You said it best. They have move on and in a sense so have I. I had a feeling in 2018 when they kept milking the Challenger and Charger that they would have to get the redesign right or people would leave in droves.
My biggest concern with anything EV is the longevity. Like with those batteries when they start to lose charge how much it will cost to replace? For long trips how long will it take to recharge them? If charging at home how much it will make your power bill go up? How can the power grid sustain this? It’s so many more.
That “car” they showed is so meh and me being a big B Body Charger fan it’s disrespectful to that car for how lazy they designed that “Charger” and they wanna say it pays homage to it. GTFO with that. I have a feeling their reveal will be lackluster. I’ll be tuning in to see your reaction.

I think the 300c and scatpack are going to become even more popular because the world is not ready for electrified car everyday hybrids maybe but full electric cars are not for everybody!!

Even if Dodge released the exact same thing that Tesla offers and made it half price I still wouldn’t buy it from Dodge. My 2021 DDHC (100k vehicle) hasn’t had software updates since it launched. You can’t get away with that anymore… the Uconnect 5 system is a buggy mess and they have zero intent on fixing it. Anyone buying an EV from Dodge (any stellantis offering really) is going to be dealing with nonstop software issues and next to no support from Dodge. At least Tesla will fix problems and release updates in a timely manner.

What if Stellantis is planning to sale Dodge and Ram and Jeep and Chrysler to Tesla in exchange for using Tesla EV technology and Stellantis merger with Tesla for Stellantis America, Elon Musk has proven Tesla is one in EVS and EV Technology in America .
I'm pretty sure that ev by dodge is gonna cost an arm and a leg further killing the name, which is a shame, but I don't see it releasing at a reasonable price point.
On another note I heard racerx say something that's obvious but I feel like enough people don't pay attention to, stellantis is a European company, the euro car market is very different from the American one. I highly doubt stellantis cares about what happens to dodge over here or the customer base. And to take things a step further into conspiracy theory territory, I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually do away with dodge at some point or rebrand it into a different company
