How long did it take for you to kick the habit ? I've been smoking most my
life & when I ended up in the hospital cause my gallbladder & pancreas
failed & just about died twice & was in a coma for 3 mons, God gave me a
message that if I didn't change my lifestyle he wouldn't be there to save me.
He gave me a 2nd chance & I've made up my mind to start working on
changing my life & the 1st is to stop smoking the 2nd 1 is to get my
T-2-D (type-2 diabetes) out of my life what ever means possible & the 3rd
is to get my life back on track like I was B-4 I crashed.

@@unitedwestanddividedwefa-jd1zy it took me around 4 months to really break free from smoking mentally, but I had already quit smoking at that point. It took me 2 months of working with the CBQ Method to smoke my last cig. So after those first 2 months of preparing my mind to quit, I did. Then I just had to keep them out of my life and mind. The CBQ Method is the only thing that worked for me. It's different than quitting aids, it's a whole mindset change. Try it!

The reason why I smoke is simple, it gives a pleasant buzz and euphoria. Finding an emotional reason was more difficult, but I found: being able focus for several hours on the same thing without needing a smoke break. I was already committed to quitting, but having an emotional reason seems like it would help with motivation.

I've spent a lot of time in reflection of looking for triggers, benefits and reasons. I just don't have any. to least not consciously. It's been frustrating. I feel like there has to be some underlying reason I can't seem to quit, some psychological issue I need to face. I just can't find it.

I've made up my mind to make the change, after smoking most my life
& just recently landed in the hospital for 6 mons cause my gallbladder
& pancreas failed & almost killed me twice, that's when I made up my
mind AFTER I came out of a coma I was in for 3 mons from it all.
When I recovered & realized I could have died from my health issues
God gave me a sign that if I don't change my lifestyle he won't be
there to save me, so I have no other choice but to change my life
if I want to live & have a 2nd chance at a better life. 😇

Well im 48 hours into stopping smoking cigarettes and weed . Iv smoked for nearly 30 years and now its time to stop. Had cravings, had cold sweats,,, but im determined to do it. Iv decided on a cold turkey approach , its hard but so was learning to drive,, or learning to play drums .

I would encourage you to binge watch her videos. If you quit with the CBQ Method it shouldn't be hard like that. It was hard every other time I quit smoking but after learning the CBQ Method, it was the easiest thing I could ever imagine. Actually, I could never have imagined it to be easy. It really was, thanks to these videos, teaching all of the techniques.

Still getting the sweats but iv found keeping busy is helping. Iv watched a few more vids but iv found that if i think about what im doing i get a little craving. Il keep watching a few each day when i get time. To be honest, I feel pretty confident about this journey . Im expecting bad days but il deal with them.

I can't get past how pretty she is to pay attention to the message.anyway it's all in your head and the reason I say this is because I smoked for 30 years then went to jail where there was no smoking or cigarettes anywhere for three months and I never had the first craving, it didn't bother me at all.as soon as I got out I bought a pack at the store by the jailhouse and been smoking ever since but I can tell you for sure it's in your head.
