      Hello. I am facing sscd surgery. And diagnosed with Ménière’s disease. Tinnitus through the roof in my right ear now.ear now also. Waiting on my dr to see if maybe I have the sscd all of a sudden in my right ear also now..or is it the Ménière’s..I have slight vertigo with noise definitely in my left ear because of the hole but not so sure yet with the right ear. So many questions and I keep going round in circles. My dr says more than likely my problems in my left ear should lessen but my right ear is worse in my mind..now you say Tinnitus can be in the head and that’s what I feel I have sometimes straight in between my ears in my brain..I know this is a old post but makes me feel better to at least get this in cyberspace..no one gets it..I can’t be the only one in the world undiagnosed with this..thank you..Conrad Zimmerman.

    🤓 Hello, Dr. Ben. My name is Eric, and I'm a Filipino. I've been a fan of yours for over 2 months, and I've also been watching your tinnitus videos. My tinnitus began two months ago. I'm concerned because, in addition to tinnitus, I'm suffering hypnic jerks, which began one week after I was diagnosed with tinnitus, and the sound of my tinnitus intensified significantly more when I withdrew my impacted tooth. In addition, I take 5g of Melatonin, which helps me relax. I know you have a lot of followers, so I hope you notice me. I'd want and hope to speak with you via video call to clear my uncertainties. ✍✍✍✍✍

The 3pd has gotten better through exercises challenging the cerebellum, however, not completely resolved. I am curious does having tinitus alway lead to vestibular issues or this visual vertigo? I'm not sure and don't know if that is something you can answer because each individual is different, I guess. Thank you again for this information I really appreciate your channel

    I have both tinnitus and vertigo, and when my tinnitus gets worse I get more vertigo. I take acetyl-leucine ( tanganil ) for the vertigo and I noticed it also helps the tinnitus. I read a study:
    "Acetyl-Leucine slows disease progression in lysosomal storage disorders"
    Could tinnitus be caused by a lysosome problem, whereby not enough cleanup is done in the cells?

    • @Battery-kf4vu
      @Battery-kf4vu 6 месяцев назад

      @@hf023 No, acetyl leucine is different. In France it is sold under the name tanganil, if you are in another country ask your doctor.
      After one year of taking it, I can confirm that it works. It takes about 30 minutes to take effect. It doesn't solve the problem completely but at least it reduces the ringing in the ear.
      There is another precription drug that works, it's cymbalta, which is cymbalta. Cymbalta is usually prescribed for fybromyalgia and depression. The problem with it is that it is difficult to stop it after. You really feel like crap for like one month after you've stopped. But it reduces the tinnitus. But it doesn't get rid of it long term.
