He may not be the most well-known guy out there, but this guy has a passion for food that is different from many other people that I've seen. A genuine love for food that everyone can relate to. Nothing classy like higher end chefs, but they believe in simple dishes that normal people at home would make. Love this guy, and I believe he deserves more recognition. Give this guy some time on the tube!
It's always good to see someone who can make a cooking video interesting and not a boring, dragged out 10 minute video of agony. I'm gonna try this tonight - thank you, good sir.
i dont know to judge your cooking skills, but am sure the way you teach us to cook and give us tips are amazing, i tried today this dish and it has come superbly, liked it so much.
I tried this today with just 2 changes I used Garam masala powder in the end instead of the whole spices used in the beginning and used some regular green chilies. It tastes, smells and looks exactly like the restaurant stuff. Thanks a lot.
I've just cooked this, but without cashews and with some cream at the end. Omg, delicious!! The best chicken tikka masala recipe. Very spicy and rich taste
Food always tastes better when it's cooked on a stick. This video takes away some of the anxiety of cooking Indian food. Nice video. Thanks for posting.
I love this guy! I like his personality and his Recipes are Awesome. I wish he had a restaurant that was close to me. I would have my whole family and friends be loyal to his restaurant. We all love Indian Food.
Ode to chicken tikka...."It burns my senses and throws me back to days when life was simple. The sound, the chop chop chopping, the scent of spices roasting. The awakening disturbance of the blender, the time waiting for the chicken to be tender. The rice of course will judge a man/woman...the widening retinas take in the red roast charcoal and then the first bite. As if some dull opiate had been emptied to its drains. Heaven is here on my plate." Thank you Sanjay.
This is an awesome recipe.....thank you so much!!! My roommates are going gaga about with the house fillled with the aroma...for my semi-vegetarian roommate I substituted chicken with egg...since I didn't have paneer at the moment....and turned out great just like the chicken counterpart. YOU ARE AN AMAZINGLY GREAT CHEF!!! Everyone in my house is your big fan....and follow you on youtube regularly. Thanks once again.YOU TRULY INSPIRE US AND IT SHOWS WHAT A MAN WHO LOVES HIS PROFESSION IS LIKE!

I've never eaten at an indian restaurant before, but this looks amazing. I've actually had a variation of this at a friend's house for a dinner party once and it was incredible!
well i can finally say i managed to tackle this recipe. its the hardest thing i ever cooked in my life!!! chef makes it look sooo easy. good thing it turned out as one of the yummiest things i've ever cooked in my life. but omg, it made so much i'm going to be eating it all weekend long!! ty chef!!!!!!
I've just recently been getting into Indian cuisine and had a great spicy tikka masala today. Delicious! Now I think I'm ready to move to preparing some at home thanks to this video.
Wow !! I was afraid of cooking chicken tikka masala thinking that it wd b very tough to make it til I saw this video. U r such a good, intelligent chef , keep it up !! Its so yummy and delicious that even my kids liked it so much . Thanx chef !!
I just cooked chicken tikka masala and it came out so good. Thank you Sir for your awsome recipe. I am student living in US and its very hard for the beginners to cook food but not I can cook restaurant quality food at home. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made this one. it was outstanding. the tikka flavor was excellent, the chicken was juicy. I will make this one again. and again and again. thanks vahchef!
Chef, you not only have great recipes but you have wonderful personality. It's always pleasure to watch you. And mind you, I m vegetarian. I still watched it because you are so entertaining.
thanks! I love the way this turned out, even though I didn't have the right spices (used Jamaican curry and graham masala ) and used cottage cheese instead of yogurt. I made a large dutch oven full and we didn't mind eating leftovers, it gets better every day. I'm going to try it again today with eggplant instead of chicken.
Thank you very much for this recipe. My friends say that after this, every indian restaurant's Chicken Tikka Masala is lacking!!! It is a really tasty and beautiful recipe! I am really grateful to you!
Hi You are great chef. Keep it up. I tried your Pav Bhaji. I use to hate cooking but since i saw your recipies i just love cooking and wanna be a great cook. Please please show me how to make besan dhokla. Thanks
hahaha this guy was funny. the way he was eating and cooking at the same time made great comedy. you can tell he was really enjoying the chicken. thanks for posting! will try it out.
VahChef, I appreciate the fact that you use fresh ingredients instead of canned products in this recipe. I had to cook this two times because when I made it the first time, I ate the chicken tikkas after cooking them and there wasn't anything left to add to the masala. The marinade was absolutely perfect and the tikkas were delicious. When I made it the second time, I followed all the steps and the dish was heavenly! :) The only thing that was not mentioned in the recipe was the temperature of the stove for cooking the chicken tikkas and the onions. This info helps amateur cooks like me who assume everything can be cooked on high flame. But, I kinda read between the lines when you said that we should cook the dry masalas on low flame. :)
+VahChef: There are so many, I donno which one to choose next. Can you recommend your fav chicken dish which is easier than tikka masala? Over the next few weeks I'll try your Chicken 65 recipe and Channa masala recipe.
this guy is great! that's a lot of ingrediants. i'm glad i can buy the tikka masala sauce pre-made. i just have to add chicken. but i'm sure the finished product is nothing compared to the real deal.
I agree. He always have the highest hit among food programs on RUclips. For some reason most better professionals are also better persons. I have not seen anybody saying anything bad about the program (some may not like the food - that's different story)

Wow, this is a great video that explains clearly. I agree with previous posters that he will become a well known you tuber chef for us foodies. He tells us why to do it the way its done; and he radiates joy. Just watching is a pleasure and as much fun as the anticipation that someday I might actually make some of these meals myself.
This looks terrific! Compared to other chicken tikka masala recipes, this one seems so much more flavorful with its blend of spices. I love to watch you eat the food you are cooking, too. It makes it so much more appetizing! I can almost taste it! :)
