everyone loves sinead, but nobody talks about the music she made late in life. this is my favorite song she wrote. all the pain and joy in her life, you can feel it in this song.
This is my fave later music from her too. I bawled when I listened to it and it plays in my head often. You can always feel her soul and emotions in her music and this song definitely captured the accumulation of living and pain once you reach a certain age. She genuinely spoke the truth and prophesied (really I believe it) ahead of her years and time. She paid a heavy price for that. But she helped so many of us with her honesty and her_self and music. Rest in the deepest most profond peace Dear Lady.
I have loved Sínead since I was in diapers. My parents would play her CDs for me when I couldn't sleep as a baby and my love never faded. In kindergarten, I brought a cassette tape of Nothing Compares 2 U to class for show & tell and played the song for the room of 5yo kids 😂 I've followed her career for all of my life and her music has carried me through times of great joy as well as times of deep sorrow. This song is especially poignant and I finally followed the advice in it, got my ass back into my spiritual practice and am working on bettering myself everyday. Thanks Sínead, I love you ❤️🙏
I think most of us are troubled, but don't have a way to express it and let it be seen by others. Instead, most just keep selling their souls into addictions of one sort or another, even if socially acceptable addiction like work or religiosity, in order to ignore the pain.
Honouring Sinead's vast legacy on what would have been her 57th birthday. I'm a deeper, richer person for her contributions to this world, as well as left forever bereft at her early departure from it. RIP
May Allah Subhana wa ta'alla give her peace and guidance in her heart and life. She found a good path, Alhamdulillah. Maybe she would be happy now in shaa Allah.
Ameen. Jazak Allah kheir for your lovely duaa I am a revert and one of my happiest days was when I learned she also reverted. I love listening to her tell her story of her journey and faith and there were many parallels to mine. I just wish that all of the people expressing so much love for her would have done it while she was alive is that with the time when she could have really benefited from it. Alhamdulillah for everything.
If any church around here had this kind of music I'd be there... everything is go to hell if you don't do this stuff.. ok, I get that but real music like Sinead performs iis something different... I didn't grow up overly religious but like the stuff Sinead sings about
Big admirer of her music as an artist before coming to the deen , however doesn’t this defeat the whole idea if hijab ? I just feel somethings of duniya (world ) have to be left behind , that was then this is now .. Allah knows best
I think the ummah is in such disarray that we can't just fault a person for their understanding of the deen.. at the end of the day when we all pass away we will present ourselves to Allah swt most kind and generous who is full of mercy.. and hopefully all these things of the dunya will be forgiven.. instead we make dua.. we be positive for our brothers and sisters.. whether correct or incorrect.. as long as it's not something aggregious..anyhow.. that's how I look at it.. salam
Not sure I understand the question. I own the rights to the video because I shot it, and the songwriters (including Sinead O'Connor) own the rights to the underlying composition. So technically my video is a derivative work that infringes their rights. However, given the popularity of fan-made live concert videos, songwriters have decided to cash in through automated copyright claims; so in this case, ads run in front of my video, and the money goes to Sinead and her co-writers.
Still listening to you in 2024 and till the end of my days❤

It's my favourite too. I discovered it by accident and I always come back to it. Feels like it heals pieces of my soul. Rest in piece Sinead ❤🕊
Yes I loved this album so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Mine too.X
She made a ton of great music her whole life. I love her so much and miss her. Want to just hug her❤
Same here. It encapsulates everything she means to me.
She was, she is, amazing, such power, such integrity, I’m gutted she’s gone but she won’t be leaving my life, rest in peace Sinead.

This is her at her best
I hope she’s somewhere peaceful and beautiful. Farewell, Sinead ❤

Lovely comment. You must be absolutely gutted.
Sinead was part of the soundtrack of my youth. I am very sad to hear of her passing.
Sinead, Nothing compares to you. 😍
Love you so much🇲🇾♥️
I love I'm Not Bossy. The lyrics hit me on first listen and 3 years on I still love it. I recommend it to everyone.
RIP Sinéad, you are an angel, we will miss you always 😢🌷🌷🌷🌷
One of her most amazing songs. ❤❤❤❤❤
Such an amazing artist an amazing voice. I wish her health blessings and happiness!!
The clash between the extremely gifted and talented artist, and the incredibly troubled soul!
How can such conflict exist in one body?
I think most of us are troubled, but don't have a way to express it and let it be seen by others. Instead, most just keep selling their souls into addictions of one sort or another, even if socially acceptable addiction like work or religiosity, in order to ignore the pain.
Soal siasat diri kamu juga dah mati pergi mana?
Beautiful also

It hurts to watch..
Yay Sinead is a nun again! Last time I saw her she was shouting at a podium in front of a devout mosk full of ardent muslims. It was cringe worthy….
are you being sarcastic or are you unaware of what she is wearing
Don’t judge her you have no idea what she’s overcome
What a clown 🤡
Stop talking. You’re completely misguided.
