You need to understand that RLM don't care about Star Wars.
The Plinkett reviews were done because Mike saw the prequels as analogous to The Next Generation movies. Plinkett started by doing deep dive analysis on why the Star Trek the Next Generation films were trash compared to the original Star Trek films.
Rich is actually in no way a Star Wars fan. Mike has a mild interest in Star Wars, and Jay is a super casual fan perhaps... a normie.
Mike did a great job with his Plinkett reviews, but it's not actually from the perspective of a hardcore fan... it's mostly an objective perspective of a guy who understands movies and has an understanding of why the OT was special.

I do think RLM has lost a bit of their edge over the years. Maybe it's the constant stream of mainstream crap they've subjected themselves to. Maybe it's just getting older and not caring as much. Maybe it's a bit of contrarianism since so many people hate the Disney version of Star Wars. Whatever it is, the fundamental stupidity of Kenobi's premise and its inherent fan service (in the bad way) would seem enough to make the old them hate it.

Personally, I'm indifferent about Red Letter Media. I don't think they're bad as Anomaly Inc makes them out to be, yet I don't think they're as good as Mauler, Drinker or Nerdrotic make them out to be. Sometimes they make good observations about the culture, like the whole "Don't ask questions. Just consume product and be excited for next product" and the "LOYALTY TO DISNEY. LOYALTY TO THE BRAND" comments. Yet when I watch their Star Wars critiques, I'm often asking myself "Guys, did you even watch the same movie as me? You missed this, this and this points."
I'd honestly feel better if they admitted to being Trekkies, preferring Star Trek over Star Wars. That way, it makes more sense why their Star Wars reviews aren't as good because they aren't as invested in the series as much as they are with Star Trek. As it is, I think their takes on Star Wars and their reviews are some of the worst critiques I've seen about Star Wars, filled to the brim with strawmen, poorly researched criticisms, false allegations and a whole lot of fan whinging that doesn't amount to anything than an entitled fan not getting what they want.
As it is, I think they're extremely overrated and I think the latest slate of RUclips critics who were fans or inspired by RLM (like the before mentioned Mauler, Drinker or Nerdrotic) have managed to be more entertaining and informative than these guys in much the same way how Anomaly Inc has surpassed his inspiration, Chris Stuckman.
P.S. I find it deliciously ironic that one of these assclowns 1:23:17 unironically calls us man babies for not liking Luke doing an out of character thing despite supporting his co-host for being a man baby when he whinges about George Lucas and the prequel trilogy. One of the most famous fights in The Matrix is the lobby scene. That fight is completely devoid of emotion or stakes because the main characters are just fighting against random security guards. Yet it is incredibly because of just how good the choreography, cinematography, effects, and music is.

I like watching the critical drinker sometimes despite him liking The predator movie Prey which I found to be godawful, and I like watching Mr. H despite him liking the new Hellraiser movie and so on and so forth. Picard Season2 didn't break Mike, it was William Shatner.
Shatner was his childhood hero, but now Shatner (or someone who does his Social Media stuff) has blocked him, because Shatner saw a short clip from Mikes ST1 Video, out of context and decided that mike was a clown.
    THAT broke Mike.
My theory (it could be completely wrong, which i hope): You can see in the following months after this, that mike more and more was depressed (very subtle, not the usualy jokes they are doing, but some of his looks and manners are different) and the other two (Jay and Rich) are on board, maybe because they find it funny or they genuinely don't really care.

I also want to add to that discussion about Sidious vs Yoda being supposedly silly because the platforms were getting thrown:
That was the peak of the Sith and Jedi of their era clashing each other, if there ever was a fight to go big with the Force, it was then. And this might be just me, but even though there's the whole Force empowering them physically-stuff, I'd still argue Sidious and Yoda are feeling their age, they are not as fit, so even more the reason for the fight to turn into a test of how much power they can figuratively and literally throw at each other
