@Aussie Arvos yeah, I know that feeling mate. As I said it's coming along cool, keep it up and hopefully soon see video of it on a road trip with ya bro.
Your build is really not only just entertainment but educational! You see build ups but you don’t see this depth and learn as you watch😊 Your passion is inspiring🖤
Quick 1 on the power steering to my knowledge the reason it runs over to the other side through the little cooler and back is two purposes one for volume and second heat and part of the heat management is the volume of going to the other side and back, I can’t see a hinderance running short lines to a cooler but just something to keep in mind
Love seeing you guys help each other, honestly. It's awesome seeing you guys share a hobby and really appreciate each other. Even for family that's rare these days. Great work guys. Now lock up that front!
I’m in the uk England and I have a Nissan patrol td42 2000 year in red only done 147,000 miles. It’s an Australian import with rust still on the back door where the Australian number plate used to be! I wish I could bring it back there and get you guys to help me refurb it back to new like this. I can’t get any parts here for it so every time I need something it has to usually come from Australia via eBay and it costs a fortune. I love it though so i don’t mind spending the money on it. I have been following this rebuild since the beginning and it feels good to see a plan come together. Keep up the work boys nearly there now!!
I am one of your fans from Saudi Arabia. I was very happy to see you. I appreciate your work and effort and felt how happy you are. great work. I offer you all my congratulations and best wishes for all the best and success.
I stumbled across your youtube content when I was planning a trip to Fraser Island last year. Patrick's trip to Fraser was encouraging as I hadn't done much sand driving previously. It's great to see the transformation of your GQ and how well you all work together on your projects. I look forward to seeing it completed. Keep up the good work and the continued explanation of the processes.
Good work boys love what you do and hope to see more One thing that I like about this channel compared to others is that is budget friendly and I like that thanks boys please keep it up
Awesome work guys she's gonna be lovely, love a nice GQ coily especially white ones. . You won't know yourself with the boosted clutch so much better. .
I am assuming you have a GU brake master cylinder? The hard lines are back to front compared to the GQ so the front brakes run through the proportioning valve unless you swap them around. Easiest to do down on the distribution block on the chassis under the master cylinder.
Well done boys ..crist that job would be big for someone who does this for a living …you two young blokes tackling this is very impressive well done …and looking great
Build is looking good. Just wondering if it would have been easier to spray cab on horses or suspended off the chassis? Just my opinion. If was me and had cab already off I would have resprayed inside/outside and revealed the underbody since it was largely stripped and off chassis, but that's me. Good job though.
I feel like ive learnt more from this one video then from most of the bigger channels, and was entertaining without being in your face kinda loud. keep up the good work!
I've got 2 GQ chassis's to pick up. And I've got an MQ Patrol with good SD3.3. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my Patrol. The GQ chassis's are coil.
Hey mate I just wanted to let u know that on the Td42 where it picks up the vacuum line is on the right side of the engine which mean that u can just run a vacuum Line up the drivers side of the engine bay to the booster.
Thanks mate, I’m still using a vacuum canister so if the car shuts off while driving I still have breaks. I also thought it would be good to have the canister considering the clutch is now also vacuum assisted!
Quick tip for welding up small holes with a mig, if you get some copper bar and hold behind when filling in holes it lets you fill with out burning a bigger hole or adding backing material. Just remember the copper will get as hot as weld just doesn't attach to weld.
Howdy, from Colorado!, remind me again why your panels wouldn't swap over and you had to grab the ones from that maverick? I know you said a little dented. but why wouldn't yours fit? Still though, I love your channel! It's definitely my favorite here on the Tube. I'm always checking every week for each new video you lads put out! Keep it up
Hi Beau! The wheel base is diffrent between the leaf sprung chassis and coil chassis so the wheels sit in slightly diffrent position, and thus hit guards, so we had to chage over to front guards from a coil model. The cabs are the same however!
This is the kind of content we miss from the big box channel boys 🤙🏼 keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next trip.
We can't wait! Cheers Michael!
@Aussie Arvos yeah, I know that feeling mate. As I said it's coming along cool, keep it up and hopefully soon see video of it on a road trip with ya bro.

Thanks Aidan!
Can I ask why you guys didn’t fully strip the engine bay out, to respray the whole cab?
Not usually into build vids but this had been mint. You sure know your shit. It's been awesome
Thanks Paul! That means alot!

Liam your Maverick is starting to come together LMAO 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously can't wait to see the next step. I am guessing the cab is getting painted?
Sure is!! Cheers thanks Philip 😂👌
Great build mate it's coming along bit by bit. Hats off to you, will be a top rig when your done😎👍
Cheers Jmac! Much appreciated!
Lookin good boys. One thing i would of done is rebuilt the engine and replace the clutch whilst the engine was out. Just for piece of mind
so good to see someone restoring a GQ instead of just buying a new cab, one day not far from now these cars are gonna get hard to find and expensive
100% cheers Rhys!

Totally agree with you that's what I always did building show car's. Being put on revolving horse's on wheels 👍

Are you going to use the original ute fuel tank as well as the standard wagon tank?
You boys are killing it loving this series ❤ not here to take part here to take over best Aussie 4b channel

Cheers Andy!
Should of painted the engine bay too !!
Crazy... I don't know why you wouldn't before dropping it on the chassis. Also a coat of underbody while its off.
Did you ever think of painting the cab of the chassis so you could do the engine bay as well?

Time for a PODCAST guys! 😮👀
Nah
Did a live stream last week you can check out! 👌
RIP the Ford Maverick.
May you live on in two other patrols.
@AussieArvos question how many kms does the patrol have? Did you rebuild the engine, before turbo and what’s a safe psi to run.
