Don't care about those people who said you can't speak English, because it's not true at all! I understood literally everything, keep going & very nice recipe :)
This is true- it makes you wonder why "adults" have such a low maturity level!!!🤔 I appreciate you writing this post. Overall this is a message that needs to go over a lot of social media platforms!
Everyone complaining about straining the gravy. If you want your gravy silky smooth strain it. If you rather prefer your gravy chunky then dont strain it, simple as that.
His English is fantastic, but his accent can be difficult for some. I also heard "3 years", but it isn't hard to figure out he was saying 3 hours. It just took a second.

I don't usually comment, but wow! I made this for my friends and they were blown away. Your precise instructions were the difference. You've just gained a follower!!
I made it yesterday... And it turned out really well.... I agree that in a few parts of the video, understanding his words is not easy, but if you've ever stepped into the kitchen and know cooking, you should be able to follow... The instructions he's shared is super easy to follow.... Just cut and keep all the ingredients aside, that need to be chopped.. Thank you for this video....
We tried your recipe as we love Indian food. It was by far the best chicken tikka masala ever. Me husband asked for instant repeat and offered to help, this says it all 😀 thank you very much for sharing, another triple amount is on the way to be cooked….

This is absolutely the best chicken tikka. I have done it several times with only the chicken marinade and the chickens where to die for!!! Then time when I have time I make the masala. Omg it's the BESSSSSSSSSSSSSSST
Ive made a lot of tikka masala recipes and I found this one last year and it was BETTER than my favorite Indian restaurant. Seriously done sleep on this! I come and remind myself how to make it everytime I want it again, which is at least every 3 weeks! Great job!!!! 👍
Are you sure it’s an ‘Indian’ restaurant? Certainly if you’re from the UK? Little known fact, but whilst many say they’re going for an ‘Indian’, the vast, vast majority of so-called Indian restaurants are actually Pakistani or Bangladeshi owned/run. My immediate next door neighbour in the UK who ran (still runs) our local curry house for 40 years told me this factoid. Despite calling himself ‘Ken’ he was actually Bangladeshi. So, in the UK at least, or unless you’re absolutely certain, better to say you’re going for a curry or to a curry house, than an Indian. And if you want outstanding ‘Indian’ curry, head to Southall in West London. Outstanding, authentic, cooked for Indians curry. 👍
@@leangrypoulet7523 thanks for the input 😊 I live in the US but what Ill typically do is find chefs or home cooks online that cook dishes their region and then Ill go to the international grocery and collect the ingredients to make myself. When I go out to eat and notice something Ive made and liked, Ill try it. Not gonna lie, usually I prefer to make it at home. Im so disappointed when I get bland food thinking thats what the majority palates want.
I'm Vietnamese Canadian, and I've watched a dozen other videos on curry recipes, and this is one of the better, well-explained ones I've come across. Good job!! Looks tasty!
This the best of the RUclips recipes for Chicken Tikka Masala that I have seen and tried - and I even found a source of Fenugreek leaves at my local supermarket. I also add some freshly chopped coriander leaves at the end.
Your video is the best authentic Tikka Masala recipe on RUclips so far. I really enjoyed how you explained everything in detail. Thank you for sharing. My mouth is watering! LOL
Hi Lalit . A very good try .I tried it today the recipe came out perfect . Thanks much. Please do not get discouraged by silly comments. You will be fine . Good Luck.

Thanks for sharing. Delicious and better than most restaurants I’ve tried. Made this for the last family gathering and now it looks like I’ll be stuck making this for all future gatherings.
This is one of the best Tikka Masala I've done so I kept following this recipe over and over. Only today I realised that I actually met Lalit Kumar at IHG in London. He's one of the head chefs. I had to look twice at his name because I couldn't believe it, haha. Thank you, chef, for this delicious recipe and for your hard work in the IHG kitchen.
That looks....incredible. Definitely going to make it this weekend. Edit: I tried making this. It was spicy but good. Blending and straining the sauce really made it nice and velvety. Don’t skip this step. Good texture and mouthfeel.
This is a very good recipe! I just did it today. The only things I did differently was I baked the chicken in the oven instead of frying. And I didn’t strain the sauce. The blender made is just fine and smooth. Very good!
Can’t remember, just something online...but I don’t usually blend my sauce when I cook chicken tikka masala, however I took my time and blend them as the video stated, I even waited until my sauce gets a bit cooler so that I won’t have explosion or accident of any sort, they came out perfect every time. I have been cooked may times now since it’s a success, I also use fish to cook exactly the same way since we have a lot of fish on hand and my family absolutely loved this recipe! I am going to cook this recipe even more when my homegrown tomatoes ripe in a few weeks!
Don't care about those people who said you can't speak English, because it's not true at all! I understood literally everything, keep going & very nice recipe :)
They need to just say thank you when someone gives them a free recipe, not comment so much negative stuff
Those people are low IQ people and are trying to bully him for probably speaking English better than them
Your English appears perfect to me. I’m an Australian living in the USA. So whoever can’t understand clearly has their own issues in life.
"Good things need more time spent" well said my friend:)
I'm from Poland and understand. Many people don't understand them selfs ..why they would understand somebody whom is not a part of their imagination
This video was amazing! please dont listen to these rude comments...People are so ridiculous!

Really I heard him saying you have to marinate chicken for 3 years
His English is fantastic, but his accent can be difficult for some. I also heard "3 years", but it isn't hard to figure out he was saying 3 hours. It just took a second.
