Best method, I spent 2 days trying to bleed the clutch fluid on a 2005 honda accord and tried different methods but this is the only one that worked. If the fluid doesn’t go through the slave cylinder when you pump it try loosening the nut a little more

Far & away the best method to bleed either the master clutch or slave cylinder on Honda Civic, and believe me I've tried them all. The pistol oil can method seems to pressurize the clutch line while removing air from the line. You can see the air bubbles come out the reservoir. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Thanks! So wasteful always buying parts and having to deal with shit shipping costs for the sake of cheap polotics! This video might help me with my jeep because the method seems simple, straight and to the point! I am pleased to find a video that is helpful. Wish me luck, I have to find a priming can before the job though! Thank god for youtube and people who are a part of this helpful community

if its a shared clutch/brake system, connect the output of the front wheel brake bleed nipple to a good quality hose, connect other end of hose to clutch bleed nipple, open both bleed nipples and start gently pumping on the brake until it reverse bleeds and pumps out all the air bubbles out of the clutch

@pitail that sounds like a really good idea, one thing I would add to this is to have someone shut the brake bleed nipple just before each up stroke of the brake pedal to stop air getting sucked through nipple threads, and also stop fluid getting pulled back from the clutch system.

Works great! I had enough money to buy one tool. I purchased a vacuum thingy. I was sucking air through the threads. So I fabricated a positive pressure from a clean bug sprayer. Worked great. Thanks!

Very clever technique- saves money V’s buying a reverse bleeder by using a simple oil can! Neat.

This method SHOULD BE IN THE MANUAL. I mean come on it’s completely common sense yet chrickets from overpaid engineers. I get along with a little help from my friends. Brilliant

It worked alright. Took forever. But I eventually just made a one man bleeder system with a 2 liter bottle and a hose that fits on the bleeder. Gravity feed or pressurized, works great
