Not to mention random public cruelty when it comes to crowd mentality'- Quasimodo's humiliation is extra horrifying (and underrated in how awful it is) when you consider most of those people weren't intentionally "evil" or setting out to torture- they were just ordinary folk hopped up on overexcitment/stimulation and intoxication that turned on someone who stood out and happened to be vulnerable. The whole scene was a powder keg that only needed one match lit to turn.

As someone with Anxiety and Depression, Inside Out and Inside Out 2 really hit home with me, because sometimes I feel like crying, but I can't, and sometimes I have moments where I feel like I'm not good enough, and I put a lot of pressure on myself like there was one time near the end of my third semester of college, I was doing my project which was a bunch of labs, and I was literally on the verge of a mental breakdown because of it, like I nearly had an anxiety attack due to it, but when I got it done and did my final exam, I felt so relieved, like I felt like I could finally relax, and it was like I was calling Joy to give me that sense of calm.

Absentee parents: Sometimes, it's not easy being a single parent, especially when it comes to abandonment. It really takes a long time to heal a wound created by an absentee parent, but I know that, yes, it doesn't excuse a child's behavior. It depends on the impact it has on the child's life. I feel sorry for what Jim Hawkins went through. Watching your daddy walk out on you when you're young can leave emotional wounds and scars. This kind of thing still exists in this world.
Tyranny: This is all about power and control and wanting to instill fear, intimidate, and dominate others. Standing up for yourself is not always easy, but like what the video said, it takes just one brave soul to take the stand.
Mental health: The movie Inside Out shows how moving can really affect a child. It would take them a long time to adjust and adapt to a new environment, but when one reaches out to loved ones, they can get through anything 😊.
Problem parenting: It is really wrong to take and force a child into isolation. Mother Gothel was a real master manipulator. Those kinds of parents exist in this world today.

My hat’s off to you, Emily. Of all the videos in this channel I’ve seen, this is one takes the crown for most advanced summary. With those movies, old and new, it makes me realize that with many that I’ve grew up watching and some that I added to the collection for my memories, it now became rolled into one. It is crazy how films that are targeted for the younger audience can affect the older demographic because they too were once young themselves and many of them had experienced the events that were shown to them. It’s true that some topics are a bit tricky to handle but eventually, children will go through those series of events as their lives progress over time. Therefore, it’s why these movies are so memorable because it reflects on how we dealt with them and for those who will encounter them along the way. Although I’m not what I used to be, I’ll never stop watching animated movies for they made me who I am today. Thank you, from all of us viewers.

Toxic masculinity doesn't exist just like toxic femininity doesn't exist. Masculinity and femininity both aren't inherently toxic whatsoever. There are just some toxic men and women that exist. The patriarchy also doesn't exist in most western societies and countries and hasn't existed for decades at this point, especially in The United States. In today's society in the U.S the real problem is heavy misandry and radical feminism that has hijacked and brainwashed countless people and taught them to not fight for gender equality but to dominate over the other gender and to demonize all men and think they're all rapists and need to be killed

No. 14, Hiro losing his brother Tadashi and their parents is like Peter Parker losing his Uncle Ben and his parents: "Richard and Mary Parker" it's glad that he has his Aunt Cass and Baymax though. And, I would've loved to see what happened to the parents after they left the two brothers with their aunt if the subsequent series hadn't ended in season three. And in the two-parter finale for the "City of Monsters" arc in Season Two probably changed Karmi for the better that would've wanted to motivate her to want to become a superhero on her own before joining and aiding the team after she and Hiro went from being academic rivals at SFIT to finding solace in each other and becoming close friends/crushes and after what Diane "Di" Amara (who pretended to be the "real" Liv Amara, who inspired Karmi's love for bio chem techology and all) did to her as her award for being her intern at Sycorax to probably seriously scarred her so much and didn't even get a chance to say Goodbye to her new close friend: "Hiro" because of her parents' fear and concern for her safety to had her removed from SFIT and moved from San Fransokyo which she'll probably have to work hard to earn back so she can make her full comeback there and even become "Sunfire" in private secret from her parents too

Brother Bear is also a good message that words can lead to negative consequences too. We all have accountability for our actions as individuals. However, words can hurt as bad as sticks and stones, and between the tribe laughing at Kenai’s love totem he earned in the ceremony, Denahi making fun of him and even blaming him for Sitka’s death later, it only exacerbated the insecurities and ego blow Kenai had. Siblings do tend to bicker. It happens; we live together. But it’s a grim reminder that you need to be mindful of your words. Sometimes it just takes one bad day, one wrong word, to give someone something awful to hold onto and go into a slow downward spiral.

33:04 No wonder why HoND is one of the darkest and serious Disney movies. It dealt more than just religious extremism and misuse of power. The film also dealt with the themes of racial prejudice, disfigurement, ableism, sexual harassment, religious hypocrisy, authority abuse, etc. Inside Out 2 being so successful means that people have started to take mental health seriously which is great, the movie can save lives @Theater kid hormii 9 days ago (edited) a lot of them are missing:
Cinderella deals with the step parenting and physicological abuse,
Beauty and the Beast : toxic masculinity, outcasting, ignorance and women being forbidden of being educated
Hercules: sibling rivalry, adoption and fight for power
Tarzan: foster families, ambition, loss of a son/parent and self discovery
Peter Pan: coming of age, fear of growing up
Little Mermaid: over protective parenting and prejudice
Home on the range: money laundering and smuggling
    Toy Story 2: abandonement
Bambi: loss , hunting and the cruelty of man against nature
I love how Disney didn't dumb down their films just because they were aimed at children, but understands that they're able to understand complex, mature themes. 8 days ago (edited) I love Inside Out 1&2. I have never seen a Disney movie to make me want to cry, as much as Inside Out 2. I love what I do for a living, but working as a dishwasher made me realize even I suffer from having anxiety attacks . Inside Out 2 is the first Disney movie that I could truly connect with on an emotional level As the great Don Bluth once said “kids can handle anything you throw at them, as long as you give them a happy ending”. Disney has thrown A LOT of stuff at kids. From moral messages, to death, to poison, abandonment issues, it’s a long list. And kids today and yesterday are better for it9 days ago (edited) Absentee parents: Sometimes, it's not easy being a single parent, especially when it comes to abandonment. It would take them a long time to adjust and adapt to a new environment, but when one reaches out to loved ones, they can get through anything .
Problem parenting: It is really wrong to take and force a child into isolation. Mother Gothel was a real master manipulator. Those kinds of parents exist in this world today. Despite their recent roadblocks post the pandemic, they can be quite effective with their lessons and themes. When Disney movies dealt with serious issues, really taught us more and prepared us to see somewhat the reality, when we saw these movies as kids, Disney shouldn't stop touching on serious topics in its movies. That's how they gave us moral lessons through this. Thanks for including Inside Out 2, it means a lot, the health mental is very important As someone with Anxiety and Depression, Inside Out and Inside Out 2 really hit home with me, because sometimes I feel like crying, but I can't, and sometimes I have moments where I feel like I'm not good enough, and I put a lot of pressure on myself like there was one time near the end of my third semester of college, I was doing my project which was a bunch of labs, and I was literally on the verge of a mental breakdown because of it, like I nearly had an anxiety attack due to it, but when I got it done and did my final exam, I felt so relieved, like I felt like I could finally relax, and it was like I was calling Joy to give me that sense of calm. Lilo and Stitch is my favorite Such a great story real but with scifi/fansty video idea: top 10 most underrated Disney sequels
also the Pixar ones hit hard I see Brother Bear, I clicked I love both Inside Out movies You know, this was actually very important for Disney and Pixar to use their theatrically released animated feature films to discuss these serious issues with parents and teachers because the Earth could fall into a dark curse if everything keeps going as it currently is so far. I hope we the people can fight back fast enough in time before the beginning of the next century (if there will ever even be one). Thank you guys for this useful video on what animation studios are doing for the planet and its people and biodiversity. Wall E was more climate change dealing than Cars 2 a little bit of everything on this list is the entire vault in any movie you get any issue from enslavement bullied ridiculed loss or death of any relative beaten up physically emotionally mentally threatening insults from any antagonist They show us how we can deal with our problems by trying to prevent these things or some of them from happening If cars 2 tough us anything it’s just to be ourselves and taking care of the environment

I like that all these Disney movies don’t hold back serious issues because it teaches children all about them and how to deal with them and that’s why I think it’s great that Disney didn’t hold back on anything. “Maybe this is what happens when you grow up…., you Feel LESS JOY…..” -- Joy, 2024 Sequel Top ten moments in live disney remake that were better than the animated version (or at least retain its source of material)

One thing I appreciate about the song "Savages" from Pocahontas is that it shows the hate Both sides have for each other. Both sides are angry and their actions make sense to themselves, and view the other as savage. Pocahontas is the only one who steps away from the hate to see both sides as human and try to end without violence ❤

Honestly, I'd even like to add "Ralph Breaks the Internet" for dealing with insecurities.
Like yeah, it was inside the internet, but there were also emotional and personal insecurities between Ralph and Vanellope. This actually kinda forshadows the insecurity virus taking advantage of both - though the latter also got targeted due to her glitch.
Ralph was also struggling with letting Vanellope live her own life vs staying with him every minute out of work hours, and felt like if she stayed in Slaughter Race all the time, she may no longer want to hang out with him or maybe even forget about him.
The movie gets a lot of hate, but I personally enjoy it. Plus when you think about the whole deal with Ralph's insecurity, it really can add up to how a Wreck It Ralph virus made sense as a "final battle", so to speak.
