This guy is literally reporting it as if we didn’t already know that it was corrupt, but nobody cares. At the end of the day you can still win, but expect to lose since it’s gambling
The problem is not crypto, which is a possible way out of tyranny for many countries who are under dictatorships, it's people being unethical assholes and knowingly promoting scams. Remember when Faze were promoting those gambling boxes where you would get a sticker or sneakers? That was gambling targeting kids, same pattern as this, and it was for $, not crypto. So don't blame a potential useful tool that could help people, for these jerks' lack of conscience. It's really too bad this stuff didn't come out before Faze went public.
This series is proof that crypto is awesome, because it made it possible for unregulated detectives like SOG and Coffee to figure out the scams. So it actually makes it harder for people to conceal shady shit bc that info is publicly traceable on the ledger, and visible to anyone, instead of traditional banking, which you would have never gotten to see.
Source: My mother worked for the IRS for 42 years and I thought her job was interesting: For what it's worth, as long as you report it the IRS doesn't give a shit where your money comes from. There's literally a box on a 1040 and a schedule C form that says "other income". As long as you report the income (you don't even have to provide a source for it) and pay taxes on it, they could not give less of a shit because that's where their scope of purpose begins and ends. It's not their job. Funny enough while a lot of criminals don't, there have been multiple US drug kingpins taken down and it was found out they paid all their taxes because of some variation of "Shit that's how they got Al Capone, I wasn't going to go down like that." In fact, the IRS doesn't investigate money laundering nor do they care about it, and they are actually prohibited from referring any suspected criminal activity including money laundering to the FBI for criminal investigation, they're strictly about "give uncle sam his cut and he won't ask no questions". Now Banks, the SEC, etc are required to report, but the reality is with the nature of crypto, they don't actually HAVE to be doing this elaborate money laundering scheme which is FAR more illegal and FAR more prison time than they'd get for the casino stuff. They're playing themselves hard. If they report the damn income and pay it in a cashier's check or money order, both of which are purchasable directly with crypto, they are fine. Leave the money in the wallets, use crypto to pay where you can, and extract via money order (less than 10,000, preferably WAY less) don't even involve the banks. This is maddeningly stupid to watch them commit a WAY WORSE CRIME than they are guilty of when if they just engaged a financial lawyer they would not need to do this shit. The Money Laundering would firmly be in the FBI's scope of investigation now they may employ forensic accountants that work for the IRS because they have the best Forensic Accountants in the country, but the FBI would be the primary investigator on money laundering.

This guy is very biased and seems to only care about if it’s ethical or illegal. Just because it’s illegal doesn’t mean it’s wrong, and most of his questions about why they did something could easily be answered by how much money they were getting. They were getting so much money it’s justified
Having no clue on the lingo, but watching anyway because the evidence is so pin pointed out for me, and explained in a way I understood.....I have been sucked into this series, it's honestly been so good imo....I'm still a little lost here and there but overall understanding just how deep the bs goes with these scammers is quite clear!
I remember earlier this year as the NFT craze first started my friends and I were questioning why anyone would pay 10s of 100s of thousands of dollars on a jpeg. I was reminded of how traditional art is used as a convenient money laundering method, and speculated that this was just the newest iteration. And here we are with some evidence based confirmation of this being true. Appreciate all the hustle, you and coffee really went the extra mile for this series.
NFT as an idea is... Weirdly sound as it works like a digital version of a master's copy in traditional art: they know you own the original. Problem is that it was rapidly buried under a heap of nonsense by terrible pieces and predatory practices, mostly stem from fear of missing something big. They never had the period of maturity like crypto currency had...

If only these youtubers would put as much effort and devotion, and were as passionate, about the filthy, manipulative, disgusting microtransactions in video games, that turned a beautiful, lovely gaming industry into basically online casinos, I would sleep much better. Because at the end, these people who are gambling in these casinos, 1, are totally aware everything is super shady, and potentially illegal, and 2, if they have cryptos, paypal and credit cards to buy vpns and cryptos, then, they have a job, are probably 18, and the money they gamble would probably end up as tips for a few titty streamers... Because if you know you are being stolen, and you keep doing the same shit, then maybe you deserve to be stolen.. So yes, expensive in-game purchases, loot boxes, and microtransactions, those worry me 1 million times more...! That's why I would like these youtubers, especially when they have 500k subs, 1 million, 2 million, etc etc, to join forces, and start actively talking about ţhose issues, until some big medias start reporting it. Because 1 youtuber ranting about microtransactions, loot boxes, EA, fifa, etc, in a video, it will make 0 impact. But if tomorrow, 100...1'000....10'000 youtubers, started making these kinds of researches, with numbers and everything explained, and hundreds of millions of gamers, and their parents learned about all that stuff, and learned their kids just spent 20 bucks on a fortnite skin, or 3 player boxes in fifa, etc etc, and suddenly, everybody started looking at sony, Ms, etc, and EA, blizzard, etc etc, and the medias picked up the stories, maybe then we could get some positive changes...! Since 2010, basically all AAA games were built around some kind of economic model. Without anyone to stop them, they even dare putting microtransactions in single player titles ! So yes, that concerns me muuuuch more than these casinos. But nobody cares about it...

Crypto is actually a great hedge against the dollar because most of em are appreciating assets. Ie: what's more valuable 1 BTC, or the price of one btc in cash? Which is better option. The 1 BTC. Because tomorrow shoot up in value 10 thousand dollars. While the dollar for sure is going to have 12 percent less spending power by the end of the year than it did at the begenning. Also it keeps the government politicians in line and it's going to put a halt to alot of their shady business dealings. The only thing going on right now is most of the ppl in the world arent tech savvy. And they have no idea about crypto currencies yet. But that's going to change. If u can buy what ever u can afford to get your hand on and just hold it for as long u can.

Once Muta mentioned NFT's, I already knew it was gonna lead to money laundering. Art is always used in money laundering, now NFT's are just an additional choice. Personally nft's aren't really art, it's just a single design with multiple reskins, nothing original. Can easily drop it into a program with a randomizer and make yourself a collection of "original" designs.
They do this with cyberpunks too... who in their right mind spends 120k on a green haired pixelated guy on the internet? I mean really think about that
NFTs are whatever people make of them, they don't even have to be art. These days most of the interest is in these simplistic cartoony pieces that the buyers use as online avatars. You might not personally feel like its art, but a lot of dumb shit passes for art in the real world, and many people see a lot of value in these projects beyond the money-laundering potential. Also, I think you mean Crypto punks Vermilli0n, and they are going for millions now, get with the times.

In fact, the IRS doesn't investigate money laundering nor do they care about it, and they are actually prohibited from referring any suspected criminal activity including money laundering to the FBI for criminal investigation, they're strictly about "give uncle sam his cut and he won't ask no questions".

Your coverage of the Faze Banks v Tfue situation a few years back was tremendous 👌

As much as I agree with almost everything here and loved the series all that good stuff...the casino self ban is absolute joke at least here in the US..I grew up in a family of gambling addicts..if you put a hoodie and some glasses on trust me they ain't stopping you from spending money..they only have the self ban in place so when someone loses there life savings and jumps off the roof they aren't liable..why do you think all the balconies in casino hotels are Perma locked
Hehe lol i never knew about the balcony thing but it actually makes sense lol
And you know its just like why they mark your leg to make sure you get the right one amputated , cuz you know it has gone wrong an x amount of times before they decided hey maybe we should put a giant x on the leg
@@owningkoning they could still potentialy get it wrong and say "aw shit... really? we thought the x was marked on the one they wanted to keep...sorry! bit of the ole miscommunication there...mondays, ha! am right guys?" 😅
Idk I'm self banned in a local casino. Got in. Played 10 min of blackjack. Had security walk me out.
Balconies are just not for poors.
I'm only halfway through this video and I FULLY UNDERSTAND why people fear for their lives
You can see how hard Muta has been working with how much his eyebags grew. This video is well appreciated
lmao this comment is so good
Idk it kinda looks like he developed a speed habit. Seems like he doesn't sleep and has visible weight loss.
Maybe he's just doing Keto and all the extra energy he has it's what's keeping him awake 🤷♂️
@@SirTorcharite pre sure muta would wish that was true, he has sleeping paralyzis episodes often so he doesnt get alot of sleep..
ur all new, hes always had that pretty sure its a condition.
you gotta love the public blockchain.. exposing criminals 1-step at a time. All it takes is for an authoritative figure to go after them and criminally pursue them.
man, I remember watching SOG back in the creepypasta days. Talk about a genre shift
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR THIS FINALE. THANK YOU
VIDEO COMING IN CLUTCH ON TIME! BLESS THE MUDAH COFFEE
I'd like to see a video of the guys you're investigating watching THIS 6 part series.🤔It's mind-boggling. I'm both in awe of the info you found/terrified at how easy it was for you to find it. 😵
i hope this get on netflix one day not waited on an other episode like this since Mandalorian
WHY IS THIS NOT VIRAL YET WTF!
You also need to be looking into the weekly give away they do like on Stake. It is based on wagers, so if they are wagering with money given to them it's a huge scam. They top winners are always hidden names, and the 1st place prize is 25,000 (a week)
This thing goes so deep.
I’ve been waiting for this. Literally have been checking a few times a day.
