That’s what brought me to this video as well and when she’s talking about being swatted and says “I’m still alive if I’m online” is incredibly eerie considering how abruptly that last stream ended. I wasn’t familiar with her before this, I really hope she okay and is safe.

I watched this a few weeks ago and felt surprised by how she was so disconnected with content creation and what she does on her platforms, since most who are successful at least have some passion for what they do. It all makes so much sense now. I hope she gets out safe and can start doing what she really cares about soon. I am worried about her.
The part about her dating made my stomach turn, the fact she wanted to share she was married and her husband wouldn’t let her is such a red flag and manipulative.
I'm selfishly glad someone else felt that. I always respected what she was achieving but her content was never something I personally enjoyed or engaged in because to me it felt like something was...missing. It had a vibe I couldn't quite put my finger on and now it all makes sense, unfortunately in a sinister way. According to some sources she's with good, trusted people. Hopefully she can get out because this situation is horrible, no ones deserves, or even should have to go through what she's gone through.

im really worried about all the people who learn about amouranth through this video for the first time. (disclaimer: i dont hate her and i dont watch her tw, i just think the answers she gave in this specific interview are not exactly accurate) this is like the same person that's been telling people that if they watch her stream and don't sub they should get a job instead of watching her twitch and when they finally get the money they should sub lmfao. i'm not saying she didnt get stalked and/or death threatened and so on and so forth, it happens to many internet figures for different reasons, tho i don't see why she would get surprised by death threats considering the amount of controversy she purposefully brings up on stream to spice it up (again i do not watch her stream, just stumbled over multiple articles and videos of the stuff she said). apparently shes also bribing members of twitch moderation team members so that her tw acc doesn't get banned? it's just hearsay, so don't exactly take my word for it about the tw mod bribing thing.

exactly! the people watching her streams are there because that's the content they want (whether they want to praise it or hate on it). the closest those viewers are getting to watching "real" streamers are ones basically doing the "when you try to _______ but trip and accidentally _______" meme (things like "when you try to finish that project but trip and accidentally get a new tattoo instead"). no one is going on twitch to watch streamers play (non-lewd) video games and accidentally watch tub streamers instead. the only channels that would lose viewers are ones playing hunie pop or something, in which case the viewer was absolutely not planning on watching for the gameplay or the streamer.

amouranth genuinely seems like such an amazing person, and i feel like an asshole for thinking so lowly of her every time i see her thumbnails pop up on twitch. i guess because i felt like she was making other female streamers look bad? but there's nothing wrong with both sexual and non-sexual female streamers doing their own thing on the platform.
The only thing I've seen other top female (gaming) streamers say about her is how impressive they find her work ethic!
But there IS something wrong with sexual streamers being on a site that openly includes CHILDREN. How are so many people just dismissing this?! I feel like I'm in an alternate reality at this point. I'm the odd one out because I think it's fucked up to livestream softcore porn to underage persons. It is NOT an adult-only site, it is so far from that. It is a site that was focused on primarly video games, for years. People of all ages are welcomed on Twitch, that has always been the case. These women take advantage of the fact that teen boys frequent the site, and Twitch takes advantage of that same fact cause they know the boys will come for the video games and stay for the easily accesible porn--that means more money for Twitch. It's absolutely disgusting and I'm disgusted with everyone who is apparently ok with this under the guise of "female empowerment." Female empowerment has zero correlation with making porn for kids and grooming them to give you money as soon as they have any disposable income. But I dunno, I guess I'm crazy for thinking that way. I must just hate women 🤷♀️

I don't really know who she is outside of this interview but I honestly both respect and feel sorry for her. She's doing what the heck she wants with her body and I love that but the hate and creepy stalkers sounds overwhelming. To find out she's basically only doing it to be able to afford an animal sanctuary is very sweet of her. I think she understands the system/algorithm and she knows what people want - to be fair, whether she showed anything or not, how many people would be making pages dedicated to finding those sorts of pics of her anyway? Look at how much female streamers (e.g Pokimane) are sexualised without posting any kind of provocative content.
