Dang bro , when i ordered a wb scatpack charger in 22, I went out the door with 59k. I got a sunroof, upgraded the bs performance tires, and rims. Man, i couldn't imagine buying anything in 24. Be happy with your car. We're working men with nothing to prove to anyone on the tube.

59k? I remember getting a brand new scat pack in 2015 for 38k out the door(4k in rebates). These cars are seriously overpriced now.
@nkodo22 Well, my first charger was in 07. Unfortunately, we're not in 2015, and definitely not in 2022. But 2024 is beyond me on top of markups and higher interest rates. My interest rate on my home and car together 6.96%. You got guys paying more than that for one loan. But we can put a question mark behind a lot of things 🤔.

My mortgage is not even $1500! I'm gonna wait till prices fall on Scat Packs to get one. 2 years if I have to. Lots of low mileage ones still out there.

I paid $200 deposit to order my 24 Mustang GT in Aug 23. It was the base way to keep the price under control although the prices are getting better now. I kept the total under 50K. Which kept my payment where I wanted it to be.
But cars in general are expensive as hell these days. Ppl fail to realize these chargers, challengers, mustang and etc come with high insurance rates especially if you’re young.
But you made the right decision for you and at the end of the day that’s the only thing that matters

Man at least you got a lot of subscribers and views. I've been doing youtube for like 6 years and just now 11 subs from 1,000 and I have four cars including a 2010 challenger rt. The algorithm only likes hearing the negative stuff. Something broke, somebody did you wrong or thinking about quitting youtube are what people actually watch more than 1 or 2 mins of. My content is actually fix stuff unlike a lot of channels. Just post what you want and people will still watch. Most people only tune in for the negative stuff and not the positive stuff. It just comes with the territory!
Very true. I know two guys that are in a world of hurt from buying a Hellcat and the other an M5. They couldn't afford them from the start.
Great Video, i notice riding by banks im seeing a lot of repos trucks and cars, these jokers letting dealership scamming them with monthly payments of $900+ for 72 months, then the insurance is through the roof those payments will seem like they're coming every 2 weeks, you did the right thing, when you drive it off the lot it depreciates like crazy.

I paid off an sxt and got a good down payment from it. That with good credit, and I only pay around 400 a month for my scat. My coworker on the other hand got a widebody redeye and is paying around 1600 a month. His car is amazing but there's no way I'd get a vehicle with a monthly payment that high.
Yeah there’s a ton of ppl driving these cars with shitty credit and no money down either. I put 10k down on my 24 Mustang GT along with good credit and I kept my payment right where I needed it to be.

Your dealership videos are great and I’d save maybe you should check out dodges competitors to see if they’re selling well and if they’re marking up their cars. It don’t hurt to check out ford or Chevy to see the sticker prices for their 2024 models and doing the same formula you do at the dodge dealerships. I actually did watch your last video in its entirety. It gave me a better understanding how to use the line lock on my 22 Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody. Which I still haven't tried yet 😅. In fact its that Smoke show gray you were talking about. I guess I'm a little nervous about trying because I don't want to run into a wall or something. Wise choice. My 2022 Redeye Challanger sits in the garage more than I drive it. You cant just take it anywhere and park it because it might be gone when you come out.

Man; my old insurance company did the same thing! I’ve had my Hellcat for 7 years already. As soon as my daughter got her license, they jacked my insurance up over $300. Saying she could have access to my Hellcat. Tried to tell them nobody in my house drives my Hellcat but me. My wife don’t even drive it! So I had no choice, but to switch up. Good thing; now I’m paying less with my daughter on than my old insurance without her on it! 👍🏾

Dodge Challengers are one of the slowest selling cars right now. You might be able to get a good deal on one now….like 20-30% below sticker. Even on Skatpacks and Hellcats.

Yo what’s hemi, yes I ordered and bought my Hellcat in 21’ from Waldorf Dodge and I might have the cheapest one ever $71k and paying $1200 and ins is $180 and the only reason I kept mine is bc I have 0% interest… for any one else please be patient and hope yall find a good used one…. Honestly, I say go the smart route and do a swap. It makes the most sense. $50k can get you a fully functional jailbreak redeye swap. $30k can easily get you a base hellcat swap done.
My sact was 40 in September of 2019… same thing off the showroom floor brand new.

Smart. I put myself in a bad spot when the XC90 first edition came out like 8 yrs ago. Someone defaulted on their loan and I just had to have it. The air suspension, the sound system, the polestar upgrade were nice but after paying 1200 a month, plus insurance, and mortgage i barely had enough to get drunk or high anymore. I lucked up when it caught fire. Got it paid off and was able to get a decent check as well. Lol. Was able to buy a car outright with the settlement check and then found a 14 300C srt8 for a decent price. Both cars ended up being a better value than that one unreliable ass Volvo. The damn thing stayed in the dealership for repairs. You prob would not have nowhere near the same issues that XC90 had(still has too from what current owners report) but you dodged a financial bullet by turning down that hellcat. Smart man

I just bought a 2023 Charger Hellcat Widebody maybe a month ago. These cars are not for everyone and you definitely need to make sure your finances are good! I didn’t even consider getting one until I had enough money saved/invested to buy it fully (never buy it fully), over 1 year of living expenses in my HYSA which is getting 5.5% APY, and a 20% down payment for the car just to reduce the amount financed. Way smarter to invest the money or at least keep it in a HYSA before buying it fully. All this to say. You got to pay to play and if you can’t pay without lowering your quality of life. DO NOT get a Hellcat. Scatpacks are more than enough and if you can go Widebody, even better 💯

When you showed what normal driving around DMV is like around 6:20 mark is why you shouldn’t regret not having a cat. Unless you take it to a track you will never be able to use all the power. 6.4 is plenty for sitting in gridlock in the DMV.

The Chrysler 300 C is a good car. It’s also recommended by Consumer Reports. And more practical than a Challenger.
I was looking at a used scat pack Dayton with 3k miles for 45k. I was putting 15k down my payments were guna be 500 for like 84 months lol. I didn't do it. I'm thinking a r/t is in my budget LoL
I just can’t see myself trying to afford something that’s way out of my budget. Maybe one day, I may even get something different at this point.

2,000 a month ? That's a mortgage bruh. Definitely not worth it Hemi. You could do a Hellcat motor , transmission,cluster, and PCM(donor car) swap on your 300 if you plan on keeping it long-term. It will come out even cheaper if you can rent a spot and do it yourself with some help. Unless you make 150,000 or more a year, it's just not worth it in my humble opinion.
Tell your followers to get the latest model Toyota hybrid they can afford and Uber/Lyft on the side..easy as crap to make a 1000.00 fast.

If the insurance was really an issue. You can sign a waiver for your daughter not to be covered on that car stating she will not be driving it. But make sure she actually doesnt drive it because she wont be covered. Also no good insursnce agent would assign her to that vehicle. She should be assigned to the oldest and cheapest vehicle on the policy as her primary vehicle which will lower the rate and she would still be covered if she drives anything else as an "occasional driver."

@HemiMuscle Definitely look into it. I'm in MD when I was a teenager my dad would always make sure they assigned me to his old pick up truck because it was the cheapest thing for a teen on the policy although I was mainly driving the 87 Cutlass with a big block in it!
Most people driving a Hellcat can't afford one. It's fairly easy to figure it out. If you can pay cash for it, you can afford it. If you make double the cost of the car in a year, you can afford it. Otherwise, you shouldn't be dropping that kind of money on a depreciating asset.
