great job!! People who do this work to help these furry angels are big Hearted Pro's and I totally respect their hardwork and skills! With so many critical things to be done on just one pup, it's easy to miss one or two things: these small fuzzy breeds tend to have frequent Eye Discharge that needs to be cleaned often...so cutting the fur short around eyes and upper snout will make it possible for owners to see + clean them so that they don't develope an Infection. Plus it's gloppy, thick, stinky stuff. Doesn't matter if he is blind, missing both his eyes, or was born with a unique yet charming face -for good health reasons alone, please add "complete shave down of eye circumference including small section of upper snout" to all your groomers 'Must Do Everytime" Checklist. Thank you for what you do, you are a blessing to the lives of these dogs, and by enabling these pups be angels to new families, you have become a blessing to each and all of those families as well!
yeah I thought they had no eyes because I didn't see them at all in the end. The eyes are the most beautiful part of the dog. keep em healthy. You only get one set
Poor thing, how could he even see! He looked cute when finished. I'm not criticizing, but I also thought the face could have been trimmed shorter too. I understand he was blind, but shorter would have been so much more sanitary not to mention cuter!

Sadly I put my grey and white maltese/shih-tzu down on 9th December due to cushings disease. His name was Brently and he had a brother Brody (pic) who was a maltese/westie - both were bought as just Lhasa Apso's but I think they got the breed wrong on both. Brody had to be put down for the same disease in 2019. Brody got to 11 years and was older than Brently by a year, and then Brently nearly got to 13 - which would be coming up at the end of this month. I looked at this and had tears in my eyes because the dog is so like Brently and I spent many a time grooming him this way. He was a bugger though and would not allow me to cut his nails. Had to take him to the vet who did it for free. Love the transformation of this one.

I still can't see the eyes in the end. Maybe work around those more next time? Beautiful work everywhere else. Working with the dogs movements instead of forcing them to sit still is an amazing way to do things

That dog is used to being groomed/shaved. Was someone's pet at one time. It's shameful that animals and people are so disposable. We sure need more happiness and love in this poor world!

Awwwwe poor baby boy he was in such bad shape he couldn't see a thing and he must of hurt getting shaved all those Matt's and knots but he looked great after I hope he has a good home to go to after he was done because no owner should have a dog if they are going to leave and not brush and wash there fur baby!!!!

Very Sadly, he may be blind, but he may at least have some residual vision &/ or light perception which could be at least some or a little help to him at times. Having the hair away from face could still possibly help. Still it was so good of you to help this angel.

I watched the whole video and did not see her being rough. She just got to the task and got tge mats out as quick as possible. Also this dog only has one eye. He is fine. Sorry you are easily upset by such real things.
