That's how much of an impact Amuro + Char had on the entire war. Amuro destroyed Ace pilot after Ace pilot, plus dozens of would-be superweapons, while Char basically upended the entire Zeonic power base/chain of command like three or four times BY HIMSELF. Zeon were basically giving F1 race cars to kids who barely knew how to drive go-karts at this point.

Of course they had actual Wunderweapons that succeeded like the V2 missile rockets that we later used to send people to space. They also were actually somewhat close to creating atomic bombs as well at some point.
Wouldn't matter either way since zeon were scripted to lose. Can't beat pro fed plot armor
Aside from the issue already mentioned, re: RnD in different places weren't communicating and/or were getting snuffed alongside their projects--case in point being the guy who designed the Apsalus in 8th MS Team killing his entire like....20+ team of engineers/scientists when it was finished--at this point in the war the Zeons had so few actually GOOD pilots left that giving them suped up suits would've made little difference.
Would love a 1/144 kit of this
I always liked this noble armor

I bet they had a third of the animation budget we have now even by the standards of the time
Why did the Zaku shoot at the Walo, and why did it run it over? (never watched this series)
The pilot of the mobile armor went rogue because he basically built/modified the damned thing, but was backstabbed. The zaku’s pilot was supposed to be assigned that MA, and is now tasked with recapturing it.
@@thedecisiveraindrop4868 they sent him to recapture with only a machine gun?
@@irregularquiche2296 I think it was because the commander also wanted them killed for managing to get the guy who rebuilt the thing to turn against their request to have it be given to them, if I recall how it happened. Then again it's been a while since I've seen the show so I could be wrong.
@@irregularquiche2296 they weren’t expecting him to actually use the armor against them
@@gunznblades3547 Cima doesn’t seem to like Kult - the dude in the Zaku - despite him being one of her longtime crew. She basically drops his Zaku out the cargo hold with some flippant comment knowing he doesn’t stand a chance. Maybe he made a remark about liking Gihren Zabi’s haircut or something.
漢だよな、最後に下半身パーツ返してあげるの泣ける
Well, at least he was kind enough to throw the legs back before exploding.
This was Peak Gundam.
Why did that zaku pilot at the start stand still? He should have used his superior mobility as an advantage
Might have been a Zaku II J type, talk about a cruel joke
I like the music from encounters in space for this sean
ヴァルヴァロ!!マジでカッコイイ!!
大好き!!
だけど・・・いくら何でも強すぎじゃないかな?
Funny thing is, when Kelley sorties the Val Walo and attempted to hunt down the Gundam in order to prove his worth to Cima, she instead thought he was defecting to the Federation.
Why the devil this scene was opt out of the Afterglow of ZEON OVA?!
This was a Noble battle
モビルアーマーで1番好き!!

Ever think about doing ships as well?
I feel bad for Kelly, cause he didn't deserve what he got, and the fact that him and Kou had to fight to the death was even sadder cause he helped him reconstruct the Van Valo :(
Well they did have a man to man agreement so his sacrifice wasn’t in vain because he got the duel he wanted
Fortunately they change his fate in the manga

Majority of Gundams use magical power of plot armor
SDM animation is dope but you can tell it's from the 90s.
And it's direct-to-video. The wide release gap per episode means the staff have enough time to do the crazy fluid animations and given bigger budget (it's Sunrise) compared to tv animes.
@@Joshua_N-A Didn't know it was straight-to-home-media.

Was this thing a predecessor to the Shamblo? Kind of looks like it
Everything about 0083 is great, except the characters.
What the heck did you said here, comradefreedom? So then, can you *explaining me about the characters of "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory 🌠" OVA* right...?
@@rahadianaryo5979 Yeah, Burning, Gato and Cima are like... the only characters who are even entertaining/interesting. Kou is an everyman, Keith is a nothing character, most of Kou's comrades on the Albion are either boring, or douchebags (see Monsha), and then there's Nina. At first she was just a selfish, inconsistent bitch, but then that love triangle shit at the end was such an ass-pull. There was no interesting writing leading up to it. It just comes out of nowhere.

Kou shouldn't have helped Kelly to fix his mobile armor up after he wandered off at the shopping mall and gets beaten by bullies then Kelly takes to the junkyard's private home.

ところで前から気になってたけど、尻拭い処刑させられた奴のザクってF2型じゃ無くて普通のF型かなんかで合ってる?

why did it attack a zaku before fighting the gundam?
mobile armor pilot was betrayed by his own people, they tried to stop him with the zaku.

I liked this MA but too bad it wasn't popular enough to get an update HGUC. Instead we got that Nightingal thingy from Gundam Unicorn.

1:03ケリィ「アクションビィィィィム!!」
seeing this now just realized Gundam 00 reused this idea on the golden MS/MA, but this sense still the best action lol
Finally they came up with something practical. Robots shouldn't be besting spaceships in their role and their feels like it is designed for a three dimensional environment though those mines would need some upgrades.
GMs with armor plating? That's like wearing tactical vests.
Well it isn’t really a regular GM per say but it’s the GM Cannon II with the Choban armor based off the Alex from 0080 making up that massive armor that it has
Chobam armor is designed to reduce impact damage from kinetic weapons. The Alex Gundam had it as a sacrificial layer that can be disgarded anytime. The GM Cannon II that you see has its Chobam armor as its primary defense. This reduced cost, reduced weight (which made it pretty agile), and still provided excellent protection.
