ya'll are sleeping on No Way Out from Brother Bear
Hakuna Matata
2021: "We Don't Talk About Bruno! No, no, no!"
2024: "We Won't Stop Talking About Bruno! No, no, no!"
🎶We don’t talk about Bruno!🎶
We don't talk about Bruno, but we SING about Bruno!
I like Bruno.
@@mandyb2245 Agree
A story all about family that exhiles their own family. TWICE. In one movie.
The fact that most Tangled songs like When Will My Life Begin and I See the Light are not in there is criminal
those are good but i dont think they went hard
agreed
Garbage songs quit crying
from tangled missing songs, I'd personally go with "I have a dream"!
love this movie, don't think it ever got the attention it deserves!
@@chloeeng6811 the fact that the likes of "God Help the Outcasts", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Part of Your World" made the list...kinda makes your explanation fallible...
I love that "Bruno" gives every family member a chance to shine, as they each sing with their own melody.
Agreed! It is one of the most catchiest songs from “Encanto!” 🎉❤
True!
Plus the part when Isabella comes down from her vines and the characters are doing a slow hand movement is something that you find in a Broadway show.
Well technically Luisa, Antonio, and Mirabel’s mother didn’t sing about Bruno.
actually when a bunch of different singers come together like that it's referred to as a madrigal
which means We Don't Talk About Bruno is a madrigal of Madrigals
FINALLY SOMEONE giving Treasure Planet the recognition it DESERVES!
Actually, Im Still Here deserves to be WAY higher on this list.
THIS!
It and Sinbad are among my top 5 EASILY
Its so good i love treasure Planet so much that every time i here jims theme i balling my eyes out
Genuinely Treasure Planet is one of my favourite movies
I couldn’t help but notice how many of the most significant movies of all time were made in the early 90s.
Think about who makes these lists: Gen X, who were coming of age when these movies were released, Millenials, who had them on repeat as small children, and Gen Z, who grew up with their parents' (Gen X) coming-of-age media.
but also that was the best era lol sorry not sorry music wise
Kiss The Girl from The Little Mermaid is one of the best songs ever. And Remember Me from Coco makes me cry every single time.
Especially at the end of the movie with grandma 😢
Shocked there was no mention of Hakuna Matata, You got a friend in me or Remember me.
They said no Pixar, so that takes out you got a friend in me, but the other two should have been there
I hate to be that person but the whole Tarzan soundtrack goes hard. You missed an opportunity to put the whole album at number 1. 😂 definitely makes me want to watch more for my Disney marathon
@@TonyJabroni3824 That’s what I thought 😂 like You’ll Be In My Heart, Strangers Like Me, Two Worlds….The entire soundtrack is SO GOOD
I love son of man too. Definitely the whole album
Two Worlds as well! Best Disney movie ever, best Disney movie soundtrack🌟
They should have.
Son of man absolutely slaps most of the songs on this list
Jim's Theme is pure 2000s nostalgia! A true bop
The whole movie is an underrated classic. It wasn't hyped like it should have been. I never get tired of watching the character arcs both Silver and Jim go through during the movie. There was even room for a sequel to allow Silver to fully redeem himself and earn his pardon.
I was so prepared to dislike this movie when it came out but now it has to be one of my most watched. Jim's Theme should have been way higher on this list.
I literally (and unintentionally) let out a little squeal when I saw "i2i" in the top five. Everyone always forgets about it, but truly is one of the best Disney sings.
Me too! I also made a loud squeal when I saw Treasure Planet. No one talks about that movie but I love it
@@shonea8819 I agree. It is weird that these are theatrically released *Disney* films of the 90s and 00s, but they are essentially "cult classics".
Unpopular opinion: "After Today" is better than "I 2 I."
@@AdderTude that's my second favorite
The whole soundtrack of The Hunchback of Notre Dame is just perfection ! "Hellfire" is easily top 3 Disney villain songs ever
for me it's "out there" - frollo goes above and beyond* on wickedness in the beginning of it, and I also think it's neat to have the hero's song flipping on that!
((*maybe I should have said below and deeper still? 😅))
Definitely my favorite soundtrack. It is so stunningly beautiful, just like the film's animation.
I was hoping to see The Bells of Notre Dame on here. Hunchback is my favorite Disney movie ever, so I'm a bit biased. Lol.
@@ParalyzedQueen When I was a kid the only thing that I liked about it was the soundtrack, because just the first minutes the statues in the cathedral gave me the creeps hehe. As I grow older, I appreciated the film sooooo much more. I love the dark approach, and the soundtrack still slaps.
The Bells of Notre Dame is absolutely incredible. Definitely should be on a top Disney songs list.
Oliver & Company was my favorite soundtrack/movie as a child!
I'm sorry, but Almost there not even being in the honorable mentions is CRIMINAL-😭😭😭
As is not mentioning I see the light
Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride is one of those songs that I just can’t sit still when I hear it.
Same!
Surface Pressure is the best song ever, I so resonate with it. I remember reading that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote it for his older sister when she was telling him about a time she had to get up early one Christmas morning to help assemble his present. Sometimes parents put a lot on pressure on the oldest kids and they do it a lot to the oldest girl child.
So far as going hard, “Not in Nottingham” always crushes it for me.
Ooooh, old school! Robin Hood is definitely underrated.
🎶No man is WORTH the AGGRAVATION 😫🎶 is literally my favorite lyric of Disney history.
Muses, after Meg sings "Who do think you're kiddin, he's the earth and heaven to you.'
Reminds me of Hades: "He's a guy!" xD
Tarzan could have easily had multiple spots on this list. Not even a mention of Son of Man is crazy!
I vaguely remember a (Dutch translation of) an interview with Phil Collins in which he stated he was amazed when Disney asked him to write the songs for Tarzan, as he had no experience with typical Disney song, causing the guys at Disney to say "If we wanted a typical song we'd ask somebody else. We want YOU!"
Well, I guess, back in the day Disney still knew how to make a good move (as they seem to have lost that ability, to be honest).
Surface pressure should be much higher🥹
Hit 👍 for all the older sisters
I think it's an older sibling anthem in general, not to undercut the primary audience, but I'm the oldest of 4 boys, and it hits hard whenever I hear it.
How was it only 26? 🥲
I was offended at where it was in the list as well 😮
@@latoyasuperville6686same
@@bryantsanchez-carazo5816 I'm the youngest of 3 and I really love and respect this song cuz it really explain how my older sister holds everything
Tarzan and Hércules soundtracks are masterpieces
I love the Aristocats party
Everybody, Everybody
Everybody wants to be a cat…
( wish granted 19 years later from 1970)
Just remember the most important thing. *WE DON’T TALK ABOUT BRUNO.* But we do sing about him.
Even though Walt Disney didn’t live to see 1991’s Beauty and the Beast, I’d say he’d be very proud. The movie itself made history for all animated movies, earning an award
Well technically there wouldn’t be a Beauty and The Beast without The Little Mermaid since that film began the Disney Renaissance era.
I will tell you this, when I first watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I was amazed. The songs, the story and the characters. The beginning is undeniably unforgettable and Esmeralda’s song is my favorite part of the movie
Surface Pressure should have been way higher on the list
Not only were there a ton of bangers. But I miss so much of the old art styles in the older movies. Still fantastic moments
These films and their music have truly changed the world and in a good way
I mean, Prince Ali HAD to go THAT hard. It was a song to sell him as a desirable son in law. If you want to sell something you have to go HARD. 🤣
The irony is that Jasmine finds princes a waste of time because they're so full of themselves. It's actually funny that Jasmine just wants to be a normal girl rather than a princess and Aladdin wants to be a prince than just some guy.
I remember being absolutely blown away when I heard Hellfire as an adult 😳
God Help the Outcasts always gives me all the feels. I even sang it twice, once in concert and once in church. When I sang it, I thought of all of the homeless people that my church fed. I even had tears in my eyes.
I feel like I should look away every time I see Nala's look at Simba after she licked him LOLLLL
😂well, they can't show how lionesses really let the male know they're dtf😂😂😂
idk notre dame i feel like Hellfire goes harder, the disgusting but catchy nature of it is absolutely crazy
OhMyGod! I love it that You’ll Be In My Heart is number two. EveryTime I hear that song, I always think of my parents. They’re the reason why I love Disney so much
Treasure Planet's "I'm Still Here" in this video feels correct.
"Circle of Life" still give me goosebumbs!
The 90s disney animated features are the best!!!
Okay, when did they go from top 10 to top 20 to now top 30 seemingly out of nowhere?
I am wondering the same thing.
I knew Circle of Life would win. It still gives me goosebumps every time when I listen to it.
the fact that there is only one Tarzan song here is a crime
There are so many good Disney songs, I think they should have stuck with one per movie.
I would have went with "On My Way" from Brother Bear if we want another Phil Collins song.
@@kamikeserpentail3778 fair enough but my fave is the very underrated Son Of Man 🔥
Every Song From Tarzan ♥️ Phil Collins Is A Musical Genius🔥
*sees title of the video* Literally just every single Disney villain song
Mad madam mim is so criminally underrated
@@samhill5006 That is very true. Although the entire movie of Sword in the Stone is underrated.
@@rubygracemoseley8144 shame it’s so good
@@rubygracemoseley8144 yep!! talk about higitus figitus migitus mum 🎶 prestidigitorium!
@@carolinazanata1473 Gah how I wish it was that easy to clean our house as that scene made it 😂
Be Prepared and Hellfire are criminally low on this list
98: I freaking love the opening of Hercules. It’s my favorite Disney Movie Opening of a gospel song
I can't believe "I just can't wait to be king" wasn't on the list.
"Circle of life" oh beautiful, masterpiece ❤
Let’s face it Encanto is just one banger after another
Where's "The Bells of Notre Dame"???? One of the best opening songs EVER from the best Disney soundtrack!!
More honorable mentions:
Are You In Or Out? - Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Son of Man - Tarzan
I'm On My Way - Brother Bear
A Girl Worth Fighting For - Mulan
Savages - Pokahontas
I Wanna Be Like You - The Jungle Book
Love that all the characters are original and not altered.
Can never go wrong with Keith David.😆
Part of your world cannot be that low on the list, especially as it brought the 'I want' song to Disney films
I'm Wishing & Someday My Prince Will Come- Snow White,
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes-Cinderella,
Once Upon A Dream-Sleeping Beauty.
I am sure there are more, but my tired brain has stopped.
@@tracyhuddlestun2560
"When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio. The first Disney tune to win Best Original Song.
From all Frozen fans: please stop ranking Let It Go above Show Yourself
Into the Unknown beats Show Yourself
@@BigBWolf90 Show Yourself is about self discovery and self power. Elsa is looking for someone/something in Into the Unknown and Show Yourself is literally the answer song to it. The music, the lyrics, the singing, and the way the song builds musically and emotionally gives it a special unique quality.
Show Yourself beats Into the Unknown every time and most Frozen fans agree.
"Like Tevin Campbell singing it..." .... *HE DID SING IT! HE VOICES POWERLINE!!!*
When you learn that Be Prepared was sung by the same man who voiced Winne The Pooh, Tigger, Ed (the Hyena), Darkwing Duck and was one half of CatDog...the man has RANGE
Jeremy Irons sings the first 2/3 of the song but he lost his voice and Jim Cummings took over the rest.
97: I’m Still Here is a Rocking Disney Favorite. I know it’s designed to make a sad backstory about Jim at a young age and his dad but I love the song
Treasure Planet is by far my fav movie and I love the song!! John Rzeznik did an awesome job
99: I love Eye to Eye and After Today from A Goofy Movie. Makes me want to dance
Oliver and company finally getting some love
Yeah, it's one of the well made older Disney movies, and all the songs in it are interesting except in my opinion "Perfect isn't easy". That one sounds kind-of annoying when you listen to it, and is sung by the character who from her selfish behaviour and her thinking that she's "the cat's ass," (or as Dodger would say "The Champ") shows herself as pretty much the second villian in that 1988 release movie.
PS, a few years ago my mother called it: The Georgette Song" and I don't know why but I break into hysterical laughter each time I remember that she did that.😂
Before I even watch this, if there's not at least 1 song from Tarzan, I'm going to riot.
Technically there are talking about Bruno. Because singing it's just another form of talking😂
Haven’t seen what you rank first yet but all brother bear songs better be in #1 place, ”Great spirits” and also ”you’ll be in my heart” from Tarzan slaps harder than circle of life or any other overrated song!❤️
Great spirits is extremely underrated.
I can't believe there are no coco songs in this and that Cruela is only an honorable mention, but I do absolutely love a lot of the songs on this list.
I love "Colors of the Wind!" Thank you for mentioning Judy Kuhn, a hugely talented Broadway actress (the original adult Cosette in Les Miz).
Halloween town, Hellfire, Zero to Hero, are songs i hum when i'm hanging out or working when no other music playing lol i seen them dozens of times and in my playlist songs.
Anytime I hear "let's get down to business" my brain immediately has to answer with "to defeat... the huns" 😂
96: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been singing Disney Princess Songs
The Golden Age of Disney;
Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo & Bambi
The Wartime Era of Disney;
Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time and The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad
The Silver Age of Disney;
Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp & Sleeping Beauty
The Bronze Age;
One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Sword of the Stone, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, and Oliver & Company
The Disney Renaissance;
The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, & Tarzan
Post Renaissance Era;
Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur, The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home On the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt and The Princess and the Frog
The Revival Era;
Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-it Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II, Raya & The Last Dragon, Encanto, Strange World and Wish
Pretty sure this should be a top 200 list with all of the bangers I can't believe weren't mentioned. King Louis from jungle book, hakuna matata, the lion sleeps tonight, any song from coco,... For sure enough songs to make a part 2, 3 and 4
The fact that three 'Little Mermaid' songs are here made me happy. My aunt used to sing them to me and I knew the majority of the songs before I got the chance to watch the movie.
Up 'til today when talking with my aunt about something and I'm busy I'll end up singing the line, “I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day.” from 'Poor Unfortunate Soul'
Luisa has to be one of my favorite characters in Disney's entire repertoire now.
I started the movie and the first instinct I had was "oh, so she's the strong and stoic and "sporty" one huh? I can tell I'm going to hate her." but then she starts talking to Mirabelle, and it doesn't stop, and I catch the same atmosphere as the donkeys and go "Oh, no, she's going to blow." and then... Surface pressure starts picking up.
God that song just caught me SO OFF GUARD!
we're all glad they did go that hard
"Give it to your sister and never wonder if the dame pressure would've pulled you under". My mom beats herself up so bad for not realizing how much pressure I was under as a teen be ause "Gracie's the strong one" "she can handle anything". We had such a good relationship she thought id come to her if anything was really wrong but I kept it all in because I saw her dealing with ither things and didnt want to burden her. This is, of course, a child's thinking as I know now it wouldnt have burdened her but now i have no coping skills and that lead me down a very self destructive path right after high school. Just now getting back on track. Talk to someone! Its so much better to get it out now instead of waiting until the pot boils over while you're still trying to add more water
Songs I like from this list:
“Part of your World” The Little Mermaid (1989)
“Surface Pressure” Encanto (2021)
“Friends on the Other Side” The Princess and the Frog (2009)
“This is Halloween” The Nightmare before Christmas (1993)
“Let It Go” Frozen (2013)
“Friend Like Me” (1992)
“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” (2021)
“Circle of Life” (1994)
Though “Let It Go” is over played, Idina Menzel’s voice is captivating and gives me goosebumps.
Keith David’s vocals in “Friends on the Other Side” make me slightly tremble, and send chills down my spine.
Keith David is soooooooooo good!!!!!!!
I was really hoping for go the distance!!
I love Disney songs
I definitely saw the No. 1 pick coming as soon as I read the title of this video. It's much deserved, that is the most iconic disney song of all time
The princess and the frog have the most amazing villain song
They havé one of the best vilains from this area and thé singes are definitely a major reason why
If this isn't a list of 30 songs from my favourite Disney playlist, I don't know what is!
love that you honor the older songs and new ones OH Hawaiian Roller costar ride I love Lilo and the best
Great choice for this top 30 list these heartfelt and uplifting Disney songs from some of my all time favorites have been a big part of my childhood memories and each hold a special place in my heart 👍❤️🥲
I was just about to point out that "Circle of Life" should be on the list, but seeing it right where it belongs filled me with pure joy. That song and the entire intro amazed me as a kid when that movie came out.
I couldn't believe Robin Hood "Not In Nottingham" didn't make the list.
You forgot to add every song from Tarzan!
Nightmare Before Christmas is one continuous banger
YES!!! I treasure Great Spirits. I may not know the late Tina Turner that much but this song by her is a favorite of mine
Several generations were just transported back to their childhoods. I tip my hat to you, @MsMojo. Great list
I performed Colors of the Wind with my choirs, one of my favorite songs to perform! These days I play Disney music for my parakeet and when one of my faves like Colors of the Wind comes on I sing and so does my bird! He’s a big fan of Disney music!
Love it. Not a single remake live action version made it on the list. As it should be.
You'll be in my Heart is my Mom and I's song
I love these songs. So amazing.
The fact that I've never seen Treasure Planet but still know the song speaks to its excellence
How in the hell did Can't wait to be king not get number one over circle of life!!!! I'm fuming!
Next list idea, Disney songs that brings you to tears.
The fact that brother Bear makes the top 3.... The actual WTF
Tarzan could fill all the top spots every song was a banger
I know its not a Disney movie so doesnt count for this list, but the opening "Deliver Us" from Prince of Egypt is an opening number that hits v. hard.
No one will ever agree on this list. But some of my own honorable mentions (that id most likely have exchanged out for some on this list) :
The Journey (who will rescue me) - The Rescuers
When I See An Elephant Fly - Dumbo
He's A Tramp - Lady and the Tramp
The Bells of Notre Dame - Hunchback of Notre Dame
I personally like Strangers Like Me and Two Worlds from Tarzan better than Youll be in my heart, but thats just me.
Thank you Emily. This video made my day.
