You're too kind! Unfortunately the After Effects videos on RUclips are so saturated, that mine get buried under ones with much better quality. And I'm by no means and After Effects pro, I just know a little. I've also started taking on other projects which took my time from making these videos. Thank you! Very helpful video! Can AE also be used to make a custom alert animation for SLOBS?
You can! But you'll have to use it in conjunction with SLOBS text labels for each alert. Another idea would be to use SLOBS websocket API and develop a custom solution that way, or use the built-in SLOBS HTML/CSS/JS that it allows you to use on each alert. I have videos for those coming as well. ^_^

Hey I’m a beginner the video is great but when I go to move the created mask to the middle it won’t let me and drags the first eclipse with it
When i go to add my my eclipse over logo it does not come up a full circle like your did right away please help as i can not figure that out and why yours did. if i cant fix it then it is a eye ball share and looks wrong when and not circle when zooming out with the rest? please help everything else is great

please HELP. i was wondering if any of you guys can answer my question about why my stinger transition lags half the time.
ive tried my best to use different file types with different sizes, AVI, FLV, MP4, WEBM with WEBM being the smalles at 1mb, but it still lags.

i made a transition but it is too small in Obs Streamlabs
how do i make the background transparent bcz its black when i start Ae
It's actually transparent, AE just shows it as black so you can see your stuff on top of it. As long as you don't add a solid or anything to the background, it'll stay transparent. You can toggle the transparency for the BG under the comp view. The button looks like a checkerboard, to the right of the view quality dropdown.
I dont use Adobe... I use something called Cyberlink Powerdirector. Possible to apply a video or file type to be set as stinger?
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking me. You can use any video type as a stinger, but the best results come from ones that support alpha transparency such a .mov or .webm.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have an image, and I was wondering if I could replace the stale blue color with that image, same effect but with the image I have in mind, so far all I could find out is how to use a gradient not an image. I assume I need to start figuring out how to use the mask tool for that but I am not sure at all!
Oh for sure. You would just animate the mask instead of the shape layer. To create the mask on it, click on your image layer, double-click the Ellipse tool and it'll create the mask. Then just reshape it however you want and animate the "Mask Path"

toggle the transparency grid beside the active camera dropdown menu
how do you start off with a transparent background?
In the middle there is a text saying "active camera" to the left of that there is a screen with transparent inside. Press it and delete your background (if you have a solid or something) then you will get it.
Remeber to render at rgb + alpha if you use png :)

You don’t add another key from at frame 90.. might have been something happening my end but even now it’s doesn’t add the key frame?
You negated the fact that the output file is several gigabytes and you CANNOT make that a stinger in Streamlabs. You will want to tell your audience that
A stinger, lossless or not should never be that large considering it's a 3 second file. Side note, you can use any size file as a stinger. Since the stinger framework is built from OBS, which can also easily support multi-gig file sizes, SLOBS inherently has no issues with it.

one of the more troubling tutorials, you should try writing a script or actually having the video planned out because i had several strokes trying to understand your stuttering and backtracking.

@@brnktv Im sorry i was mean man, this video just had me going back and forth the entire time, also you timekey graph doesnt look like mine. Yours were curved lines but mine were straight lines. i went over the video 3 times to see where i went wrong, if i went wrong, and nothing changed.
@@TheRealBangz It's all good. I understand people get frustrated. I don't write scripts or plan because the videos are free, and I don't ask for subs and likes. I get right to the point and sometimes I might skip a thing or 2, but no one else has had any issues with this video. But what you probably missed was hitting F9 on the keyframes to make them easy-ease, that's where the curve comes from. Good luck.
BRNK ahhhh ok thank you, i didnt realize i had to hit F9 every single to time i selected a keyframe, this was literally my first time opening afterfx so i was beyond lost with some of the terms throughout the video but thank you, it was good, i was just frustrated in the moment
