Spirit, Over the Hedge, Megamind, Puss in Boots, Home, Kung Fu Panda 3, and How to Train Your Dragon 3 deserved so much more in my opinion, those were great films and should've been at least a bit higher on the list!
I love how everyone in the comments said HTTYD and KFP deserved better. Absolutely, these two series are the best trilogies of Dreamworks. Especially the first httyd movie has a special part in my heart.
But look at where HTTYD ranked, all it lost to was Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar. While Madagascar personally wasn't my cup of tea, it's easy to see why those 3 outperformed HTTYD

How To Train Your Dragon was absolutely awe-inspiring when I was a kid. It was everything I dreamed of - especially the scene where Hiccup rides Toothless for the first time

I worked on many of these movies including the dragon films... HTTYD (the original one) did a really neat feat... in movies, you call the first weekend box office take VS the final number its 'multiplier'. 9 out of ten times, you multiply what a movie makes in it's opening weekend times 4 to get a good idea what a film will do. the first weekend on How to Train Your Dragon was far below expectation, and we were all very disappointed. but the next few weekends were a suprise, the film dropped down a bit in numbers in the second weekend, then for the next few weeks made roughly the same money... in the end the overall number was (still) lower than expected or hoped for but the final multipler was SIX times opening weekend, indicating very good word of mouth, (people telling friends 'you GOTTA see this flick'!) thus part 2 was put into production, we had a hit on our hands.

UPD: I Googled it. What a shame...

Sure! We've already noted this😉
Spirit is such a good movie in fact, my favourite, the landscape, values that it teaches and the storyline are unmatched and I will be willing to watch this movie again and again and again
Please, Top 15 Super Heroes Movies of all time!
Sure one! Noted🙌🏻😉
Gotta thank dreamworks for making several movies of many people’s childhoods including mine
It’s sad how El Dorado, Spirit, Treasure Island, Price of Egypt and Sinbad are so underrated, and out performed by something like boss baby🤦♂️
Megamind deserved more 😭
Httyd deserves more. It is a huge part of my life and will always be. Toothless forever!!!
Thanks DreamWorks for making my childhood even better with these movies
If HTTYD was rated based on the series as well it would easily be #1. The series were so good. KFP and Shrek were great as well.
Ye HTTYD will always be Number 1 for me.
The Prince of Egypt is the best DreamWorks movie.
@@R0n17 cap HTTYD is clear
@@swisherodocus314 You clearly haven’t seen Prince of Egypt. Although the HTTYD trilogy is fantastic, it’s just not as good as Prince of Egypt.
@@R0n17 actually I have and I think HTTYD is better. Agree to disagree
It's amazing how this channel inspires me on a regular to work harder on my statistics channel.
Watching channels like this gives me a massive internal drive to produce as good charts as this one.
Thank you for igniting💥 my journey and stay blessed❤
We are so glad to hear that🙏❤️ You're doing a great job. All the best for your journey.
That's really great, I would love to support you
Wait are you telling me dreamworks never made a movie that passed 1 billion?
Interesting video
Glad you like it! 🙌🏻
