the quality is not "surprisingly" good. They have been selling them without any change since 1984. They are not some shit from tiktok, the are actually vintage XD. And build quality is good, they feel cheap, but I have those for 4 years, and nothing beside foam pads didn't break.
I have been buying them for decades now. Usually I need to change them due to a terrible accident like dropping them in the garage and running them over with my car .
