So mine has what seems like a black plastic filter. Would the same process apply? Trying to save my boss some money by doing it myself. 2013 ford f750 cumming diesel. Part number wf10564
I have not changed a 2013 Ford F750 Filter. Either way, If you can screw it up right. You can pre- fill it and mount on a full Filter with diesel. I would slightly keep my foot on the accelerator for a few seconds until all air is out of system. Or you may have a primer near the Filter base that you rather use.
@billycallahan3338 Good question! That's a habit that I have. I learned that in case there is any unknown air in the system. I have a better chance of it working out of the Fuel Lines than shutting off the engine. If the truck shuts off. You will have to work on getting the air out of the system

What is the reason the put your foot on the gas petal? What happens if the truck shuts off on you?
