  • This technique is used to bleed a hydraulic clutch release system and injects the fluid through the slave cylinder bleed screw, forcing the air up and out of the clutch master cylinder. For instruction bulletins and additional videos by our part number go to www.clutchtechsupport.com

And Make Sure The Clutch master cylinder is the correct one. I got 2 Diff Ones from Orielys both wrong where-by The Clutch master Cylinder Plunger rod was a Tiny Bit TOO Long so The Reservoir Couldnt Allow fluid To Go Into The Chamber to Even be Bled out. 3rd One from diff Place worked so good all i had to do was Pedal pump it for air bleeding

So using this method doesn't require the clutch to be held in or worked at all? I mean while the parts are on the vehicle still. I tried this a couple days aho with a pretty weak pump, but had someone hold the clutch in. Big mistake or...? Thanks for the responses.

I installed a slave cylinder on a C3500 and now it’s harder than the brakes.

Where can I get one of these tools? It seems forcing fluid in through the bleeder valve is my last hope.

***** I'm working on an 85 GMC C2500. The clutch slave cylinder has the bleeder valve pointing straight up, so it shouldn't be too hard, but it's proving difficult.

Ebay >>> Costs about $100 & get a Bigger Fluid canister (16 oz) & get a Gasket/O ring For the top of it bcz it leaks air & F's up the Whole process. be prepared bcz after over 700 Pumps either vacumn or pressure Pump or Clutch Pedal itself , My System Has too much air in it & Connections are tight. .... SOL 4 Me Sofar!!! .... I had friends say they would come over & Help but they dont show up so make sure you have Honest friends to help you. .........

yes and NO NO NO. Bleed nipple for clutch is on top of the gearbox and the slave is the type inside not exterior. I never knew about priming it so fitted the slave inside then fit the gearbox. As the bleed nipple is above you would think great air bubbles come up. Yep but I fear inside the slave is a place where bubbles get caught. Need to flush them out. I did squeeze the rubber Flexi above the bleed nipple with locking pliers. Clutch pedal went had. so defo the problem is in the slave. I then sucked all the air out and locked it with a vacuum before allowing only brake fluid inside. You would think. Great and now fixed. No not at all. Even though locking pliers on Flexi prove the system above worked well, I still changed the master cylinder on the clutch pedal. So as a last minute thing I read about injecting fluid into the system. If you undo the bleed nipple though surely air goes in via the thread. I always power bleed by pushing fluid from reservoir normally. Great. This time though no because as said its not the fluid coming down to the bleed nipple on the clutch. Its below that in the slave I want to be sure theres no air bubbles. Any idea?

Did you solve this issue? I'm bleeding a Tilton 6000 series hydraulic release bearing and it didn't say anywhere to prime before install. My clutch pedal only comes up halfway and I think it's air in the system still.
I power bled the system at 15psi through 2 full quarts of fluid and no bubbles are coming out. Still no improvement

@@walirifai no mate I just drive the van. Done 5000 miles like it. I knew I would get used to it being like that. Sometimes I even flip my foot underneath it and bring it back to max half way with the tops of my toes. Don’t think about it ever. Power bleed never sorted it. New master never sorted it. Damn concentric slave rubbish.
