      Agreed. My brother just bought an HP Core in with what I think was Windows 11 - it insisted he had access to Internet and a front facing camera.
      Anyhow the darn thing has 4Gb RAM. Windows at rest takes at least 3Gb. I was looking to install more RAM but HP don't give the spec (number of slots). Ok run CPUz or other scanner. Won't run - not signed by Microsoft.
      I think i will buy him a Pi4 8GB. Probably cheaper then RAM for the laptop :-)

    Cool video. I currently have a RazPi 4 2GB acting as my WiFi AP controller, but I'm tempted to get a second one (4GB Pi 4 or Pi400) to play with different ARM OSes like Windows 10/11 for ARM. It'd be ideal to have a working install of Windows 10 or 11 on a Pi-like device (the Pi400 is attractive to me because all I'd need is a mouse since it has a keyboard built-in) for me because when I travel to different anime conventions I attend having a small hotel room computer for my roommates and I to use would be great/convenient. I know right now it's really only meant for testing/tinkering, but by the time I get one and do this process it'll likely be more daily driver-able. I'll refer back to this video when that time comes! Thanks ETA Prime-sensei! haha

    On one hand it is amazing to see Windows running on a Pi at all, which was likely never really expected in the first place.
    So it is a pointer to the future.
    But the one thing that is so vital is the hardware acceleration that could make in viable for daily use. As long as that Achilles heel still exists then it is more of a demo than a practical proposition.
    It may however, inspire Microsoft to see untapped potential if is has the ability to see it.

      You mean a HAT...
      And it would be something I don't see happening. You would have a power draw needed for that HAT, but then, you need it to work with other HATs as well. Then there is making it work, and making it affordable. You also have to make sure it is possible with ARM architecture, as well.
      Then there is convincing people to buy a TPM HAT, and having Windows 11...
      A more logical alternative, would be to build an I/O board with TPM on it, for the Compute Module. But... why buy it? You have other, perfectly fine Operating Systems to choose from. And don't have such hassle.
      And TPM won't be on a fifth generation Raspberry Pi, as that would bump up the cost of the Pi, in money and space terms. So that would be out of the window, as well. (No pun intended. )
      So, I don't think TPM is ever coming to a Raspberry Pi, unless someone can provide a convincing argument for it to happen?

      Every windows version after that will be supported by arm from microsoft directly
      its not a port
      its official
      i mean .... Surface pro x is arm soooo yeah

    Can‘t you literally just paste the overclocking lines in the startup config field in the last step before writing the iso?

    As of jan 8th 2022, I tried it on a raspberry pi4 B 2gb and although it loaded, ethernet didn't work and as a result I couldn't connect online no matter what I tried. (tried both with overclocking and without) Somehow it didn't recognize ethernet port. Then I tried the same procedure but used Windows(Final Vrsion) & Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H2 [arm64] and no overclocking, although it took a few hours It finally worked perfectly.

    Thank you for very helpful description
    My Pi us only 2Gb but the install was succesful at first ; using M.2 drive in USB3 enclosure; and RJ11 on Pi for ethernet; Win 11 seemed to function corectly but slowly; as expected with 2Gb
    I had Utube music video with audio from Pi 3.5mm connector;
    BUT ; next time i restarted it would not recognise network and only got as far as setting country and keyboard choice; this continues every time i try starting;;
    I can get command line and using windows/X i can access some settings but i dont know what is needed to make network active again. hoping somebody can advise
