Please tell how can I get good maps for map animations please please it will be a huge help I tried many maps from Google and other softwares but when I zoom in it blures the viwe plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Yes very but this video isn't for beginners - at least for intermediate users that understand how to get to the adjustments and tools that are used. The presenter also does a lot of changes and adjustments but doesn't explain 'why' - the depth of field and aperature settings is a good example of that. He just says to do x y and z but doesn't fully explain that by doing so, you're making the map have that miniature model visual effect. I haven't been using AE that long, maybe about a month or less, but I made a 30 second video during that month and learned a lot of the controls and the way certain keyframes behave, easy ease, etc.. I found this tutorial video when I first started using AE and watching this tutorial BEFORE I made a video vs after making one and my understanding of the concepts and instructions presented here are night and day. I understand everything now and its application rather than a month ago when I was basically just copying what he does without understanding why I was doing these actions and expecting good results, which isnt the ideal way to do any tutorial. My suggestion is make like any type of video you want, learn how to do the basics through that process and videos like this will make a lot more sense. You won't be trying to copy his every move, click and value input but rather follow his concepts and apply it on your own with his assistance rather than straight replication which, yes, would be very difficult to follow verbatim in this video.
You clearly have the knowledge and I appreciated the content. You went through some commands so quickly, it was difficult to understand you. Had to watch multiple times how you get from step a to step b. I do not know how you utilized the search option multiple times and I wish you took the time to show it step by step. Assume that people don't know rather than people know it.
Nice tut.. Cheers! Do you have (or can make) a similar tutorial.. With the zooming in from above earth down to a specific location? (with google earth or similar)

I just following your tutorial but I have problem, when I click on "PEN TOOL", there I see square icon below pen tool symbol and after 2 click of pen tool on map, square table showed. Please guide me how to disable it?
Pretty interesting tutorial, seems really simple yet impressively effective, thanks a lot! If I may throw just a couple suggestions... it would take a bit longer to render, but since you're using 3d layers and cameras, you could also add a light so that the location pin would really throw a real shadow on the map. It would also add some realism to the map itself. Or, if we're going to go with the not-RAM-consuming version, instead of adding a drop shadow to the location pin you could have added a copy of it, make it black and almost transparent, and keep it unrotated so it would "project" on the map.
@@lukkaku He suggested that we could just create a "light" on the map so that can have a more real feeling of the shadow. That is the logical in doing 3d rendering

part 2 of this tutorial would be great - how to make that pin mark look real 3d as per -clickbait- thumbnail image 😉
Agreed. That thumbnail is really deceiving. I think an actual 3D software like Cinema4d would be required, or element 3d, for that. Tsk.
