    In karnataka we do it with sour curd and make it crumble and make upma

    Great recipe, although I'm the type who needs to do the steaming part right on the kadai to make it a less long/cumbersome process with lesser dishes to do. I'm not too sure such is possible, jus registering the thought/method process of a viewer/reallife person who cooks all his food. Cheers

      U can't make ragi upma without pre steaming it as shown. It'll clump together

      @@shitalkanitkar5995 hmmm... Really? If u steam it first n it works well, why not after? Like prep ur seasonings n then put in ur ragi n steam it. Not too sure, but i might like to try before I forego that method.
