Ludwig’s mannerisms are so interesting to me. I don’t watch him much, but he’s so attentive and actually seems to listen while he’s talking to Anthony, asking questions and genuinely being involved, yet he comes off as very laid back, mellow, not super hyper in this scenario. Seems like a refreshing human to talk to.
He has streams where he plays with viewers sometimes, and it genuinely impresses me how he makes it easy for the viewer to interact with him. He knows when he can rag on someone and when he needs to be the butt of the joke. You don't see that often in other streamers
this is probably my favorite anthony interview. it’s not a one-way interview, it’s a conversation! you guys have great chemistry and this was so fun to watch
Lud is literally a main character, he has a sad backstory, character development and a cool sensei who teaches him about life. edit: atrioc is the twist villain
Ludwig has slowly become my favorite streamer/youtuber because of how well he talks live. It doesn't feel overly edited or edited at all and he delivers stories great. Also interacts with chat a lot which makes it entertaining
i agree, i watch his videos every now and then, not really his streams, but hes my favorite streamer 'person' by far cause he seems to be one of the most genuine/down to the earth and actually listens to what other people are saying
This is pretty much exactly the comment I wanted to write. I first saw Ludwig during The Great Among Us Era and he grew on me really quickly and now I can't stop watching him. He's so real and charismatic and funny and always has something pretty entertaining going on today. Plus I just like to watch him get angry during Jump King-esque games.
I like how this episode feels more like a conversation than a QnA. Part of that is Ludwig's talent and asking good questions, but some very interesting conversations between both Anthony and Lud.

I agree with it feeling like a conversation. It’s weird, a lot of the time people hate when others talk about themselves or don’t give them space to talk, but in videos, all we do is listen, and it’s great.
You can really tell Ludwig is very emotionally intelligent. I can totally see him being a great friend, totally empathetic and probably gives great advice when you really need it.
I think this is some of the best back and forth dynamic that's ever been on the show, at a certain point it stopped feeling like an interview at all and turned into a great conversation poking at life's curiosities. I'd love to see more content with you both down the line. Amazing stuff as always Anthony

I've never heard of Ludwig before but I'm glad I watched this video. This was a much more eloquent and thoughtful conversation than I was expecting and it was a genuine pleasure to watch.
Wow. My dad died when I was 15, the anniversary of it was exactly 8 years and 2 weeks ago. I definitely have been trying to love life through the same perspective as Ludwig was talking about because going through that, let alone at a young age, changes you no matter what. And I know my dad would rest easier knowing I’m living life rather than fearing it
I’m a competitive smash player and even tho I haven’t watched much Ludwig content, I can’t praise him enough! The amount of his own resources he gives to the smash scene makes a huge difference, and today one of the people from my local scene is competing at Ludwig’s event after Ludwig flew him out. It’s too lit.
I know this is nearly completely unrelated but Ludwig mentioning the novel of something ending and how it's novel because it ended and nothing will ever happen like that again, reminded me so much of Unus Aunus because it's similar where there will never be anything like that again and the greatest thing about it is that it happened. Just a neat thought i guess
I love how Anthony and Ludwig are talking like friends and still doing the whole YouTubing, occasionally talking to the audience. It’s brutally sincere yet also entertaining.
It really shows that Ludwig can’t help bring out his inner interviewer and take hold of the conversation as well and asked questions to Anthony. Having two very sociable personalities that interview really made this video a lot more entertaining because it felt like a convo rather than just asking questions and the person meekly responds.
i really enjoy the fact that anthony padilla is able to talk about himself and the other person during the interview. he’s able to admit things about himself and be vulnerable with the other person. it’s an amazing quality for this type of interview, im proud of you anthony.
This was such a different interview and I loved it. I love how it was back and forth questions, it really felt like we were spending a day with Anthony at the same time
I understand his mindset on death, one of my friends my age died when I was 8 years old. Seeing him in his casket was so strange, like I could see myself staring back at me. Loss is a weird and hard road, but also the biggest teacher.
The chemistry while watching this was impeccable. I laughed SO hard, I really appreciate how open Ludwig is to his viewers. Not someone who is like "this is just a job". He knows his influence and seems very level-headed. And Anthony seems so professional it's so interesting to see how alike they are thought-process wise. Best youtube video I've seen this month honestly!
Anyone who can wear bass sandals in a public forum is an absolute legend, and there's no faking that. Also, Anthony those tats are soooooo dope. I'm tempted to get something similar because you make them look so good. [edit: okay I wrote this before I finished the video, I did not know he was also going to compliment your tats... nice]
I enjoy all of the interviews, but this was my favorite. It was so real and fresh. It was more conversing than interviewing, and the chemistry between them was incredible
Even before watching the episode, I knew it would bang, because both Lud and Anthony's personalities flow well off each other. They match each other's energy so well!
29:18 Amazingly put Ludwig. I think thats such a massive thing to consider when pondering your own legacy, Because no, it really doesn't matter how long or short your legacy lasts because it never lasts forever. I wrote like a whole ass paper on that and I think it's such a frivolous goal to strive to be remembered and leave a legacy when it's sooo much more rewarding and important to focus on doing things that make yourself happy and and make an impact on others now, not 50 years after you're dead because you have zero control over that. A great movie that opened my eyes to that concept is A Ghost Story by David Lowery, y'all gotta check it out.
@@13scooter131313 Yeah, It came out well, wrote it for a class a semester or two ago. It was around 6ish pages or something, I think I got an a or b on it. I also compared that concept to the movie a ghost story (must watch), the game before your eyes (amazing game with a very creative mechanic that serves the incredible and simple yet very impactful story so well), and the song when I'm gone by phil ochs (absolute legend).
Of all the interviews Anthony's done, this felt like the best, most deep, and honest one. All the conversations and discussion were so refreshing, and that I learned so much about both of them. _This_ is what interviews in general should be like, really going deep and not just scratching the surface level.
I love how casual Ludwig is. He sets a comfortable atmosphere. This episode was down to Earth especially. It reminds me of the Paul Rudd Hot One's episode.
This may be my absolute favorite interview of all time. Two legends just chillin', chatting. I would watch you two in a podcast in a heartbeat. I feel held. I feel soothed. This was awesome and actually very thought provoking. Ludwig is a great conversationalist :')
this felt like a breath of fresh air, not saying that your other videos are bad, they're not, but this interview was one of my favourites because you got asked questions too! sending love your and ludwig's ways
You've interview some of my favorite people on this platform and yet this might be my favorite episode ever. It was so fun listening to you two banter and fuck around.
This is one of the best interviews Anthony has ever done! The format was different and felt more like a conversation (both sides commenting/sharing/connecting) instead of the question-answer-question format. Awesome job!
ludwig is a menace, i loved this interview! esp the bits where ludwig was also asking questions, that was hella refreshing. i guess interviewing someone who talks so well pays off
I lost my father as well when with as ten and I didn’t realize till this interview how much Ludwig and I have in common with our beliefs and mindsets because of that. Great video as always! I especially enjoyed this interview!
Love this interview! Ludwig's conversational skills really paid off here, it made the interview more engaging and a good back and forth. Very interesting vid to watch!
i keep coming back to this interview because you both are just so educated and interesting to listen to. would love an updated interview with Lud some time in the future
this was genuinely the most enjoyable and easy flowing interview on here ive seen in a while! the conversation was always engaging and enjoyable while at the same time being raw and real and honest. there seemed to be a mutual understanding of communication and listening that made you guys wanna go off on a tangent and talk about other things too. i honestly hope anthony and lud can keep some sort of a relationship after this because it seemed like you two really got along :)
Wow. Ludwig and Anthony play off each other unbelievably well. No wonder we got such a long video today. So many interesting conversation points for both. ☺️
This interview was probably one of the best ones in Anthony's "I spent a day with" series because like it just felt like 2 chill dudes just chatting about life and shit in a not so boring way. And the way there were movements where Ludwig was like interviewing him back like actually paying attention to what he's saying and asking questions back. It didn't even feel like an "interview" but like just a fun long conversation which was just pointless at times but then deep and meaningful yk so like a perfect balance
when you have two people like anthony and lud talk, you get a seamless interview that flows beautifully; doesn't even feel like an interview! great job
It's cool to learn new things about Ludwig, since I'm a relatively new viewer I didn't know that he lost his dad at 10. I lost mine at 12, so I found it cool to listen about his experience and relate in some way or another
I love how this interview is so conversational. Obviously I learned a lot about Lud, but him asking Anthony relevant questions and riffing off of them was really refreshing
I don't really watch him but this was very enjoyable to watch, I love how he also asked questions and was just very honest it felt more like a conversation than an interview
Anthony you are really good at interviewing. The way you simplify what people say to make us understand and they themselves approve it is something I haven’t seen in other interviews. Keep doing what your doing 😊
You both are amazing! This felt more like a conversation than an interview! I don't watch a lot of Ludwig's stuff, but I'm always impressed when I watch him. He's charming, charismatic, and entertaining! I love the energy he bounces off of Anthony. Great conversations! Awesome episode!
probably one of my absolute fav interview of yours! Ludwig, i love the way you think about things in life, some of the things you both mentioned really resonated with me, thank you for helping me find clarity on things i didn't know i needed to work on. Keep up the amazing work, both of you and your crews!

@Kavetion wtjehehrjtj
@Kavetion I'm better than Kavetion
@@ssupermarlo I'm better then sonic exe gaming
I think he’s 5’10, he seemed 2 inches shorter than Anthony (who was wearing 1 inch shoes)
@@tiny2315 yea maybe
I'm happy you got Lud in to interview you. Was very insightful into Anthony Padilla
You've interview some of my favorite people on this platform and yet this might be my favorite episode ever. It was so fun listening to you two banter and fuck around.
Ya Lud is such a cheerleader
Like 12 minutes and then I only just now noticed Ludwig’s shoes-
A fashion icon honestly
This is one of the best interviews Anthony has ever done! The format was different and felt more like a conversation (both sides commenting/sharing/connecting) instead of the question-answer-question format. Awesome job!
ludwig is a menace, i loved this interview! esp the bits where ludwig was also asking questions, that was hella refreshing. i guess interviewing someone who talks so well pays off
i always love anthony's interviews, the people he in interviews are always so interesting! keep up the great work!
fr he makes people feel comfortable too
always
@Kavetion i feel like you arent because you have extremely disrespectful and ignorant videos on your channel regarding someone's father passing away
@Kavetion did anyone ask
I felt that speech of needing to be so sound with yourself that no other human could rock your steady core.
Very interesting vid to watch!
this is actually so interesting, it feels like the interview is going both ways, ludwig is interviwing anthony back and the dynamic is so nice
i keep coming back to this interview because you both are just so educated and interesting to listen to. would love an updated interview with Lud some time in the future
this was genuinely the most enjoyable and easy flowing interview on here ive seen in a while! the conversation was always engaging and enjoyable while at the same time being raw and real and honest. there seemed to be a mutual understanding of communication and listening that made you guys wanna go off on a tangent and talk about other things too. i honestly hope anthony and lud can keep some sort of a relationship after this because it seemed like you two really got along :)
I think this is the best interview you've done so far. I was so enthralled the entire time
can we just have a podcast of both of them pls I need more of this. They've got amazing chemistry
The whole being okay with failure portion really resonated you guys spoke some beautiful and powerful words thank you 🙏🏽
when you have two people like anthony and lud talk, you get a seamless interview that flows beautifully; doesn't even feel like an interview! great job
I love this new style! Its more personal and feels more like a conversation, while simultaneously I learn more about you and the interviewee.
It's cool to learn new things about Ludwig, since I'm a relatively new viewer I didn't know that he lost his dad at 10. I lost mine at 12, so I found it cool to listen about his experience and relate in some way or another
This was such a fun fun interview you both pushed each other and taught each other!!!
I love how this interview is so conversational. Obviously I learned a lot about Lud, but him asking Anthony relevant questions and riffing off of them was really refreshing
Great job to the producer Elise Felber!! Happy to see you doing great things Elise! Love Anthony and love Ludwig on this interview!
This was so interesting. You guys vibe so well together!
You guys have a great comedic chemistry, a ludwid anthony podcast would be insane
People would 1000% pay for Ludwig's Stand Up special
This interview's energy is so different, it's more like a chilling session / conversation
it’s been a year and nobody mentioned this man’s shoes like what
I don't really watch him but this was very enjoyable to watch, I love how he also asked questions and was just very honest it felt more like a conversation than an interview
Anthony you are really good at interviewing. The way you simplify what people say to make us understand and they themselves approve it is something I haven’t seen in other interviews. Keep doing what your doing 😊
It's a very basic and commonly used tactic in conversation, but yes, he does it well
Definitely my favourite episode yet.
Ludwig is amazing in so many ways and I feel like the conversation went really smoothly between you two.
Hearing you two talk about why you have your vices really resonated with me. Thanks you for that
4:45 real ones know but that phrase brought back so many memories i literally remember a video of him saying “beeiiiitchh” like 10 different times
Ludwig turned this from an interview into a conversation, he’s so good at that.
love how it slowly goes from Anthony interviewing lud to lud interviewing Anthony
I enjoyed this format of interview a lot more than the past ones
Ludwig is an absolutely awesome person, because lt goes on to show how everyone can be a streamer, but not everyone can be like ludwig, and with that amount of confidence and public speaking abilities!
