In this video, we're going to talk about weird symptoms. Many times people go to the doctor because they're experiencing weird symptoms, and there's really no test that can pick up a lot of these symptoms.
There is a part of the body called the autonomic nervous system. This is the system behind all other systems, and it runs on automatic. The autonomic nervous system controls homeostasis.
Homeostasis is your body's ability to adapt to its environment. It's constantly adjusting digestion, hormones, and more. If the autonomic nervous system becomes dysfunctional, it's called dysautonomia, which can cause a wide range of dysautonomia symptoms.
Weird symptoms:
1. Urinary frequency
2. Difficulty sweating
3. Sensitivity to light and sounds
4. Ringing in ears
5. Coughing at night
6. Fainting
7. Irregular heart rhythm
8. Temperature dysfunction
9. Low and high blood pressure
10. POTS, high and low pulse rate
11. Dry eyes
12. Sweating easily
13. Premature ejaculation
14. Sleep problems
15. Digestive problems
16. Seizures
The expert on the autonomic nervous system would be a neurologist.
The first two symptoms that let you know that the autonomic nervous system may be breaking down are:
1. You stand up too fast, and you feel dizzy
2. Bladder problems at night
The autonomic nervous system helps regulate many different functions in the body. If you have these weird symptoms, it may be because of a problem with the autonomic nervous system.

maybe start researching specific to the symptom and 'autonomic nervous system' or Synpathethic nervous system or Parasympathetic nervous system or Enteric nervous sytem
Same here!

interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for herbal medicine for premature ejaculation try Jadonite Take Longer Buddy ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate got great results with it.
There are many factors in treating premature ejaculation naturally . One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Magic remedy method (google it if you're interested) it's the most incredible plan that I've heard of. look at the super info .

I was thinking the same - sort of left you hanging
Thank you for addressing this. I was diagnosed with this 4 years ago but have been symptomatic for 20 with no true help from any doctor. Both my neurologist and cardiologist are at a loss. The research that I have done has lead me to supplementing with B12 and folic acid.

I agree with all the others who suffer from dysautonomia who say that step 1 is going to a dysautonomia center and that anything less is a waste of time.
Thank you so much for sharing. This pretty much fits me! I've had many a doctor show me the exit sign, or tell me just go to the nearest psychiatric hospital. I'm not exaggerating. It always starts with "Have you been shooting up heroin?" Both my kidneys are swollen and they bleed a tiny bit. I've been to for kidney specialists with no medical explanation . So I guess that's why they ask about heroin shooting up. But praise the Lord for folks like you that help us who the medical field has just given up on. I've been suffering with viruses from age srven until about age 40 something. These days I'm so much better . Gluten free and all the other healthy steps. Once again Dr. Berg, my husband and I thank you.
Me too. Was told I had psychosis.
I have been diagnosed with Dysautonomia. Dizziness, fainting, high/low blood pressure, etc.
Cannot find such deep information anywhere else so easily. Thank you, Dr Berg!
I just had a health practitioner do the heart rate variability test, but now you explained it more thoroughly - I was wondering why when I go in my FAR infrared sauna for 30 min. I don't sweat much at all, plus I have very dry eyes and tinnitus - she said the results of this test will normalize once I get rid of mercury in my ri.kidney, liver and toes - I'm doing a good job of detoxing because mercury or other toxins in the liver try to move as far away as possible from the liver. I had mercury fillings removed many years ago so I can contribute my problem to those good amalgam fillings. It's been a miserable 3 yrs with the feet getting very tense when I lay down and sometimes wants to cramp up - very much insomnia due to this problem. Thanks to my wonderful dentists - I finally switched to a biological dentist. It shows how if you have mercury in the body (lots of vaccines) it can manifest into so many problems down the road, including Parkinson's and dementia.
This was the 1st Dr. Berg video I ever watched, I have never forgotten the relief I felt because I suddenly knew there was a doctor who understood....finally after 5 decades of seeking help I found it. I had over 150 cyclic symptoms at the time, I also had chronic Lyme and viral co-infections. Thank you Dr.Berg.

Your videos are my morning shows on Sunday morning. Thanks to all the info, my thyroid functions has not relapse.
I was diagnosed with hyperadrenergic POTS, there a few types of POTS and it’s very important that patients know what type of POTS they have so it can be treated properly. I was treated incorrectly for 5 years with beta-blockers which are contraindicated with Hyperadrenergic POTS. When I began having severe tremors all over my body......much like a seizure my cardiologist sent me to Vanderbilt for extensive Autonomic testing and they figured everything out. I also have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which commonly is seen with hyper POTS. This is a very tricky disease and you must do your research to be sure how to treat the problem. For instance, my cardio exercise I do in a pool and my strength exercise is done on a Pilates reformer because I can lay down while I work my muscles. This is a horrible condition, especially when friends and family don’t understand how quickly symptoms come on and I just have to lay down. 😰
Ashley check the answer I wrote.
How’s your bp? Mine spikes pretty high sometimes and it’s always elevated for the most part. Trying to do things natural, Has helped a lot of symptoms but I think the high bp is hardest to treat for me
"Especially when friends and family don't understand." Yep. I often hear "But you look so healthy" or get that look like "you could do this just fine 5 minutes ago, but somehow you can't NOW?"
My social circle is much smaller now, to avoid all those conversations.
Dr Berg you are amazing! Wow ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
we need part 2 sir !
You doc are amazing this video explains alot, million thanks!♡
Suffered years. Went to so many doctors. Finally got a diagnosis. But you reported on this 7 years ago. Most doctors don’t know anything about dysautonomia.
EXCELLENT PRESENTATION
After 29 years of searching finally figured out it was dysautonomia and went to a dysautonomia specialist and was diagnosed. Saw 4 neuros since then who all said go to a dysautonomia center, the first even saying "sorry to waste your time, we aren't trained and don't have the equipment" whereas my dsyautonomia specialist was a cardio diagnosed himself 15 years ago and became expert on dysauto and can test my autonomic nervous system.
What have you done to help you ?
@@karine8738 As explained, I referred myself to a dysautonomia center and got proper autonomic testing and treatment. I agree with all the other dysautos who say that is step 1 and anything less is a waste of time.

I hope you're a real doctor and not an actor because I'm following your advice. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos and sharing your knowledge with the world. God bless 🙏
Thank you Dr. Berg!
Holy crap you have listed almost every single thing that has been going on with me right down to the POTS!
If only there were a clear cut way to address this. So far all I’ve seen is stress reduction and address the adrenals. I’ve been this way almost a decade. I don’t think it’s easy to fix.
@@briarrose3687 go see an osteopath!! My POTS has improved 95%!
@@tanyawieczorek7943 I was looking forward to seeing an osteopath but he was so rude to me because he was into neuro linguistics (changing the language in way you talk to yourself), and I didn’t respond the way he wanted me to after 2 visits! He referred me on to the exercise physiologist for practical exercise routines which was ok but very disappointing because I’ve been walking stiff legged for over a year and thought an osteopath would help.
@@krpurple2678 I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with an osteopath! No way should he have treated someone like that 😓😓 is there another one you could try?
I will be trying to stick with this diet even more to fix my urinary issues. I’m very excited to have found this video as I gives me even more hope to fix my condition. Thank you Dr Berg.
@Helene Vion hello thank you for the reply!! I have overall improved my condition since then. During this period of time I do remember this condition being quite hell and a lot to deal with. There is still slight struggle with “emptying the tank” if you will lol but overall the frequency has gone down as well as the pain. I also have been smoking the green stuff for like 9 years so that is a HUGE factor as well. This is year 5 since my condition started and dieting makes a night and day difference. The better the diet the less irritants go through my bladder/ system (soda fizz, caffeine, sugar, Spicey foods, dairy, gluten, citrus fruits, veggies / fruits high in vitamin C, chocolate) all kinds of stuff. Lucky me!
Don’t get me wrong though my diet still goes astray at times. Matter of fact since I made that comment nearly 3 years ago I’ve gone from 150lb to 226 and now back down to 193ish. So as you can tell I went astray for awhile and am now recovering from it lol. But once I can quit the pot and junk food for good my life should improve massively
@Helene Vion I will need to check those out!
Another excellent video by Dr. Berg.
Interesting,
Thank u
I have the majority of these symptoms. I was referred to a cardiologist who ran several tests on my heart. They thought it was POTS but my tilt table was negative. Now they have ordered adrenal testing and head MRI. I really think it’s dysautonomia but with the negative tilt table I’m second guessing :/ Thank you for the great info.
Was it dysautonomia ?
Beriberi syndrome?
Thank you! I have a majority of these symptoms and have been diagnosed with POTS, hypotension, cardiac arrhythmia, tinnitus, severe night sweats and IBS. I’ll be looking into treating this as a diagnosis.

I think this is exactly the system that became injured when I caught covid 5 months ago, I mentioned in one of your other videos. I have a lot of problems now that are strange in nature. So sorry to hear that. I developed dysautanomia after getting mono (several years before covid hit). But dysautanomia international has been keeping up with developments on long haul covid and special treatment centers for people like you (other dysautanomia sufferers cannot go to these clinics which is sad because there are so few places we can go). Anyways, take advantage of those new clinics. Also check the dysautanomia international site and search the doctor list for someone near you that can help.
THANK YOU!!! I’m 20 and had frequent nosebeelds since I can remember, I’m easily stressed, even though I’m constantly told my blood pressure is “normal” with a 60 bpm and I think a 98 blood pressure. I get lightheaded standing up, after a nosebleed or randomly. I tear up and bleed from my nose (so much people have compared it to a cut jugular) whenever I have a lot of stress. And some other private symptoms every doctor I’ve gone to has said I’m fine... this don’t seem fine and the other things are simply not normal.

Try high dose B1
@@JohnSmith-iu8cj I'd caution against high doeses of any single B vitamin. They work synergistically & high doses of one can create deficiencies in others.
My wife has had an issue over a year now. The bottom of her feet itch really bad to the point of scratching uncontrollably. I have treated it with herbs and oils but nothing seems to work. She soaks her feet in hot water with apple cider vinegar sometimes twice a day and it helps some for a short period. I could really use your opinion on this. Love your videos.

A neurologist will not touch this. Just an FYI. I had 2 separate neurologist tell me they do not treat this. I found a cardiologist to be more beneficial.

Unique El Hello! After the last 2 months since writing that comment, listening to Dr. Berg, listening to all his videos, and Q and A videos, and getting his book and products, and doing keto for the last 6 1/2 months and doing intermittent fasting for the last 3 3/4 months, I think this is linked to the adrenals. So working on the adrenals I believe should really help. Also, I think keto and intermittent fasting, along with following all of Dr Berg's advice would be the cure! His method of this diet (way of life, way of eating) seems to be a cure all! I hope that helps at all! I really love this way of eating, and feel sooo much better and have sooo much improvement since my last comment! My quality of life has gone way up! I'm still on my journey, but moving forward steadily! :) Also, I still agree, Dr. Berg should do a second part to this video! :)
@@sarabrooksloveandlaughter2654 agree 100%. Keto and fasting will fix all of these issues.
Are there any supplements that can help strengthen the autonomic nervous system, as well as the other two systems?
Vitamin B complex , especially B1,B6,B12
Careful though B vitamins can cause depression in some, as they are synthetic and you got to have enough magnesium in your body t process them
I have a lot of these issues. Can you make an updated video on this? Mainly hyperhydrosis
Oliver alcohol sugar and other stimulants (even high protein) have varying effects on the adrenals, I didn't drink alcohol or coffee really but the sugar definitely got me :)) and you can inherate these genetic weaknesses from your parents!
I notice this when I drink caffeine. It's one hell of a drug!
Haha tell me about it, I had some monster once and it sent me ovethe edge, ive defiantly got some autonomic a adrenal work to do :))
It's mostly because insulin resistance.

Dr. Berg, you are so amazing. I am shocked that most doctors don't know half of the things you teach through your videos. I had a few of those symptoms last winter. I was severely sick with migraines and unsteady gait. I saw a neurologist, blood work, cat scan on the brain but nothing helped. I took some gut supplement and it all cleared up. Why don't more doctors learn what you are teaching. I am so amazed at what this video shared because it connects to my health issues that I am so thankful I have recovered from. I want to ask if you have heard of MDDS?
What kind of gut supplements were you taking?

Many of those symptoms may point to Lyme disease.
Every neurologist I've ever been to won't talk about the autonomic nervous system and when I asked they say the don't cover that.
Exactly. Doctors these days don’t listen. I am having to pay cash for a very thorough internist that can and is willing to look into, diagnose/rule out autonomic issues. I have shown neurologists how blood pools in my legs. They have seen my HR shoot up when I stand, but they don’t care. Medicine is a mess these days...
Lisa Smith I have this too. Blood also pools in my hands when they are by my side (not elevated) I believe it now to be POTs symptom and a problem with nervous system. However I have no idea how to fix it, in fact I don’t feel it’s even possible 100%. I only know to avoiding things that exacerbate it like excess sodium to potassium ratio and dehydration, alcohol, caffeine, certain medications etc. I know of no doctor that has heard of or understands why this happens. How are you getting on nowadays?
I had a recent ct angiogram and it showed an adrenal nodule that was 1.4 cm Dr said repprt does not recommend further work up. Should I be concerned or have this tested to see if it is causing problems?
I have most of that problem my doctor say I have nothing,so here I am.
Can you do a video on excessive sweating? Does it have to do with the adrenal body type? I’m adrenal and always sweat a lot especially when I’m nervous.
You might have HYPOTHYROIDISM.
or hyperthyroidism.
I take oxybutynin for my Hyperhidrosis
I recently found out that excessive sweating can be a Vitamin B1 deficiency. So I started taking B1 and it has stopped my excessive sweating (it’s been unbearable over the past few years) and also improved my sleep at the night. I take a couple of tablets a day sometimes three. It’s worth a try and experimenting with dose. If it doesn’t help you can rule that out. B1 is a cheap vitamin.

I also have these symptoms. And do the same routine like yours except for the swimming. If I may ask, How are you managing your symptoms now? Have you found anything new on your research study?
Thank You!
@@UnkleHec adjusting to the social environment, choosing my battles, understanding that nothing is perfect and that's okay. Also i found that i must go without flour and milk for periods of time as my stomach is turning sensitive to those and it changes my mood. Good luck
