What makes it even better is that it led to his victory. He gave his life to protect them, and they returned the favor by reanimating his bones and backing him up. His care for even the cannon fodder was what made him victorious.
Honestly I love how disrespectful Boo King was portrayed, even for the small screentime. The way he laughed at the gravity augmentation and used it against it caster is such a d- move but so funny
King Boo is that one asshole friend who seems to be completely uninterested in helping out but he ends up being one of the most reliable friends to help out when needed.
He’s the black cat-type of friend who is very anti-social and says he finds you annoying but ends up being more reliable than 99% of your other friends.

30:55 theres a point that says that it takes weeks to happen which Eggman doesnt have enough time for Bowser and his crew can alternate reality with dark magic at any point of this battle, even before the fight started. Eggman REQUIRES the stones to be strong Bowser has a higher quantity of wild cards that can be used more commonly and among all members of the army, id also say that due to how Bowser and his army work together and synergize well, he can pretty much no diff clap Eggman. Also Eggman is cannonically bound to lose every fight just based on his cannon personality and how he is very selfish and individual focused so teamwork is 100% out of the question. Also the dream flower power can basically be used to reset the whole universe, reality included, and bowser can just have it summoned into the fight to be used immediately. Also Kamek came in clutch with the chance time stealing away the perception altering stone which made it literally impossible for Eggman to win from that point on. Bowser jr and King Boo also just countered pretty much everything else that made Eggman and his fleet terrifying. I think the only way for Eggman to have even a chance to win this fight is have Metal Sonic copy everyone's power before the fight begins, turn Eggman into a robot while preparing to become super Eggman, have Metal Sonic absorb the green stone, activate the infinity stones, then absorb the entire fleet and death moon, then absorb Infinite, then absorb Sage, then absorb super robot Eggman. This has to happen before Eggman even confronts Bowser and his crew since Kamek can just gift Bowser the dream flower and say "nope, bye from existence shitters" since the flower can affect a whole universe completely like i said earlier, and as what death battle also talked about in the post fight breakdown. ONLY then can Eggman can make the fight a literal coin toss, but as i said before, Eggman is too overconfident to even consider doing that so that reality will never happen cannonically in which these death battles focus on the most plausible interaction for a first meeting between characters. Its also something that would have to happen in a very specific scenario which goes against what death battle is and who Eggman is The fight was so screwed for Eggman since the only thing going for him was his intelligence, Bowser and crew just had too many counters available (which they can just spam too). I like the Sonic universe and Metal Sonic, but this is impossible for Metal Sonic to carry everyone on his back in a realistic scenario. The result was a predetermined and destined event to occur, the winner is Bowser
