Somebody start making ol school traction bars!
I disliked the Dakota for many many years, until I drove one as a work/company truck. I couldn't say anything bad about it after actually driving one. It was also red!
Another good thing about that boom racing axle is you could put whatever pinion angle you want without a shim
Damn i missed out on the kit cant wait till you restock i cant wait to build mine!
Glad to see the kit sold so well, too bad it happened before I managed to order one.
They are not available yet. Hoping to make them available Friday or Saturday.
Super cool kit. That Scottsdale looks so good slammed.
Like the stance on the grey ish one,,,in the 90s that means fast lol. Good stuff, I like the idea that it's a kit that you can make it how you want it.
This is neat gotta figure out how to add line lock and a mini smoke machine so you can do burnouts in the shop truck
This stuff is very very cool! One day I'll be at this level but I'm just learning now. But your stuff is awesome!
Its a beautiful truck.
If i had the dough, I'd want wide slotted mags(the superwide custom machined ones on Facebook) and id just start cutting up buggy tires until i had something that looks right.
(Like a 295,50,15 square setup)
Its a nice setup your offering. I hope they sell like crazy! Good luck
That's is a very nice rc truck kit and it looks awesome man
Nice work
Oh ok you havent actually sold them yet awesome cant wait to buy one hopefully before they sell out
This is cool cant wait to get one and itwould be cool if you can do a crew cab long bed frame option
The kit turned out nice.
Those are some damn nice kits man.
Sweet kit I wish you had a kit for the traxxas trx4m k10 to lower them the right way
The shop truck is looking mint, especially Grandpa's.👍🏻
Soo...how long till a drift shop truck is built.😁
wow very fantastic chassis~!!!!!!
Very cool build!
I can't wait till someone buy this chassis and make a bed dancer
redcats making one
That came out slamming good Josh. I used a 4tec front suspension on my blazer truck version but it’s a stock look. I’d like to use the new C10 with same set up but more scale. I like the SSD motor but only fits the smaller motor right?. The rc4wd motor might be too heavy for the limited shocks available.
The ssd fits a standard 540 motor just fine. Doesnt quite work with the 2 in 1's though. The rc4wd motor would need different mounts, the weight might not be too big an issue, could easily add or change springs in the scale shocks.
Yes amain indicates the SSD houses a 540 motor as the rc4wd v8 scale does. Do these get hot like they claim?. I don’t own a 540 do you need to minimize the run time to avoid the heat?.
Awesome kit, even better looking laid down on the ground. But after watching the whole video I honestly like em both. If I order your kit could it be possible for you to add a cheat sheet of where to find the parts from Tamiya rc website? Thank you for the awesome video on the wide range of options on how to build something really badass.
I have a parts list in the video description and on the website. I cant give exact links to all the parts because as they sell the links will go dead.
@@RCeveryday thank you, going to be placing my order Friday. Can't wait to get my Scottsdale going. It's been on my shelf for a little bit now. Really liking your slammed down look. I have a ton of extra parts from rc4wd laying around my basement. You gave me a reason to use them. Wondering if a TF2 extra cab will fit? I've been wanting to slam a Marlin TF2 for a old school dirt bike hauler from the 80s. Thank you for making this possible to do now
Redcat Racing should partner with you with this kit at least
How hard would it be to add axle wrap bar mounts to the 3-D printed crossmember in front of the rear axle?
I want to this chassis.
But I think this chassis needs differential gear.
I was 3rd person to like this video 💯💪🤪😜🤣
I was the 3rd person to Like 👍 your comment.
I think you should sell two kit one like this and one full roller
Would it be possible to build a ifs 4wd truck like the modern turbo f150s? I don't know much about touring car parts to have an idea on parts list to make it 4wd.
The only major issue I can see is the front driveshafts would need to come right through the suspension mount. I like the idea, has me thinking 🤔.
Where do you buy the kits or the parts and pieces needed to build one? I have been wanting to get into building rc cars with my son
The kits I sell on Rceveryday.com. There is a parts list there as well as in this video description with links to most.
I want to build a 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim
Nice video very very nice👍🛻🛻🫡👏👏👏
Anyone been able to fit other control arms aside from the TL01 ones? I can’t seem to find em in stock anywhere. Was thinking about a set of the MST drift arms
So far ive seen m-06 arms, although they are narrower, cc01 arms, and the GF01 arms and parts are identical to the TL01
Awesome. Never owned a tamiya kit so all their components are all new to me. Thanks man! Loving the kit so far!
Are you going to crawl fest at GSL ranch in Texas this April?
Going to try to. If just for a day at least.
Not sure if you have been but there was about 400 people last year. Good size.
I’ve been the last 2 years
Does a parts list come with the kit?
It’s in this video’s description and on the website listing for the product. Just have to expand the product description on the store page.
What tires are those on the rally wheels plz thank ya
Old 1/8 scale model car tires
Is there a way to make it stock ride height?
close to stock, i show near the end of the video
Where are the wheels on granddads truck from?
They are traxxas 1.9’s from one of their blazers
@@RCeveryday what Bout the tires
So it's not a full rolling chassis your sell
No, its just the base chassis parts, just like the ratrod kits are sold
@@RCeveryday 155$ ? 100$ WHAT IS MORE RESPECTABLE
