As an addict in recovery(6 years), you will NEVER get clean/stay sober/ or stop gambling if you don’t take ACCOUNTABILITY. Not saying Steve is completely innocent. But everyone needs to take accountability and stop playing the blame game.
You're just not a winning players it's good that you dont gamble anymore some people really got problems and i would get sick watching people throw hundreds of dollars away at the tables I would only ever take 100 and ifni dint flip it I'm out but I've had way to many times I've gone and left with like 500 -700 from playing blackjack You have to be very smart in math to make money gambling
The problem is that self exclusion is the first step to taking accountability. Removing yourself from the equation takes guts when you're that deep in. If a site doesn't have self exclusion, they're not allowing the most mentally warped players to choose not to play. It's like having heroin legally delivered to your home while you're in withdrawal.
@@punishedbarca761 it’s actually not like that. When in recovery it’s still possible to have access to drugs or alcohol. The dope man is still selling. yeah i was the same way. the word unregulated didn’t really click until the self-exclusion stuff was brought up. like a regulated casino will ban you if they think u have a problem. these off shore casinos don’t give 2 shits about you or your problems.
@@Jmillz617 also with them being unregulated the casinos are under no obligation to have set payout/winner rules. Like on the back of a scratcher ticket it will say 1 in ever 3.7777 tickets is a winner. These casinos have no one watching them to see if they are paying out as much as they are suppose to. Also regulated casinos dont just ban you if you have a bad problem you have to initiate the process and tell them you wish to be excluded.

I don't think that's how the quote goes or if that's who said it but I agree
this was easily one of the best videos made by coffezilla I have ever seen and I have seen them all. Great job I genuinely just cant emphasize this enough that was incredible.
As an addict in recovery(6 years), you will NEVER get clean/stay sober/ or stop gambling if you don’t take ACCOUNTABILITY. Not saying Steve is completely innocent. But everyone needs to take accountability and stop playing the blame game.
You're just not a winning players it's good that you dont gamble anymore some people really got problems and i would get sick watching people throw hundreds of dollars away at the tables I would only ever take 100 and ifni dint flip it I'm out but I've had way to many times I've gone and left with like 500 -700 from playing blackjack
You have to be very smart in math to make money gambling
The problem is that self exclusion is the first step to taking accountability. Removing yourself from the equation takes guts when you're that deep in. If a site doesn't have self exclusion, they're not allowing the most mentally warped players to choose not to play. It's like having heroin legally delivered to your home while you're in withdrawal.
Accountability is important but stopping the promotion of scam gambling is important too
Aa na and any of addict orgs are cults btw.
@@punishedbarca761 it’s actually not like that. When in recovery it’s still possible to have access to drugs or alcohol. The dope man is still selling. The liquor store is still open just like you still have the internet. It’s not like you’re forced to go to that website every day or go to the liquor store every day. People places and things. You need to separate yourself from that with people you love and a sponsor. If you want to pick up, call your sponsor. He’ll never tell you to go to the dope man or gamble. It’s worth noting that Stevewilldoit only became famous because he’s been an alcoholic since high school. Something important to take into account when considering the stellar decision-making of this particular individual.
What does it say about society when an alcoholic can be more successful in a quicker time than a top notch brain surgeon?
@@renegade2325 it’s the youth that idolise people like Steve then when they get older they realise how stupid they are. My personal story
Alcoholism is a disease; it's not caused solely by making poor decisions. It may result in poor decisions, which is what we're seeing here.
Just watched a podcast where Andrew Schultz looked like he wanted a private hotel room with Steve he loved him that much... What is this world coming to?
Your personally designed visuals look absolutely amazing. Great job on this video and especially this series in general!
Top tier content mate, imagine if politicians and federal agencies were this passionate about regular people.
Steve's just functioning like a banker or a politician lol , go after those people next can't wait to see a series come from this

I can't get over how good the visuals are! It literally makes your videos so fun to watch I didn't even notice half an hour went by.
Damn, that part with the guy talking about ending his life hit me hard I suffer from an addiction too , not gambling but there’s been times when I felt the exact same

i didn't hear about any of this before your video. now i'm hooked on online gambling. thanks a lot, man.
Straight up, I didn't realize the severity of gambling addictions until self-exclusion and self-imposed restrictions were brought up. I don't know how I didn't make the connection before, and while I had an idea of how scummy these gambling sites are, this elevates it to a level of despicable I can't even communicate.
yeah i was the same way. the word unregulated didn’t really click until the self-exclusion stuff was brought up. like a regulated casino will ban you if they think u have a problem. these off shore casinos don’t give 2 shits about you or your problems.
Word
@@Jmillz617 also with them being unregulated the casinos are under no obligation to have set payout/winner rules. Like on the back of a scratcher ticket it will say 1 in ever 3.7777 tickets is a winner. These casinos have no one watching them to see if they are paying out as much as they are suppose to.
Also regulated casinos dont just ban you if you have a bad problem you have to initiate the process and tell them you wish to be excluded.
theres no self-exclusion when ppl are drinking at home either tho
I've never had a full blown gambling addiction, but I came close, I've felt that high of winning, that idea of "hitting it big" and it's fucking terrifying.

That’s the #1 issue I ever had with Steve he is showing the life of the rich an famous but the reality is NELK aren’t paying his bills Allen is
The “your average nelk viewer” is very real. When that initial “giveaway” happened, I called out the scam in the comments. I was met with a bunch of replies calling me a half sender… lol. Sure , I’m a half sender because I don’t willingly give away my money. I’d hate to a full sender in that case..
LOL what douchebags- to call someone a “half sender” unironically, and in an attempt to make them look stupid is absolutely hilarious!
lol more than half of their viewers are half senders just trying to fit in with the cool kids in school
Keep up the great investigative work!
Great job educating the listener to the micro and macro problem at hand...I remember being 20 years old and would be doing the same thing - however it appears steve is a genuine guy and the current and continuous pain of others, fueled by his influence, may haunt him in years to come..nelk could use older guidance behind the scene, as their potential is limitless- and this is really small money compared to their given potential; happy dad; etc
