@@paperluigi6132 I was lucky to have been raised by pretty cool parents. My dad's a gamer (so I got to grow up with NES and SNES) and my mum's pretty lax about cartoons. In fact, they got a bunch of stuff on a whim and it wound up influencing my life (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon XD, Kingdom Hearts, Ocarina of Time, etc.). Hell, my start to pokemon was my dad finding a lost copy of Sapphire some kid left at a theater.
This was perfect from start to finish! From the KND reference to the running animation to the jumping and slashing sound effects, this was golden. Thank you.

In my case its always violently swing before opening the chest because I constantly forget Triangle opens it and not X

at least in the rereleases. The original PS2 version didnt have that, instead the open select option was replacing the bottom slot command which felt counterintuitive.
I just do the sliding dash attack like an idiot because that's what my first command always is and I've played infinitely more of 1, Re:COM, 2, and 3 than bbs or DDD.
