- Sinéad O'Connor opens the show with a cover of the song "Queen Of Denmark," live in concert before a sold-out crowd at August Hall in San Francisco, California on February 7, 2020. Queen Of Denmark was originally recorded by John Grant as the title track of his debut solo album in 2010. Sinead O'Connor released a cover on her ninth studio album, How About I Be Me (And You Be You), in 2012. This tour, called The 786 Tour, marks O'Connor's first shows in North America since 2014. Joining her onstage were Jackie Rainey (guitar), Phil Edgar (guitar), Darren Campbell (bass), John McCullough (keyboards), and Eamon Ferris (drums).

Having left the stage four years ago on a journey of self-renewal, Sinead O’Connor returns to the stage; importantly, to the international stage, beginning with a string of select US dates to what promises to be an exciting 2020, seeing Sinead finally return to North America.
Upon announcement of her Irish tour dates for October 2019, so passionate and enthusiastic was the response that tickets were sold out within an hour. Following her appearance on Ireland’s premier talk show, “The Late Late Show” on the 6th of September and the subsequent global viral reaction, demand to see Sinead O’Connor live became overwhelming and so it’s with great pleasure we can announce new US Tour dates, her first for almost six years.
An artist beyond comparison - unique, uncompromising, a pioneer, a visionary are just some of the descriptions that might only touch the surface of Sinead O’Connor. Embodying a voice with beauty and innocence, a spirit part punk, part mystic with a combined fearlessness and gentle authenticity. This voice as Sinead’s unique expression would be echoed in the voices of other artists who she would inspire who came after.
This year marks the return of Sinead O’Connor and a new beginning that will see Sinead bring out new music and tour the world once again as one of the true and original living greats of our time.
