I use "All Purpose Grease." You can get it in different brands.
So you changed only the oil filer and fuel filter? No water/fuel separator filter?
Noticed on the video that both Fuel Filters was changed. Yes Sir, if you change the Fuel Filter. You need to change the Water Separator Filter also.
Thanks

Hello, with your experience, what is the ideal oil change interval when conventional oil is used compared to synthetic?
Also, do you have to wait for the water separator filter to get to the red line before changing?
Thanks.
I have been using Rotella 15w-40 for many years. I never had a problem with it. I believe in changing the fuel filter every other engine oil change .
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 Thanks for your reply. So with the rotella, how many miles would you recommend between changes?
@winstonsalem5124 On a Cummins Engine due to it only carry 16.5 quarts. 4,000-5,000 miles.
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 once again thanks. I was under the impression that synthetic goes about 25k and conventional about 10k to 15k. on these box trucks.I guess I'm wrong!!!
@winstonsalem5124 most people feel the same way you do. I do not have the information in front of me. But Cummins oil change and hours are very much lower than people think. Especially if your vehicle is under warranty. If you was to have an engine failure. Cummins will not warranty the engine if you have exceeded the miles that I gave you. Cummins can be touch to deal with.
