Man, that bike sounds good! Always enjoy seeing Chris in his element. The mechanics episodes have gotten increasingly interesting to me, and I really enjoy attempting to learn what I can from them. I also noticed the giveaway Road Glide had some blue and gold additions to it. Lookin snazzy!
Got me excited because just today I got the ball rolling for a stage 2 upgrade on my new 2022 Street Glide ST M8 117ci. Zippers Red Shift 468 cam kit, SE Tune (to not void warranty), TAB slip-ons w/Zombie baffles. Psyched!
Just started following you a couple of days ago and watched your learning to ride videos. Took on an interest to ride within the last monthI left a comment on there thanking you, but just want to say it again. You’re an awesome teacher, and I am happy to announce my basic rider course is next week and I’ll be making my purchase within the next month! Thank you once again for breaking everything down and making it not only easier to understand, but giving confidence while you do! Godspeed friend!
Another great video. Glad your channel is going awesome. First of all I love the direction of Harley. The Sportster S and Pan America are outstanding. Finally the 117 into a smaller lighter bike, thx Harley. I think Harley has seen what happened in 2008 with the Big 3 moving from fleet sales to world sales. They went Bankrupt trying to catch up as they waited too long. GM in 2008 bailout, Ford 2009 bailout. I have owned 30 bikes, never a Harley almost bought a Fat Bob 2 years ago but bought a Super Duke Instead. Less weight, more horsepower, stability control, traction control, Abs standard. I am over 60. I can not do 800 pound bikes. If the Sportster S was available That may have changed my mind as lighter, more horsepower and standard electronic aids. I raced professional motocross and flat track in the 60-70’s. I still want safety aids as I am not constantly 100% focused at times. RDRS should be standard on all Harley’s not an option on touring bikes. It’s for safety. Ducati, BMW, KTM, offer stability control standard. Stability control mandated 2012 for cars. Euro 5 requires TC. Harley would also benefit with electronic suspension. Look forward to next video.
New rider here. Only been riding sport bikes (125 and 250) but I have my eye on the 2022 Lowrider S. Really find your videos informative and fun to watch. Keep up the good work 👏
@@Jsanchez52 most definitely did. I picked it up in October and put about 1k miles in the first month! I have it in the shop now getting a TBR Turnout exhaust, some risers, and a new seat put on! I absolutely love the bike.
Nice bike. Love the sound of the pipes and cam. The fairing and bars aren't my style, so that is the only thing I would do different. The black looks so much better than that primer gray.
Thats AWESOME....also the viewers need to consider that your Dyno is super reserved compared to most of the dealer dyno's...(dunno how the dealers find all these "magic" dynos) On the dyno that Chris used to use, that thing would have made another 10 hp and ft-lbs of torque..LOLZ. FYI...my dyno guy is definitely doing 2021/2022 bikes...
This is what I wanted to see… I heard blockhead talking about going with D&D in the future. I have a tbr turnout pipe on my ‘20 FXLRS and just ordered a D&D bob cat. 10-12 week wait😣 but comparing same mods looks like you got 10 more ft lbs of torque with those pipes. Seems like it’ll be well worth the wait!
Block, let's see some other cams...please please I consistently see the same 4-5 cam swaps. I'd love to see you do a MaxCell 821, CR483 or something from Ward Performance, or T-Man
I've been watching your videos ever since I bought my 2020 Lowrider S in November of 2020. And I enjoyed watching your build series on Goldzilla. My question is how do the horsepower and torque numbers of the stage 2 117 compare to the all Harley 131 kit for the Lowrider S?
Hi there, I was watching one of you videos and you said you were changing out the two brothers for the D&D exhaust. Have you done that and if so how does it do as far as power gain. thanks
my top speed on the highway with a stock '23 117 was over 125mph..... with a stage 1 Power Vision 4 tune - straight drag pipes - stock "HF" air cleaner I got it to 131mph with a little room to go ;)
I just love to ride, I am have never been interested in bore kits etc. On my new 107 2017 Street Glide special up from my 2006 Road King I do a stage one and gear cam kit that’s it aside from adding full LED lighting. Now I did install a fan assisted oil cooler on my 2017 to help with cooling. I already paid for the bike and not going to pay twice.
Love the channel man. Thinking to buy my first harley. How reliable has been your low rider s so far? I debated between indian and HD. But the service and endless customization options convinced ms to go with HD. I am still debating on which model to go for. I would like to do some longer rides. Full day/several day trips but i also want sportier more classic looking bike.
What’s the best tuner out there? I know SE is about to come out with a new one but I would like to just buy one and be done and be able to build my bike without having to buy another
I've subscribed to you for a while now didn't know you had a garage bro. I live in Central Florida. would love to visit the garage and ride with you guys bro I got a 2020 low rider s
I've heard that the heavy breather elite or whatever ita called that comes stock on the 2022 117ci is very restrictive and can rob 7 to 10 hp. (Don't shoot thr messenger just what I'm hearing in forums.) Maybe thay accounts for the difference in power between the 114 stage 2 and 117 stage 2?
Just out of curiosity, are you guys able to upgrade the scout motor beyond what was done in the vs video series? I love my scout and would love to slap some more power into it.
I'm got the SE stage 2 torque cam kit done to my 21 street bob to keep my warranty. I mentioned I was looking at getting a TBR 2 into 1 or cobra el diablo exhaust next and my dealership said they would void my warranty if I did????? I'm confused and irritated since my bike is warrantied till 2025 and I used SE parts and tuner! Is it just dealership discretion or what? I have to go back to that dealership for maintenance since I got a maintenance package thro them too.
It’s usually based entirely on the dealership preference. Some are cool about it, some aren’t. Sounds like yours isn’t, so I’d find another if possible 👍🏼
@@BlockheadMoto the issue I have is I bought a maintenance package at that particular dealership and I'm afraid if I put the full exhaust on and they see it when I get the oil changed and spokes tightened they said they would flag it?? Idk how they can flag it I thought that was tied to the electronics in the bike and it would be flagged for using a non approved tuner. I have the SE harley-davidson tuner... I just don't understand. Not cool it's that last thing I have to do to complete my Club style build. I have slip ons right now

Should be called a stage 25! Cuz Chris the master level tech worked his magic on it!!!
then next year called a stage 26 (then you get people comparing their stage 25 and stage 26 and so on XD
The 475 cam was my favorite cam choice when I was looking and have no regrets with my choice
