    I was in Dublin Airport a few years ago, and Tadhg was ahead of me going through security. The man practically had to walk through the metal detector sideways

      I had the pleasure if taking him his brother n partners out to the skellig islands (starwars)
      He hadnt played in months due to injury n the lockdowns..he was a funny gentleman but my god he was still built like a brick shithouse. Animal of a man

      Lol. It was the TH side that buckled in that scrum. Genge had Furlong going backwards prior. Rewatch the match if that is too shocking to stomach.

      @@HarlanPhilly Genge bores into the hooker on every scrum when he has to set straight hes fucked. Look at how Scotland targeted him in the England games when they kept going for scrums on the England 5 meter line. They knew he was a poor on opposition feed.

    If he manages to dodge serious injury, I truly believe he could become one of the best Prop's ever! Monster in the scrum! A beast in the loose..... and he's got a better step than virtually all the backs in Ireland.............

      I would argue he should’ve won player of the year in 2018. He literally has absolutely no weaknesses in his game, it’s absolutely incredible

      @@jamesconnell8478 sadly I doubt he’ll ever win the award as awards team (both WR and 6N) generally overlook the front row (I can’t remember the last time a prop won the world rugby player award)

      @@nathan._.h Lowe is gone stockdale is in I think and zebos back but Keenan is brilliant at 15 it’s his shirt now !!
      I think we’ll peak in 2023 we could do very well in the World Cup

    Furlong, Sinckler and Porter will be the lions tight heads. As much as I would want Francis to be there too I can’t see it unfortunately

    Genuine world class player. He’s brilliant at everything - ball carrying, tackling, ball skills, pace, over the ball in contact area, scrummaging. There’s no doubt more.

    Getting to stage where he should be considered one of the greatest right heads ever. Certainly starting to creep towards Carl hayman in modern era. Add in another couple of lions tours and by the time he finishes he’ll be a great

    I don't understand how any human can be that strong and then he is agile...sidesteps really well and great speed for a prop. Superhuman.

    The inside pass he does against England for CJ try a few years ago is ridiculous. The guy is just unbelievable. Leinster/Ireland better sort that contract out soon enough

    Scotland fan here, Furlong is a stick on for the lions imo. Gave us a torrid time at Murrayfield last month. Top player!

    I would say that he is the tight head that I have seen - there may have been stronger ones (bench press more or whatever) but his technique is superb and, when combined with his work in the loose - as good as most open sides have been - he is superb. I just wish he had been lucky enough to be English (hoho)

      @@AndrewDavidForde They were excellent scrummagers but that’s about all you would say about them. Obviously they were terrific servants, Hayes is especially close to my heart as I’m a limerick man, but Furlong is a different breed of tight head to both those guys.

    Brilliant player met him at half time of the Wexford Dublin hurling game in parnell park of the Leinster round Robin in 2019 nice player a good Wexford man supporting his own county outside of Rugby infairness where would Ireland and Leinster without Wexford lads 😂 😂 😂 beast of a player best prop player in the world number 3

    Not really a fan of Irish Rugby, but the players i believe added a new paradigm to world Rugby, N02 Keith Wood was a real mobile player previously unseen in his time, No3 Tadhg Furlong doent know what stop means just keeps going, one of the best 3s in world Rugby and the N09 Conor Murry deceptive fast and great Rugby Brain.
