my new life. I can’t keep going back. This video really helped show me why it is so important to stick with it. Thank you 🙏
Just when I was searching for info on this topic, within the hour no less. Awesome stuff.
3 full months in and going back to work. SLEEPING thru the night right to when I wake up SHOCKED that I woke in the same position I fell asleep in!
I've fallen to the cheat... I'm getting back on track cottage cheese was my big downfall... I know dairy just doesn't work for me .... But I so grateful for ALL your videos and your wife... You and other carnivore videos have kept me to get back on track Thank you... I know thank you doesn't seem strong enough to really mean how much you mean to my life and journey!!!!

Thank you Malia for putting your trust in God and the power of prayer. There are things in life that we cannot fix have to look up to God for comfort and healing.
I still enjoy my black coffee in the morning and a glass or two of red wine on the weekends. Life is too short not to live a little bit. I still eat carnivore the rest of the time
Exactly. Me too❤

I just can't give up my apple-a-day, after a high fat/protein meal. I heard that this cuts glucose spike way down. I'll get there some day, but currently it gives me joy. Have never had gut issues.
Excellent video, Kerry! ❤ I've learned so much since starting Carnivore, not to mention Malia today. My mind has been blown!

@EnlightenedCarnivore, I agree. This microbiome topic seems to be a huge key to figuring it all out.
It would be great if the world could make health science a priority in the same way as something like the Manhattan project. I guess it would require society to have a renaissance of truth, free of financial agendas and ideology....and group think which crushes debate and free will.
Honestly, @@zamfirtoth6441, for me health and nutrition has become simple. I eat only meat, eggs, and fresh cream...and let my body do it's thing. I don't really care about studies anymore. It's interesting, but what humans need to realize is that we are carivores...all the rest is bullshit. 🤷♂

This video was a Godsend. I am on day 21. Last night I had several dreams about being at family get togethers and eating food that I shouldn't. I didn't understand why until I saw this video. Thank you!!!
I've had several food cheat dreams..lol
Perfect timing! I'm going to a family reunion right now, and we're going to have lunch, but before that, I ate steak and eggs so I'm kinda full and don't make stupid food decisions. Luckily my family eats a lot of meat so I will still have options available, but they also eat a LOT of starchy products and bread
I have not ever heard this before. I'm shocked! However, I know that the big difference is not eating meat but that my gut is fixed by eating meat. I got to the point where I could hardly eat anything before I switched to carnivore diet. And I saw people slowly fade away and die on "healthy" plant based diets.
I was on carnivore last year because my doctor was about to put me on blood pressure medicine, my liver enzymes were elevated but not out of range, and my A1C was so high he was saying one more notch and you're a diabetic. Went from 224 lbs to 208 and my blood pressure and A1C went back to normal but my enzymes were still elevated. Had to have blood work done for my dermatologist a few months ago and liver enzymes were still elevated(not out of range), 3 months later they are back in the middle range. Now I'm having these damn Dr. Pepper cravings again!!
Incredible ,wow ,,,,,,,This interview gave me that light bulb moment .......made so much sense .Thankyou Kerry and Maria truly grateful x

Every time I cheated on Carnivore even a little bit just one snack would set me back it was like starting over every time finally after being on the lion diet for about a year everything was cleared up and I realized that any amount of cheating was detrimental to my health. You could give that food away to your neighbors. That’s what I did. I felt a little guilty, but I rationalized that they would be buying and eating those foods anyway. If you really believed in carnivore AND that carbs aren’t good for you, you wouldn’t wait. Just saying. I, myself, haven’t had issues eating fruits and vegetables-or even the occasional bite of dark chocolate-but you couldn’t get me to eat any of those combos of -dyed sugar, grains and seed oils.
Only a short way into this video, but so so interesting. Will need to listen again.
