    In printify, it says that you can only Include shipping cost in your retail price if you offer free shipping. How do you do this? Does this have anything to do with your shipping profile on Etsy?

    Thanks Mandy! I really appreciate it! I am just getting started on Etsy, just figuring things out. I am going to try the free shipping and see if that helps. I'm currently only shipping to USA and Canada, considering adding a few other places. If I left USA as free, and then Canada and the other places have a charge for shipping, do I lose out on the "FREE SHIPPING" badge that goes under your listing in search results? Or will that still appear for US residents/shoppers, but then not appear for Canada and the other countries? I'm curious because of how the free shipping can help give a boost from what I read. Thanks again!

      No worries! The free shipping guarantee is only tied to U.S. shipping, so you definitely can (and should) charge for other countries since it is so expensive to ship internationally 😊

      @@studiomdesignsco Thank you so much for the heads up! So glad you let me know, because I was considering making it free for the others just to stand out. You're totally right! It's crazy expensive! Thank you again! Looking forward to seeing more videos from you and your channel.

    What if we want to do free shipping for just one a few listings and others from the same print provider not

    If you do free shipping, who pays for the shipping costs? It must come out of my Printify balance right?
    If I don’t want to cover shipping costs, but I still want to offer free shipping, do you recommend passing the costs on to the customer by adding it to the product price? Or is it better to create a shipping profile where the customer pays for shipping?

      that is very good question, i still don’t get the solution. I asked Printify, they told me got to adjust the Retail Price. Then my next question is after i adjusted the retail price, the % margin looked as increased, but actually it was not true! Then, I stuck! 😢

      You will always get charged shipping by Printify. The difference is whether or not you charge the customer separately for shipping.
      I personally offer free shipping and raise my prices to cover it, but I know plenty of sellers that don’t.
      You can certainly charge the customer a separate shipping fee, but some sellers prefer to be able to say they offer free shipping, especially if you are on Etsy since you get a ranking boost from it. If you choose to offer free shipping though then you need to add the cost of shipping into your product price (raise the price that you charge your customer) so that you do not lose money on the sale.
      Regardless of which way you go, always make sure you’re covering your costs 😊 I recommend using an Etsy profit calculator so that you know your numbers.
      Hope that helps!

    It seems like shipping costs on Printify goes up every few months, does this sync with Etsy? Or do we have to update it manually each time? What's the best approach for free and not free shipping?

    Since I had customers paid for shipping before, and I just made free shipping profile on Etsy, do I have to go back to all my products on printify and change it all to free shipping ?? Or can I just change it to free shipping on Etsy?

    • @studiomdesignsco
      @studiomdesignsco  Год назад +2

      No need to change it in Printify! As long as you've changed the shipping profile in Etsy and then made sure that that's the profile assigned to your products (on the Etsy side), then you're good to go!

      @@studiomdesignsco is the zip code important..because I don't know the zip code for all my products on printify ?

    • @studiomdesignsco
      @studiomdesignsco  Год назад +2

      @@blissessentials524 The main thing I use the zip code for is to make sure customers are getting an accurate estimate on delivery timeframes. That being said, I know a lot of people just use one, so I don't think it's going to be a major issue to do that :)
