Why didn't Turbo make it to the top 20 DreamWorks Movies?
My favourite is the prince of Egypt
Shrek and How to train your dragon will always have a special place in my heart, nothing can beat the Masterpiece.
Same.
I've seen part of "Shrek", when I was little and my sibling saw "How to train your Dragon" in a theatre. I want to watch the full movie of "Shrek".
Yeah
puss in boots will always be my fav
Kung fu panda for me
The early 2000s DreamWorks films were just the best, everything was so original, so hilarious and so inspiring
And they weren't afriad to make jokes about sensitive topics. Unlike today where you can barely make a joke about anything.
@@lancegaming6240 it’s all just fine if you ignore the people trying to shut you down.
I mean even now they make amazing and gorgeous films that have some decently funny moments.
@@lancegaming6240 There is a lot of weirdos nowadays who can’t take a joke.
Actually Truth I hope people and Culture also change to be better and to be better
"The Prince Of Egypt" is definitely one of the greatest animated film of all time by DreamWorks and It's became one of my most personal favorite from 1998 that year I was born.
Mine as well. I am not a deep religious person, but this movie have given me a sense hope and to enjoy life.
Unfortunately it was just released at a bad time
Mines too
Magnificent
I'm not really a religious person but my god I love that movie. I've watched it so many times and I never get bored of it, the music is impeccable.
I always loved how a lot of the DreamWorks films on this list ended up becoming some of the most iconic films and franchises of all time!!!
Also one of the greatest Non/Disney animation studio of the entire decades.
Same
@Maxx Rice Same!!!
@Maxx Rice Yep me too, despite them creating The Bee Movie and The Boss Baby, I will always prefer Dreamworks over Disney.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is so underrated and a great movie, Over the Hedge and Prince of Egypt too. And ofc the greats and iconics, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Megamind.
DreamWorks is truly legendary.
Lastly, ain't no way Trolls is above Spirit.
I've seen "Kung Fu Panda" and part of "Shrek", "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron", and "Over the Hedge", when I was little! I want to see the full movie of the rest.
right took me until 09 before I got the model horses of Spirit &Rain into my herd
@@Mistfall254 Model horses of Spirit & Rain? Cool!

Cool
Exactly.
@@unknownpopcorn1 That part just simply isn’t true but it is an amazing underrated classic
The HTTYD trilogy transcends rating and genre and is just simply one of the most important and enjoyable trilogies ever displayed in animation. It will go down as a classic
One of my favourite films of all time. Irrespective of it being an animation. It's bloody brilliant
I cannot agree more on that.
My sibling saw it at a theatre.
Also some truly amazing soundtracks
Very good
I'm just gonna mention... Kung Fu Panda 2 should've been much higher. My absolute favorite DreamWorks film. Amazing action and animation, dark and gripping story, excellent voice acting and characters, and probably the best villain we've ever had from DreamWorks.
Fax
And just like Shrek 2 it's one of the best movie sequels in general
Kung Fu Panda also has to be among the first places of the list; it’s a personal opinion but I really love that movie, it made my childhood and helped my life
I would also include Kung Fu Panda 3, I like how it comes full circle.
Wasn’t big on the Soothsayer
Shrek and Megamind are easily the best movies that Dreamworks have made
Megamind is one of my favorite movies period.
Shrek isn’t even the best Skrek movie
Nah sorry but Shrek doesn’t even fucking compare to the HTTYD trilogy.

Shrek, Kung Fu Panda & How to Train Your Dragon are the holy trinity of Dreamworks.

Definitely!
In the name of Shrek the Father, Kung fu panda the son and Dragon the holy spirit. Amen
How to train your dragon and kung fu panda are by far the best animation series ever. Each is unique to it’s own merit with a titular cast awesome storylines and gripping character arcs. Both have achieved to make their stories emotionally rich, intriguing and exciting while maintaining the right amount of humour and whimsy.

How to Train Your Dragon definitely deserves its place
Absolutely amazing list. Dreamworks has made a lot of incredible movies that I adore, especially the Shrek series, HTTYD series, Megamind, The Prince of Egypt, etc.
However, I am really sad that once again Rise of the Guardians got excluded. Why is it that whenever a Dreamworks list gets made it never gets mentioned? It was a brilliant movie based on a really imaginative book series and had a storyline where the villain almost won. Plus with the amazing voice cast it's definitely one of the best alongside the ones mentioned.
Agreed, the element of Jack had a life added a whole layer of depth. Rise of the guardians deserve a proper movies series in superhero/mystery genre
@@yashdhiman611 That it most certainly did.
@Maxx Rice Agreed. It’s really disappointing that if one movie or movie series gets so popular it overshadows the others that deserve recognition and get pushed to the wayside, never to be spoken of while the more popular movies are the ones that get constantly talked about. RotG was a true marvel and an amazing story told that deserves recognition as well as other movies on the list.
Totally agree, this is my favorite DreamWorks movie
@@clementlavielle Same. I can never get enough of how good this movie is and how well it represents the books it was based on.
The KFP and HTTYD trilogies are definitely my favorite movies of all time, they have always had a special place in my heart and they always will.
This list is total garbage. You have the gall to put in The Boss Baby and Trolls, yet leave out Rise of the Guardians and Over the Hedge. And that only scrapes the surface of the problems with this list.
Disney will always be number 1 for me, but the How to Train your Dragon franchise is just the best animated movie franchise
agreed, i usually forget it’s aimed at kids
I couldn’t agree more!
Nah Toy Story is the best animated movie franchise. Just wait till Spiderverse becomes a franchise.
If you go on that route, I will say ice age should be in there in kung fu panda

How to Train Your Dragon tops it for me…love the entire trilogy
Me too, and I thought the third installment ended the story just perfectly. ❤
How to train your dragon and kung fu panda are definitely two of the best dreamworks films ever.
YOU FORGOT RISE OF THE GUARDIANS
‘The Croods’ was pretty interesting.
The voice cast, including Nicholas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds did a very nice job together in 2013.
The best things about DreamWorks is the comedy, amazing voice casting, the timeless characters, and the soundtrack. Good reasons why I love DreamWorks
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON WAS BY FAR THE BESTT❤❤❤
I was about to throw my phone when it said Bee movie was #1. Thank God How to Train Your Dragon got the top spot. It deserves it.

How can anyone not like the how to train your dragon series? Each movie is good, and the story and animation is amazing
Well I don’t think the first movie was good, I thought it was just okay.
The HTTYD trilogy is one of the best trilogies ever made, and it might be my personal favorite. Every movie stands alone as a beautiful, entertaining, and moving story. But seeing it as a whole shows you what a fantastic overall arc they had for both Hiccup and Toothless. And their stories continually paralleling each other. Different from the rest of their ‘people’, matching disabilities which they were responsible for each other’s, both becoming chief/alpha, falling in love, growing up, and even having children. It’s gorgeous.
I haven't seen half of these movies from this list despite being around when they were all made, but the early 2000's Dreamworks movies were the best. The original Shrek will always be the best Dreamworks movie ever made imo.
Why the hell is boss baby in this list!? That movie was a big embarrassment for dreamworks!
Any movie that DreamWorks created is a masterpiece.

@@cappyjones Because it is a religious film
@@OkieAllDay Why does every group feel like they are marginalized? Christianity is the dominant religion in (I'm assuming you're American) America and yet many American Christians feel like they are still not treated fairly. The so called "War on Christmas" is the best example of what I'm referring to. 😕
@@cappyjones Well I think a prime example would be that despite Passion of the Christ being the highest grossing Rated R movie of all time mainstream movie studios won't touch Christian movies (Noah being a rare example, and in that they completely changed up the entire story).
Also, Christianity, despite being the dominant religion in America is consistently being assaulted by media, big tech, and high ed.
You could probably count on one hand the amount of times a film or movie has made fun of Buddha, Muhammad, or Confuscious, but it happens a million times against Jesus Christ
Nah it’s one of the most overrated films of all time.

Shrek, Over the Hedge and Megamind are definitely my top 3 favorites
It's a good list but I think the Boss Baby doesn't deserve to be on it. That film was just terrible.
Tell me about it 😒
It’s honestly really hard as to whether DW or Pixar is better. Both studios have their magnum opuses (HTTYD, Toy Story) as well as lesser entries (Shrek 3, Cars 2), and both fill special niches in the animation world. Most of DreamWorks’s catalog are comedies with irreverent humor and a slight edge, which began with Shrek. Most Pixar movies have profound social commentaries or messages at their core, like Up or Ratatouille. People can say one is better than the other, but there’s no denying both studios are phenomenal when it comes to their craft
Now I think there shouldn’t have been more than one film to a series with how much more DreamWorks films there have been. I hope to see a remade video
