You are a magician bob and I don’t think I would love this 1/14 scale trucks and building as I do without trying and putting you knowledge and tips into my builds. I Thankyou for for teaching me what I know to this date. 👊
Bob you always have great videos on better ways of doing things with the tamiya trucks ,I've never liked how tamiya did the servo mount for the 5th wheel yours is so simple ,keep the great videos coming
Tried your trick with a cheap Chinese mini servo and your video did guide me thru very easy, unfortunately glue got in the servo making the assembly not usable. Keep making those nice DIY video.
Great video again bob. I just look back at your wireless flatbed set up with the globe liner and was following to bind two receivers. And unfortunately i had the FS-i6B and i seen that you said it wouldn't work so i ordered another 6 ch from your shop. Thanks for the advice!!!
Good info! I have a third semi I'm building, but two trailers. I just need the remote coupler for the third truck. Do you know who sells the parts for it?
Bob I have got servo for fifth wheel what number wire do I hook it up for power do I need a extension to do it Thanks ,love your builds First time builder Norm
You will probably need an extension. I usually clip the wires and solder them so you can actually just add some wire in to the servo lead. You need all 3 wires and with Flysky radios plug into channel 6..
What servo do you need for 5th wheel model no or name I also think your site is great easy listening for 78 yr old Having fun for my first build and helping with probs,Thanks again, what sort of servo and size I don’t seem to get an answer,HELP
this did not work on my truck as the spring is not the same as yours on the globe liner you have to do it the other way round to the way that you did it

Hi Bob. Thanks for your video. It was great help with this conversion I'm definitely going to use this myself Thanks .
Bob yer a genius. I was messing with the bent wire method but seen this video and had it done an hour later. Just awsome content.
Yes, this works better and is easier!

Job well done! I was hoping to see ya hook up to a trailer king pin with your fifth wheel plate using your micro servo locking jaw!

excellent. There is a lot to learn from you❤❤
😮😮 wauuu Bob... es una buena idea, gracias
I always set mine up using fishing line from the hook loop it round the coupler swivel pin to the servo underneath there’s no linkage on show that way
👍💪great job 😉🚛
Wish you had done more while zoomed in to help my old eyes

This is the servo: hobbyconcepts.net/products/analog-micro-servo-metals-gears?_pos=1&_sid=6fe65acc0&_ss=r
Thank you Bob much appreciated
Bob, this is great. This method should work when using a motorized trailer leg kit too correct?
Yes, but you have to move the servo to the other side of the deck as they move the ball on the coupler to the other side.
great... be on the lookout for a micro servo order. Thank you. @@HobbyconceptsLLC
New Volvo FH16 750 XL has another coupler plate without enough place to glue a servo on

Will this setup work if you use it to raise and lower the landing gear on a trailer
Yes, but you have to move the servo to the other side of the coupler deck.
Is the non MFC version mount on the other side? I’m using the Beier setup instead.
Some couplers activate on the opposite side. You can do this mod so it works either way.
💕👍
Bob do you sell the servo tester??
Sure do, one of the things in my shop I use a lot! hobbyconcepts.net/products/servo-tester?_pos=1&_sid=bfeb037fa&_ss=r
