I’ve had vertigo for almost ten years. Ill feel it all day everyday during the winter, and summer it can but me down for a week and then it’s ‘“manageable.” I’ve spent my life savings visiting every doctor imaginable tell me “there’s nothing wrong with me” and have been to the emergency room probably 100 plus times in which all they do is give me klonopin and a vallium prescription to make me go away cause they don’t care which… yes… gets rid of it but knocks me out the rest of the day. Basically if it’s not the bppv type, then they have no idea how to fix it. I’ve felt everything to being broke from doctors visits, to anxious to suicidal. In fact there was one point it was so bad I was taking Valiums to keep myself asleep and sleeping for weeks at a time. It’s the most awful debilitating illness. I’m only 32 years old but don’t know how much longer I can endure it.
Make sure to have a doctor check your vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels. Even if they are close to the lowest level, they can cause problems. See a Naturopath doctor if you don’t get help. She or he will have N.D. at the end of their name. They actually have a degree. That doctor can test for many things through a blood test that regular doctors can’t.
I had slight vertigo before I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma stage 1. After all heavy chemo and a barrage of medication with chemo pills it's become worse, but thank God I'm in remission. Now I need to work on it.
I have paroxysmal positional vertigo…def inner ear issue for over 10 years. It isn’t debilitating, but the anxiety it causes is difficult to deal with.
It's important to recognize that anxiety is a common response to living with a health condition. It may be helpful to work with a healthcare professional, such as an ear, nose, and throat specialist or a therapist, to develop strategies for managing both the physical symptoms of PPV and the associated anxiety.
I have vitiligo , I get horrible dizziness and vomiting that last for hours, it started in 2020 been to doctors, spending thousands of dollars, doing cat scan, AMD MRI, doing therapy also, also have this ringing in my ears also, taking tablets Notting helps
I have similar symtoms and been on several meds and diagnosed multiple times. Have you found out what it is? I hate it, I just want to be normal again!
Hi I'm Krishan Pal. I've been suffering from vertigo since 2017. It all started when I started gym on my own at the home without using proper equipments and guidance. I regret of every moment of my life why did I start working out at home own my own. I used to lift heavy weight about 70kg bench press, 110kg squats and 110kg deadlift. Even my mom tried to stop but I was advertently killing myself. Watching all these hunk guys video's Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, Jay cutler, Kevin Levrone so on bodybuilders i motivated and satisate myself. I was heading in the wrong direction all along but who doesn't want to look like these guys. Everyone praise their's bodies and I was one of them. I wanted to look like them that's the reason I started working out. I pushed hard to attain the body that i desired to. I started taking multivitamin shit Becadexamin, supradin. For a while i thought it would going to make my body like bodybuilders. I couldn't afford protein supplements so I dropped the Idea of purchasing it. I started eating rice just like bodybuilders eat as I was a vegetarian i couldn't eat chicken, fish. I also taken speed height capsules because I was ashamed of my height.
I got vertigo that lasted 4 days after taking CBD oil for over a week. I'm still not 100% well experiencing light headedness and fatigue.. please be careful with unprescribed medicines. Has anyone experienced this before? I hope to feel better soon but it looks like it's taking its sweet time as I feel my body has been very slowly trying to get rid of it 😪
I have been told I have chiari 1 malformation in 2012 can this cause vertigo ? I've been to multiple so called specialist , ENT,had injections in my ears and nothing worked I have this daily since 2019..I'm 58 year's of age
My mom got all these symptoms and went to doctors..they just giving medicine and telling my mom not eating spicy food and don't stress.. i guess every doctor been too busy to checking what cause my mom's vertigo so they just sent us home with medications.. too sad, but too poor to complain...
Just had it 2 days ago. I couldn't stop the spinning in my head whenever I tried to move. Things are shaking in front of my eyes and I felt lightheaded. Then it went away after I had enough sleep until today when I made the mistake of drinking a cup of coffee. It returns now and I feel terrible
@ghun131 It sounds like you may be experiencing vertigo or vestibular issues, which can cause that sensation of spinning and imbalance. Coffee, due to its caffeine content, might trigger or worsen these symptoms in some people, especially if you're sensitive to it or if it affects your inner ear balance system. It's great that sleep helped, but since the dizziness returned, it may be a good idea to avoid caffeine for a while and consult a doctor to evaluate your symptoms. They can rule out any underlying conditions and help guide you toward appropriate treatment or lifestyle adjustments to manage the dizziness.
Man i just woke up and shit didnt feel right whenever i laydown and get up shit moves and i feel naseated its so intense. This is scary what do i do cant go to the doctor.
It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of vertigo; try to stay hydrated, rest, and consider seeing a healthcare provider as soon as possible. ❤️
@Threaddd Experiencing vertigo that improves after rest but worsens with movement can be frustrating, especially at your age. It might be related to several factors, including inner ear issues, vestibular disorders, or even anxiety. It's important to keep track of when your symptoms occur and any accompanying factors, like changes in position or stress levels. I recommend consulting a healthcare professional, such as an ear, nose, and throat specialist or a neurologist, who can help determine the cause and recommend appropriate treatment or therapies. You're not alone in this, and getting the right help can make a significant difference!
@elishawright2456 Yes, betahistine is commonly prescribed to help manage vertigo and balance disorders, particularly in conditions like Ménière's disease. It works by improving blood flow in the inner ear, which can help reduce the frequency and severity of vertigo episodes. If you're considering taking betahistine or are currently using it, it's important to follow your healthcare provider's guidance regarding dosage and usage. If you have any questions or concerns about its effects, discussing them with your doctor is a good idea.
