A little science on CA glue. The glue hardens by forming bonds. This can be accelerated by many different things. Essentially all you are doing with the accelerator is speeding up the process. The benefit is you don’t have to hold the part while it cures. Do yourself a favor and get some fine point tweezers. 😊 There are other chemicals which break the bonds and this is how you have CA remover.
Man I told you before and I keep saying it again! I love your scale rigs! Specially 4Runner Toyota and that k5! Love them.👌🥰👍but all your stuff is awesome!
I’ve still got the 87 XtraCab. I’ve gotta fix the hood prop on it, but it’s still pretty much the same as when you built it. Only thing I changed was the tires. Hasn’t been out much though. Couple times since I got it
This is by far the best looking RC crawler I've seen on your channel. Everything about it is right. If you add superscale2020 this thing would be absolutely jaw dropping.
The way I set the emblems. I shot one spray of insra cure on the back side of emblem and the maxi glue on the vehicle. After I apply the emblem I shot it with one spray of insta cure. Seems to work for me. The insta cure spray on the back side of emblem gives it a super bond. Just the way I do it. Take care. Oh by the way love your videos been a long time subscriber. Gotten many ideas from you for my builds. Take care. Keep up the great work.
Yep or you need to see if you can get a scale 102 inch whip steel antenna and put it on the bumper that would be the two scale locations. Those would go.
Awesome Rc Garage, everything looks so scale. Just started watching your videos. Love your philosophy on the hobby and how you build, thanks for the inspiration and tips on the build and all the links Keep uploading. I'll keep watching 👍😎
Awesome video, Josh! The only suggestion I have is to weather the brush bar on the Blazer to make it look more compatible with the bumper. Either way, your rigs are always amazing! 👌
I hit it a little, worked out that only the tops of the tubes look faded like the chrome is coming apart on top. Didnt get much on the side plates though.
On your comments on the 'plastic' crawlers, I bought an SCX 10.2 Honcho a while back for the very reason that I don't have to upgrade it. I wanted a truck that I could pull out of the box and be perfectly happy with. I've done a few tiny mods on it but nothing that needed new parts. This is a complete contrast from my TF2 LWB which I've touched practically every aspect of it atleast a little, except the driveline, the r3 single speed works perfectly for my 'speed'
That’s great man. There is such a contrast between crawlers and scale rigs. Nothing wrong at all with the scx platform as it’s a great rig to crawl with.
@@RCeveryday I think a big thing with modding the TF2 is that even small mods can have drastic changes on how it behaves, plus there are so many styles of build it can be modded to work with! I've seen ultra high preformance linked TF2s and I've seen full dollhouse scale builds that look like a 1:1!...Mine leans toward the latter buut I don't think a Stormtrooper is the most realistic driver of an 82 Toyota crew cab...buut he looks good in there!
Blazer all the way, my dream I've always wanted, my fathers friend had that aged blazer, as a young boy, that blazer I road all the time. Dang still looking for my Blazer, change that one to full size.... :)
Hey Josh .... I want to buy at least 1 of your Long Rat Rod Chassis kits but your website is closed for maintenance.... Any idea when it will be Open again ? Love your work buddy ....very inspiarational :)))))
Excellent video! I’ve got a TF2 kit new in the box and the orange and white K5 Blazer for the body. I have a Hobbywing 1080 but need a motor, Servo and receiver. What do you recommend? Thank in advance.
Keep it cheap man. My tf2 blazer has a cheap Amazon metal geared servo and a budget holmes hobbies sport motor. I love the holmes 35t torque master expert but it’s 50$. Doesn’t have to be so expensive. The sport motor is around $25.
@@RCeveryday Thanks! I’m gonna start the build this weekend hopefully. I love my TF3 but I think I’m gonna like the TF2 even more. I got RC4WD reverse mounts for the front leafs and the rear shackle mounts. Pretty excited.
Once you get a good brushless system you won't look at a brushed system the same again. With a brushless system you can get all the low speed control you could ever want plus plenty of wheel speed. You also don't have to worry about mud/water/sand getting into the motor. If I was building a rig that was hard to work on or had the motor covered up I'd have a brushless system so I would never have to touch it again.
Some of mine come with the scale hardware sets I get from locked up rc. But the best drivers for scale bolts are the wija set. Not sure I spelled that right. It’s a German brand. Very good quality.
LOVE that Blazer!!! SWEET FAT BABY JESUS!!! Where did you get that saddle blanket seat cover in the C2X??? I have been wanting one of those for my Marlin for a while now.
@@RCeveryday The turbo 22RE-T was avaliable brand new in the US in the 4runner and the Pickup, but it was a rare, expensive option. They generally were found on the west coast as a 'flex'. These days factory turbo trucks fetch a pretty penny on the market.

Also, that ca glue can be found at hobby lobby for a fraction of hobby shops pricing. I use Ca glue everyday in my day job!
'Focus on the scale' right on bro and congrats on your win at USTE.👏👏👏

Can't wait to see you out there again this year!! The Winne and I are ready!!
I "start" rc scale crawler this year .
It s fabulous.
Run the trail and build and upgrade.
Thanks
Greating from France
I turned the end pieces around on the grill guard and the 3 divets on the bumper line right up perfectly
It is an event I would like to go to at least once, bit of a haul from Idaho. So its nice to see it from your perspective and a few others as well.
Man Josh now the blazer it's got more good looking rig and it's got awesome looking with the push bar and lights on it
That’s a great shop! Cool stuff!
I love brushed! Cheap 1080 esc and Holmes trail master! All I need and it’s a blast!

I also run brushed in my crawlers, 1060 esc in my scx10 1st gen, a 1080 in my tf2.
Lovin the K5 build 👍🏽

It gets addicting to modify a rig. To me the tf2 is much more fun to modify.

You really need to move that CBN Tenna to the middle of the blue part of the top of the truck there on the roof looks silly the way where you got it
Great video today I really enjoy watching it and thank for making it
Looks very nice 😉😎👍

Great progress, loving the K5 I can’t wait to see your experience this year.
Holmes motors are the best
We had turbos in 86 and 87, possibly even 88.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Great work on this RC.
Good looking rigs!
Magnetic antenna on a fibergalass roof? I absolutely love your work
I like it there though, lol Dont judge me. I know I know. I like the antenna on the back better
Just keep building them whatever you do. 👍💯
Your RC GARAGE IS ERIC!!!!

It'll be back open tomorrow, I have been out of town this week. Orders will ship out on monday, thanks!
Can you please tell me what wheels and tires those are on the blazer? They look perfect on your truck!
They are the stock element RC general grabber ATX 1.55 tires on the stock element wheels. The wheels have the perfect offset for the blazer body
@@RCeveryday Thank you very much!
Very nice details

We had turbo sr5s here in the states.
Came in the trucks and 4 runners

They're also all money pits.
Are you gonna do any filming while you’re there of you driving and or other drivers driving?
I will be filming everything at the event
if you want shocks that dont leak . traxxas. they got that right. to bad they dont look scale .
Big question also we’re did u buy your scale bolt drivers have had the marlin wheels for like 2 years lol

I can’t make uste this year unfortunately. Are you going to make it back to Beat the Creek this year?
Yes sir. I will be at btc for sure again. It’s a great event
LOVE that Blazer!!! SWEET FAT BABY JESUS!!! Where did you get that saddle blanket seat cover in the C2X??? I have been wanting one of those for my Marlin for a while now.
Its an actual seat cover from walmart, super thin and cheap
@@RCeveryday so, a whole LOT of RC seat covers!!! LOL
I’m contemplating building a 1/10 scale Jeep Cherokee rig. Which chassis would you recommend?
Most xj builds I have seen are on axial scx10.2’s. Those off brand hard bodies are pretty large and would fit most crawler chassis.
@@RCeveryday thank you.
I live in hawaii and there was 80s 4 runners and trucks turbo sr5 here and I know some in cali What do u mean they never had them in the states?
I have never seen a turbo here in texas ever. Maybe they are imports after the age limits past. Could be wrong, just my personal experience

Good to know lol there’s quite a few factory ones here but a lot of monkey mechanic ones too lol love the vids brotha🙏🏽🤙🏽
