  • Today we will answer the ultimate question. Will Windows 11 run on a Raspberry Pi? With all the talk about Windows 11 system requirements, we need to find out if Windows 11 will run on the small low powered Cortex SOC in the Raspberry Pi 4. We already showed you how to install Windows 11 on a potato so why not a Raspberry Pi?

To be honest, it runs remarkably well considering that it doesn't have virtually any optimizations in place. It is might actually spawn into semi usable experience with proper gpu support and such.

Yeah, I saw those ridiculous prices all over Amazon last night. I thought they were bad months ago, but it got much worse apparently, about 4x what I paid for the 8GB board. At this point you can literally get a decent Intel Celeron mini PC device with a quad-core J4125 or N5095 CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB of m.2 storage for what sellers are now trying to charge for a barebones Pi 4B 8GB board. It’s madness. And the mini PCs of course include the case, power supply and expandable RAM and storage. Strangely the Pi 400 keyboard device has only gone up around $20, with or without the kit. It’s really too bad they never came out with a Pi 400 with 8GB RAM, it would have been far more useful.

Windows is currently installing on my raspberry pie. I followed this tutorial. It’s currently at the install process. I just missed windows after I bought a Mac and if I wanted to try a different operating system or raspberry. Pi is pretty easy to configure to a different operating system. This has been really fun. Thank you

@@infotruther you * can * run 10.2 using QEMU, but not any modern version. the sys requirements are too high and the M series of ARM chips that apple uses in moden devices are a very different instruction set than the broadcom ones in pis.

8GB of ram should enough for Windows 11. The problem here: even the drawing of the 2D graphics are using the weak CPU's power if somebody can write a GPU driver, this can be faster, if you debloat w11 it can boot faster.

    • @CyberCPU
      @CyberCPU  2 года назад +2

I didn't try debloating it but honestly I don't think it would make that much of a difference. Once it finishes the first boot It boots up pretty quick after that. It would definitely help to have a GPU driver.

Hi very different topic but i need some advice….
So today i was optimizing my pc and i did a couple things like turning on XMP for my RAM in bios, turning on MSI mode with a program i installed from your video. I did all this because my game called Rust was having shit fps all the time. So i started my rust after all the optimizations and my fps upped with like 40 frames staying around 100 all the time that is crazy for me. But when i checked my task manager i saw cpu was using 100% so downloaded a program to see how much degrees my cpu was and it said that my 4th core was doing the highest ( around 70 degrees). Do you know what the problem is and how to solve it?

sadly without gpu support it falls short in usability. a guy on youtube has been trying to get an external gpu working through the pci-e port on the pi to no avail, i wonder if this would work for win 11/10 installs as gpu support is already in the kernel unlike pi os?.

Hello SIr. Sorry for bothering you . I just want to ask you sir,why i cant install direct x after i fallowed your tutorial for creating a custom iso and removing all the bloatware. I fallowed the same steps,i disabled everything you have disabled. But after i installed it from my usb stick, i can not install direct x (web installer) .I get an error "An internal error has occured .Please reffer to dxerror.log in your windows folder to determine the problem". I didnt integrate any direct x when i created the iso ,because i need to pay for getting the file from their website. i thought i can install it after i boot the windows from usb and install drivers. Thanks in advance! I hope you can answer to me :D

    Hi.
    I need some help.
2 days ago, I first noticed 'COM surrogate' (Something I've never seen running in my task manager before).
I've done some research on the Internet.
Its the Dllhost.Exe in system 32(means its legit and not a virus).
    But why it's running now?
It takes only like 2.8mb of memory and nothing else.
I've reset my internet Explorer, deleted thumbnails, I've ran the program called 'process Explorer' to find out what's Dllhost.Exe is trying to access.
(Well I've found that, it's not trying to access anything at the moment.)
I've also reset all DLL files from command and DLL Javascript also.
And still I'm seeing 'COM surrogate' appearing in my task manager for few seconds and then disappearing and then coming back again after 20 seconds or 30.
    What is actually happening here?
I've also scanned for virus, with offline scan but I havent found anything.
Is it normal to see 'COM surrogate' running in my task Manger?
Because I've never seen it there before.
Should I reinstall my OS? (W10)
