Girl, I want you to know that most of your followers watch you because of your personality and not necessarily because you smoke. So if at any time you decide to quit smoking for your health, you will be fine you won’t lose any followers probably
As the famous British philosopher Alan watts once said “ no amount of anxiety makes any difference to anything that is going to happen” as someone who deals with it on a daily basis this quote really helps me in my time of need when it gets bad.
Well said. They have to make everything into huge deals and disorder because they are actually the ones thrive off of people being mentally challenged. So they make a big deal out of the emotion of anxiety when it is normal to feel anxiety in anxious moments. Actually think of who will be the first to go out of business if people one day woke up and said, "I'm cured of all mental disorders today" or "I'm ganna actually stand up and deal with my issues myself rather than going to some over rated person to just talk about my problems and waste my time and money"? It's the entire mental health industry. They need people to stay mentally ill, or keep lowering the bar for mental issues so that people keep visiting them.
i started exploring more weed based content creators, and i found you off of that. i dont smoke cigarettes, but i have been debating a long time if i wanna get into it. i most likely won't, but as i watch this while im high, i am appreciating this type of entertainment. thank you for the story and advice
I'd say don't, man. I started in my thirites and I knew I'd look back and think "what a stupid choive" and, indeed, I looked back and thought "what a stupid choice."
Listening you makes me sleepy and relaxed, you're chill asf. I've been in Porto, Faro and Lisboa, you Portugues are really cool guys. Thank you, keep what you doing.
You did an EXQUISITE job describing the anxiety you experienced when your eye was really, really red. What a relief when it turned out to be nothing harmful. Especially glad to hear that the cigarette you smoked after the ordeal was "exquisite" as well! That made me smile.... Definition of EXQUISITE: 1. a : marked by flawless craftsmanship or by beautiful, ingenious, delicate, or elaborate execution an exquisite vase b : marked by nice discrimination, deep sensitivity, or subtle understanding exquisite taste c : ACCOMPLISHED, PERFECTED an exquisite gentleman 2 a : pleasing through beauty, fitness, or perfection an exquisite white blossom b : ACUTE, INTENSE exquisite pain c : having uncommon or esoteric appeal 3 : carefully selected : CHOICE.
Stop smoking every once in a while to make sure you're not dependant on any substance. I gave up Alcohol for almost a year and I haven't smoked cigarettes in months, but I will when it feels right. Cigars have been my thing lately
Good job by the way, 2 weeks is impressive!!!!! I started playing around with cigarettes when I was 14 [cause it was "cool", cool guys did it, so I did it too!] it was one cigarette now and then (with friends) , then 1 cigarette now and then even when I was alone, then it became 2 cigarettes, and all I know is at 16 I had to smoke cigarettes everyday! (and there has NOT been a single day that I haven't smoked 😔) but smoking cigarettes and being addicted to it at 16 already taught me something, I felt what 'NOT BEING ABLE TO QUIT' meant on my own skin. Before experiencing addiction you think, I'll stop whenever I want, it's just 1 or 2 or 5 a day, not a big deal and more important "I can stop whenever I want!" [NOT!]. And there is the day that you can't fall asleep and wriggle and turn in your bed cause you didn't have your last cigarette before going to bed. And you go out at 3am in the morning to buy cigarettes, and you sleep like a baby after smoking a cigarette. That day you realize this shit is addictive and you experience "I can not stop doing this." But fortunately noticing I'm damn weak controlling myself with addictive substances, I just would get frightened even thinking about other addictive substances, so I kept my 100 meter distance (at least) with any of those materials (I'm double this young lady's age, back then in our parts of the world, there was "grass" (weed), hashish, opium, heroin) so I kept myself miles away from those stuff (being petrified) knowing that cigarette is the smallest of these addictions and I'm not even able to stop smoking cigarettes, if I joke with those other substances I'm 100% finished, 100% down the shit hole. Now a days there are scary shit out there, all sorts of scary extremely addictive substances, it's frightening. Young people want excitement, and that's natural, that's human nature, I wanted it too, I was curious and would get a kick out of smoking cigarettes as a kid (14,15) too, so you can't tell young people don't have excitement, don't try new things. I guess the only thing is to pray that they get out of it with the least addiction (or no addiction of any kind)
I always get a kick out of Portuguese and it's similar yet totally different relation to Spanish. For example, as I listened to your story, and you showed the word that resembles " ciego " I thought ohhhh shihhhh 😅 lol I get it!!
Yeah that I only smoke when I'm chill I copletely understand because me myself I'm dealing with chronic stress and I can't imagine to smoke if i'm not drunk or completely in peace because otherwise it would make me feel only worse so I'm glad i'm not dealing with this alone, anxiety is a bitch.
Connie: Just wanted to warn you, if it's not to late, don't do the extraction if it's an infection you have. Take an anti biotic for 2 weeks to get it cleared up first. I've even not have to have the extraction altogether. Most pain killer injections won't work when you have an infection. I forgot that rule on my last extraction and I never had such pain, screaming so they could hear me outside and in the waiting. I would get antibiotics in Mexico to take up north just for this if I developed an infection during the summer. Sometimes I wonder if dentists don't go into the professon cause they like creating pain. Just FYI Connie, byeeee Jim
Fordt of all, I love you and how excited you were. I think it's really funny the refrence you made about the elbow. I think it's more of a cultural thing and it reminds me of old time'y American quotes. They use to be almost always a puzzle and was ment for the kid to figure it out to get smarter. Sometimes things evolve bit I feel we should bring some of it back.
You are so funny. Very amusing tales! I am glad your eye is all better. You give us very good advice in your videos - perhaps you should start following them!
The complexity of habit formation and cessation, particularly concerning substance use, is deeply intertwined with a multitude of factors including cultural norms, societal pressures, and the human inclination to experiment with new experiences. Cultural norms often dictate what is considered acceptable or taboo, influencing individual choices about substance use. In some cultures, certain substances may be integrated into social rituals, making abstinence more challenging. Societal pressures also play a significant role. The desire to conform, coupled with the fear of social ostracism, can lead individuals to engage in or refrain from certain behaviors, including substance use. This pressure can be particularly potent in workplace environments or educational settings, where there's a collective expectation or unwritten rules about participation in such activities. Furthermore, the human tendency to seek new experiences can lead to experimentation with substances, often driven by curiosity or a desire for escapism. This experimentation can sometimes develop into habit-forming behaviors, especially in environments that implicitly or explicitly endorse such practices. The controversy arises when considering the balance between individual freedom and societal responsibility. On one hand, there's an argument for personal liberty in choosing one's lifestyle, including substance use. On the other, there's a concern for public health and the societal costs of substance abuse. This dichotomy makes the subject not only complex but also a ground for diverse, often conflicting, viewpoints. Thus, the journey towards substance use abstinence is not merely a personal struggle against a habit but is heavily influenced by a tapestry of cultural, societal, and psychological factors, each adding layers of complexity to an already challenging process.
I haven't smoked for one week now. Sometimes I really want it, but it's not that bad. (And I was smoking a lot, specially pure tabacco, not cigs, and it was like a pack.)
You think it's hard to quit smoking now ? It's only going to get much harder over time. Smoking is already causing damage that you don't even notice until it is too late. Please for your own good, consider quitting.
She is worried over an irritated eye, but not the warning label on the pack telling her she is at risk of going blind... and the thing is, if she was to go blind because of smoking, it's too late.

I've quit 4 times but have relapsed before a year every time. Longest I've made it was 10 months. I've learned if you aren't ready to quit you're always gonna end up relapsing.
Hello principessa conny
Stopping with smoking is one of the easiest addiction to stop. Try stopping sleeping meds, benzos
What a silly thing to say. Of course someone who’s gotten off benzos before is gonna think quitting smoking cigarettes is easy. If cigarettes are the only thing you’ve been addicted to, it’s going to be difficult to quit.
Smoking isn't easy to stop, what the hell? 💀
