So for anyone who ISN'T aware, there are 1 BIG problem with the 1of big feats they gave Omni-Man here. so the thing about the Planet feat. You can't give him the planet feat because it's not something he's actually capable of. Thadeus literally says that if they don't hit the core of Planet Viltrum at the perfect timing they will fail to destroy it and DIE. And the only reason it's possible at all is because Space Racer is currently destabilizing the planet's core for the exact purpose of making it destroyable. I don't really have an argument for the sun disk, but death battle continues to straight up ignore context (I love em though, I love them to death, BATTLE!) so I wouldn't be surprised if they missed something there as well. (Can you tell I'm salty? XD)
The main thing I saw people commenting on them glossing over for the Sun Disk is timeframe, it wouldn't nerf the feat *that* significantly, but Bardock would have a better chance of matching it as SSJ.

War woman must be able to destroy anything the size of a star with a swing then
Thing thing is though; Space Racer's gun, the Infinity Ray, is a star-buster. If even he couldn't one-shot planet viltrum on his own, it implies that planet has a far higher durabiity than its size & gravity suggest. And even if we assume the Infinity Ray did the biggest share of the work destroying the planet (it is known to be consistently stronger than/lethal to Viltrumites), it feels unfair to use it to cap Omni-man at planet level when the planet itself seemingly has star level durability.

@@Yoojein Okay what's your point though? Because my point was that planet viltrum's destruction can't be used to cap Omni-man's strength at planet level. Like, taking your hypothetical math as an example; if Space Racer's gun did 70% of the work, that would imply planet viltrum's durability is star level * ~1.43. I don't think I need to explain how that's well above anything that could be used to cap anyone's strength at planet level. And even if you try to suggest Space Racer could have done even more of the work, it still wouldn't outright disprove star level Viltrumites. Because the fact remains the worst thing you can now say about Omni-man is that he was worried about dying on impact with something with, at worst, star level durability; that's the biggest anti-feat you can give him.
Honestly my biggest complaint isn't even the verdict(which I disagreed with but also I didn't agree with Bill Cipher vs Discord at the time, so who cares?), I just think Bardock's "death by arm loss" was kinda lame. But does that even matter? There was a several month period where we all thought Death Battle had well... died. The fact that Devil Artemis did great as always and that we now have both Bowser VS Eggman AND Joker VS Giorno just makes it all sweeter.
I actually liked the arm death. I found it set up for a bitter-sweet-yet-grim fitting end for both of them, Bardock giving his last breath to hammer in that the Sayians will "live on" and Nolan regretting taking the life of a family man who's lived a similar life to his. It would feel wrong if he just punched him in the head until it exploded.

I dunno about this one, i mean, i could see Bardock losing, sure.... But him losing with super saiyan? If we were to put bardock at the power levels of 10000 give or take, this with a 50x boost that is Ssj, would put him roughly at 1st form Freeza level. There's no way Nolan is stronger than 1st form freeza. But hey, at least death battle is still alive and kicking, and the episode was a fun watch.
You’d be surprised. 1st form Frieza has his feat of destroying planet Vegeta so hard it reached dwarf star levels of tnt (15 quettatons); but that amount is actually lower than the attack potency they gave SSJ Bardock of 387 quettatons by just multiplying king Vegeta’s planet busting feat, making him stronger than that feat. But I’m afraid both of those are still lower than the sun disk feat; calculated at 8,641 quettatons of tnt. Meaning that actually yeah, it does appear Omniman is stronger than 1st form Frieza. Or at least, stronger than the few feats we’ve seen of the form. Still, I do agree with your last point. It is good to be back.
@@Right_Bumper Probably similar to how 1st form Frieza is star level despite his much stronger final form needing "5 minutes" to destroy 1 planet. It's stuff like that why you take characters best feats for debates like these. (Plus there's excuses galore for each case to explain away the lesser planet-busting feat; so it seems only fair to disragrd both of these anti-feat strength caps equally.)
Frieza didn't instantly destroyed Namek because he was afraid that he'd kill himself so he held back. Goku even called him up on that. He destroyed it in a way to allow him to have time to (in his mind) kill Goku and leave before it got completely destroyed.
@@ricksc6923 Yeah, that's what I meant by excuses for explaining away these lesser feats. If you're wondering; the excuse to dismiss the destruction of planet Viltrum as a strength cap for Omni-man is that the planet is far more durable than it's size or gravity would suggest, tanking a hit from a star-busting gun and still needing Omni-man & 2 other Viltrumites to finish the job. Now this alone wouldn't put Omni-man on part with this star-busting gun; the Infinity Ray is known to consistently stronger than/lethal to Viltrumites so it probably did the biggest share of work; but the fact it one-shot a star but not this planet in particular disproves that planet capping the Viltrumite's strength at planet level, and opening the way to legitimacy for the sun disk feat.
Honestly, can’t agree with the outcome since Nolan’s feat of destroying his species’ home planet needed the help of 2 others and a 3rd character to make it all possible, and even then, the whole thing could have killed Nolan had even 1 thing gone wrong. So the Solar Disk feat really seems like an outlier at best compared the the rest of the series’ narrative and scaling. Still though, the episode was fun and it’s nice to see a return from Death Battle. Now for Joker vs Giorno… I’ll be blunt, this has me worried. With Joker’s full scaling, he should blitz and one shot Giorno long before the Son of Dio could ever hope to fight back, but if the Death Battle cast sticks to their last Persona series scaling, then Joker can be presented as a lot weaker than he actually is. But I will say this for GER’s Return to Zero, Joker does actually have easy outs for it, since I don’t think GER can negate passive abilities, so the Persona user can easily use Personas that at least have a resistance that Nulls physical attacks and prevent GER from doing any damage (which he shouldn’t be able to if Joker’s stats are given even just universal levels of power), so that can easily force a stalemate at least. Also, considering that Joker can change his own fate and the fates of others, even without his Persona powers, he should be above what GER’s casualty manipulation is shown capable of, especially when reality warpers capable of merging two realities together and beings that are above the linear flow of time (like SMT Thor and SMT Lucifer pre SMT V) are still bound by fate and need a lot to hope to break the cycles that fate places them all in, and Joker can change that when he gets involved. Also, fun fact, but Joker’s raw power can actually match up to Nyarlathotep and Philemon, as in Eternal Punishment, Philemon names a state that humans can achieve that would surpass himself and Nyarlathotep and when the Adam Kadmon Persona absorbs Maruki, the Persona describes itself in a way that is very similar to the state Philemon mentions and in the Thieves Den, which is canonically Joker’s own Palace and a reflection of the Trickster’s thoughts, you can get a statue of Adam Kadmon and the description of the statue makes it clear that Joker thought it reached that state as well since the state is directly named. And Joker scales to the Phantom Thieves, who all worked together to hold back a full power punch from the thing (meaning Joker at least has 1/8 the full power of Adam Kadmon) and they all took these full powered punches multiple times, further enforcing Joker’s scaling to this. So for me, even if GER’s Return to Zero did work on Joker, this would just force a tie.
Why didn't they just call it Super vs Goku 4 if that were the case. Jesus they can't even give the late Toriyama who died 6 months ago at least a tribute episode my god.

@@GiftOfKnowledge-np9vg How is Omni-Man star level when he needed help to destroy 1 planet?

Goku lost to Superman *again*
Why didn't they just call it Super vs Goku 4 if that were the case. Jesus they can't even give the late Toriyama who died 6 months ago at least a tribute episode my god.
