      Tell me about it. I put two coats front and back on 300 cabinet doors using Ben Moore advance in 6 hours I don't know how I lived without this thing for so many years. And I did all that with one gallon of paint that's the fastest five grand I ever made

    • @ILruffian
      @ILruffian 2 года назад

      @@ihave35cents95 Did you spray the BM Advance un-thinned? I have the Fuji Q5. It doesn't come close to being able to spray Advance or Cabinet Coat un-thinned without serious orange peel and dry spray. Looking at getting a TriTech T5.

    • @ihave35cents95
      @ihave35cents95 2 года назад +1

      @@ILruffian I cut the advance with one quart of floetrol and then I thinned each cup about 5 percent. With number 4 tip. Comes out like glass. If that doesn't work use a number 5 airhead. I did notice the other day I didn't need to thin as much when I used a gravity-fed gun. Ben Moore does say you'll have no problem spraying it with a 4 or 5 stage turbine. Just make sure you get three mils on there so Advanced can do what it was designed to do and that is level out.

    Thank you mentioning for taking that filter off! I just bought the capspray 105 and my go to cabinet paint is PPG breakthrough and I have found removing the filter even when using an airless gun for breakthrough helps a lot.

    Very interested in this capspray 115 turbine. I have 2 questions...
    1. Can you run other brand turbine guns on this turbine?
    2. On the power switch what is the psi and cfm for the hi & low settings?
    Thanks, hope to hear from you soon...

      I use the PPG breakthrough, go to cabinet paint. Dries uniform, fast and higher viscosity for less thinning or none at all depending on what you are trying to do.

    Is fuji better or the titan?

    • @PittsburghSprayEquipmentCo
      @PittsburghSprayEquipmentCo  2 года назад +3

      Hi Chris it's a bit subjective but here would be my thoughts the titan 115 capspray is the only 6 stage turbines on the market this provides alot of paint breakup power it also has a low pressure switch for stains however fuji q series have better heat control and a bit more gun options.
      For heavy thick paints capspray 115 for long spray sessions or quieter fuji may be the route
